Fig. 2 eine Ansicht von oben im Schema;
Fig. 3 eine Teilzeichnung des Drehtellers;

The invention relates to a method for producing and filling bottles from thermoplastically deformable materials. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this method.
Modern plastic bottles have so far been produced almost exclusively in the blow molding system, in such a way that a plastic tube is inflated in blow molding machines by supplying compressed air and the bottles are cut off piece by piece by jaw elements or by squeezing tools and come out of the machine finished.
This process has major disadvantages because the blowing process takes a considerable amount of time, and even the best and largest blowing machines known to date, which work with three tubes and, for example, six molds, eject a maximum of 1500 bottles per hour. The bulk consumers of bottles, e.g. B. breweries or dairies, on the other hand, require a multiple of this capacity on bottles for bottling beer, milk or the like. Therefore, several blow molding machines must be set up next to each other in order to ensure the availability of bottle stocks in large filling companies.
However, since an automatic blower complete with an infeed belt costs a lot of effort, huge expenditures are required here if you wanted to supply the bottles to a bottling plant in the amount required by it. Such companies would also have to set up the machine in their company, because it is practically impossible to ship finished blown bottles due to the large volume.
All these economic difficulties are pushing the relevant branches of industry to change the procurement of bottles in order to process the supply of customers as lucratively and quickly as possible.
Furthermore, a welding device for joining two-part bottles made of thermoplastic plastic films by means of frictional heat has become known, with the loading channel, to which a slotted guide tube and a transport device adjoin, a cutting device and a clamping gripping device for holding the cut hollow bodies are provided and for feeding to the welding device, consisting of an upper part that can be moved up and down with adjustable rotational speed and a lower part that is held in a fixed or rotatable manner by an adjustable slip clutch,
a further clamping gripping device is arranged for removing the welded hollow body and feeding a punch with a receptacle.
This known device is essentially characterized in that, for the production of containers with an opening, e.g. Bottles and cans, the welding device in the direction of the production process is followed by a cutting tool for cutting off a cap from the hollow body, the welding device comprising a holder for the hollow body and for the cutting element.
However, these devices are in no way sufficient for the aforementioned manufacturing operation as mass production and so the aim of the invention is to create a novel method of producing bottles from plastic which avoids all these disadvantages and makes it possible to produce any desired number of such bottles in the brewery to store the smallest possible space and without the need to set up the large systems in the brewery or dairy itself.
The method according to the invention for producing and filling bottles from thermoplastically deformable materials, the bottles each consisting of a bottle top and a bottle bottom, is based on the fact that the bottle tops and the bottle bottoms are stacked separately, successively placed on top of one another, connected to one another, which produce Bottles are ejected, fed to a filling station via a conveyor belt, filled there and then provided with a closure and ejected.
The edges of the upper part of the bottle and the lower part of the bottle can be formed as flange-like connecting edges by appropriate punching, the edge of one of these hollow bodies being provided with a groove protruding into the connecting plane or with a welded bead. The stacks for the bottle tops and for the bottle bottoms can also be arranged in such a way that they fall intermittently into horizontally rotating receptacles passed under the stacks and, in the rhythm of the production process, a welding device to connect the partially hollow bodies and an ejector to transfer the bottles to subsequent filling and sealing are fed.
The device according to the invention for performing the method consists in that it is composed of a horizontal turntable, two stackers for the bottle tops and for the bottle bottoms, a welding device, a filling station and a bottle closure unit. The turntable or turntable can be set in rotation by means of a piston-operated pneumatic unit, in such a way that the two stack dispensers for the top and bottom of the bottle can be driven successively at the same time via a toothed belt that engages the gears and the ring gear of the turntable .
The finished product from this process forms a filled and ready-to-sell bottle, the top and bottom of which can be welded together and labeled using screen printing.
Details are explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and in the following description of an exemplary embodiment of the invention. Show it:
1 shows the device unit in a perspective illustration;
Fig. 2 is a view from above in the scheme;
3 shows a partial drawing of the turntable;
4a the upper and lower part of the bottle as an enlarged detail before the welding process;
4b likewise after the welding process;
5 is a side view of a schematic of the production line from the turntable via the filling station to the closing unit;
6 likewise in a view from above and
7 shows the bottle neck, once open and once with a seal.
