The present invention relates to a ridge which is particularly suitable for greenhouses and greenhouses.
The greenhouses and greenhouses are known to contain a number of plants that must be protected from direct weather conditions. However, if the meteorological conditions allow, these plants must also be able to be exposed to direct sunlight.
For this purpose, it is provided that the roofing of the greenhouses can be opened. However, the existing devices for this are extremely inconvenient, and in many cases it results that they jam due to the long time during which the roof remains closed. The ridge according to the invention eliminates these disadvantages and guarantees a proper and easy to carry out opening and closing of the roof part, even for an extremely long time during which the roof remains closed.
The ridge according to the invention is characterized by this. that it comprises a first element and a second element, of which the upper part of the first element has a V-like shape in cross-section, the legs having channel-shaped projections with circular arc-shaped cross-section extending in the longitudinal direction of this upper part, those above about a quarter of a circle segment is missing, whereby from the apex of the upper part two parallel lugs of equal height extend downwards, and that similar trough-shaped lugs are introduced into the trough-shaped lugs of the legs of the V-shaped element part,
which are attached to one end of the second element, which has a straight section which is angled at a right angle on the side opposite the channel-shaped approach, and that in the same direction near the channel-shaped approach a parallel to this right-angled bend wide flange is arranged and opposite this flange an inclined portion of such a length is seen before that it protrudes beyond the channel-shaped extension of the first element in the outermost pivot position of the second element.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing voltage, for example. 1 shows a perspective view of part of the exemplary embodiment of a ridge according to the invention shown in cross section in FIG. 3; FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a second part of the embodiment of a ridge according to the invention, shown in cross section in FIG. and FIG. 3 shows a cross section of the ridge consisting of those in FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 3, the Darge presented ridge has a first element 1 and two second elements 5 on. The upper part of the first element 1 has a V-like shape in cross-section, the thighs having channel-shaped projections 2 with a circular arc-shaped cross-section extending in the longitudinal direction of this upper part, which segment lacks about a quarter circle at the top, and from the apex of the upper part two parallel lugs 3 of the same height extend downwards. These approaches 3 are each provided with an outwardly directed short sentence 4 at their end.
In the channel-shaped lugs 2 of the legs of the V-shaped element part similar, also trough-shaped lugs 6 are inserted, which are attached to one end of the second element 5, which has a straight section on the opposite side of the channel-shaped at 6 is angled at right angles.
It is in the same direction in the vicinity of the channel-shaped extension 6 to this right angle 7 parallel, wide flange 8 angeord net, and opposite this flange 8 a sloping section 9 of such a length is provided that it is in the outermost pivot position of the second Element 5 protrudes beyond the channel-shaped extension 2 of the first element. The water section 9 has an inwardly directed narrow cheek on its free longitudinal edge.
The assembly of the parts 1 and 5 described above is shown in FIG. 3, namely the channel-shaped extensions 6 of the second elements 5 are inserted into the channel-shaped extensions 2 of the first element 1, the second element 5 between the angled 7 and the flange 8 carries the panels 10, which may for example be corrugated, which form the upper part of the roof of the greenhouse.
In the closed position, as shown on the right-hand side of FIG. 3, the pivotable glass plates 10 are aligned with respect to the plates labeled 11, which are to be regarded as non-moving parts of the roof. In this ge closed position, the inclined section 9 of the second element 5 covers the channel-shaped extension 2 of the first element 1 and thus prevents the entry of rainwater, dirt, etc., which ensures that the pivoting of the glass plate 10 without difficulty even after a long period of downtime before can be taken.
From the left-hand side of FIG. 3 it can be seen that the element 5 carrying the glass plate 10 is raised so as to enable air and sun to enter the interior of the greenhouse. Since the channel-shaped extension 2 of the first element 1 lacks a quarter circle segment, the possibility of pivoting the second element 5 in the channel-shaped extension 2 is from the closed position to the largest possible opening 90.