According to the overall representation according to FIG. 1, a turntable or turntable 1, which is called a so-called.
Rotary rotor is designed, provided. This is mounted on a base plate 2 so as to be rotatable about a central axis and has receptacles 3 on its periphery at regular intervals for the bottle tops 4 and bottle bottoms 5 which can be expanded to form a bottle 6. The receptacles 3 are normally cup-shaped and therefore have a circular cross-section.
Notwithstanding, however, depending on the preferred bottle shape, z. B. oval or polygonal cross-sectional shapes can be used. For this purpose, the receptacles 3, which can be introduced into bores 7 of the turntable or of the turntable 1, are exchangeable. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the receptacle 3a has a square cross-section for receiving a correspondingly square-shaped bottle body.
In the area of the turntable, on vertical columns 8 and 9 attached to the device frame, automatic dispensers 10 and 11 rest on which stacks 12 and 13 with the bottle bottoms 5 and bottle tops 4 are placed. At least three centering rods 14 and 15 each ensure that the individual bottle parts are stacked properly.
The welding device 16 for the connection of the bottle top 4 and bottle bottom 5 is also attached to the base plate 2. The welding is expediently carried out by means of a sonotrode 17 if the connection is made by ultrasound. Furthermore, to complete the device unit, a stamp-shaped ejector 18 is provided, which works vertically through the bore 7 and is activated by a pneumatically operated cylinder 19.
The production process for the device unit described above is carried out according to the following individual processes:
A toothed ring 22 and thus the turntable or turntable 1 firmly connected to it is moved rhythmically in the direction of arrow 21, at a distance from one receptacle 3 to the other, successively by a pneumatically actuated or another equivalent drive 20. A toothed belt 23 placed around part of the toothed ring 22 engages around and simultaneously rotates in the direction of the arrow 26 gears 24 and 25, which in turn actuate the automatic dispensers 10, 11 for the bottle bottoms 5 and the bottle tops 4 by means of transmission gears.
Thus, after each work cycle, a lower bottle part 5 falls in the intended sequence, and then an upper bottle part 4 on top of this falls into the receptacle 3.
During the brief stop of the turntable or
of the turntable 1, the welding device 16 also comes into action and connects the bottle bottoms 4 and bottle tops 5 lying on top of one another to form a complete bottle 6, while in the downstream station the stamp-shaped ejector 18, the drive cylinder of which is switched synchronously with the drive 20 for the turntable 1, which ejects finished bottle 6 and transfers it to an inclined discharge channel 27 for further transport.
This cycle is set up in such a way that the individual units, i.e. those for feeding in the bottle parts, for closing and ejecting the finished bottle, come into action with each work cycle.
A toothed belt tensioner 28, which can be adjusted or readjusted at any time and which engages the toothed belt 23 via a tensioning wheel 29, ensures a trouble-free workflow. Empty stations between the individual work areas allow twice the number of feed devices, welding devices, ejectors and the like to be arranged.
The connection of the upper parts 4 of the bottle and the lower parts 5 of the bottle takes place at the connecting edges 30, 31 protruding outward in the manner of a flange, which are cut out by corresponding punching during the manufacture of the bottle parts. For a sustainable and permanent connection of the welded or connecting edges 30, 31, a groove or a welded bead 32 is preferably formed on the bottom part 5 of the bottle.
In Fig. 5 is shown schematically which path the finished bottle 6 takes as soon as it is ejected from the turntable or the turntable 1. Via the discharge channel 27 (FIG. 1) the bottle 6 arrives upright on a transport or conveyor belt (not shown in the drawing). Several bottles 6 form a buffer station or a buffer zone 33 for reasons of a particularly advantageous production line before they reach the filling station 34, where they are filled.
The filled bottles 6a expediently reach the area of a bottle closure station 35 on the same transport. There, a closure lid 36, preferably made of coated aluminum foil, is placed on the upper bottle neck 37 in a hot-sealed manner.
The aluminum foil 38 is drawn off from a supply roll 39 in the work cycle of the production process, a stamp 40 punches out the closure cap 36 and at the same time presses it firmly onto the open bottle opening 37. The resfoil 38a is wound onto a roll 41. For the purpose of particularly simple removal of the closure cover 37, it is equipped with a tear-off tab 42.
