Fig. 2 einen Schnitt entlang der Linie II-II der Fig. 1,
The invention relates to a device for oil-hydraulic end position damping of a stroke movement, in particular for pneumatic piston cylinders in connection with automatic feed and insertion units, which device has two parts that can move axially against one another.
Fully automatic feeding and loading units are used for the automatic allocation, loading or loading of various relatively smaller workpieces to processing machines, such as. B. presses, switching and turntables, etc. Such feed and insertion units are mostly operated by pneumatic piston cylinders. The dispensing, loading or loading heads are designed as suction or gripping heads, depending on the type of load, which press the workpiece safely and precisely into the tool, etc.
With a fast loading rate, it is important that the items to be loaded cannot be displaced due to pneumatic shocks. Until now, this requirement was secured by pneumatic damping systems. The volume of the air cushion created in a damping device was regulated by an adjustable outlet valve depending on the piston stroke.
Such a known pneumatic damping system is dependent on a constant air pressure. If the compressed air supply fails or the pressure changes, the pneumatic damping system is ineffective or at least does not work reliably.
The invention is based on the object of eliminating this disadvantage and of creating a simple damping device that works reliably under all conditions.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the two parts of the device for end position damping of a stroke movement can be screwed into one another to form an oil space, the end walls of which are provided in each part with circular fitting openings which are provided with a damping piece by a shaft that can be moved back and forth in the partial space are penetrated, which piece has at least one through the same axial bore, and that the inner surface of at least one of the parts is inclined by 2 to 4 degrees, so that the oil chamber tapers conically from the screw-in end to the end wall.
The subject of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawings, for example. Show it:
1 shows a section along the longitudinal axis of a device for end position damping of a lifting movement,
Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-II of Fig. 1,
3 shows a section along the line III-III of FIG. 1, and
4 shows a section along the longitudinal axis of an embodiment of the damping device which is connected on both sides to a long-stroke cylinder, only one side being shown.
1 to 3 show a damping device which consists of two parts 1 and 2 that can be screwed into one another.
When the two parts 1 and 2 are screwed together, they delimit a space 3 which is filled with oil. The oil, which is under an overpressure of 0.3 to 0.5 atmospheres, is fed into the oil chamber 3 through an inlet port 10. The inner surfaces la, 2a of the two parts that form the oil chamber 3
1 and 2 are inclined by 2 to 4 degrees, so that the oil chamber 3 tapers conically from the screw-in ends 1c, 2c to the end walls Ib, 2b of the two parts 1, 2. By gradually screwing in or unscrewing the two parts 1 and 2, the volume of the oil chamber 3 can be changed depending on the piston stroke.
A circular sealing ring 8 closes off the space between the two parts 1 and 2. The part 2 is fixed in the desired position by a locking screw 6.
In the oil chamber 3, a shaft 4 with a damping piece 5, one end part of which is screwed into the threaded hole 9 of a piston rod 7 via an articulated coupling, is guided back and forth by the movement of the piston rod 7. The end parts of the shaft 4 pass through fitting openings 1d, 2d of the two end walls 1b, 2b.
The fitting openings ld, 2d in the end walls lb, 2b are sealed against the oil seeping through from the oil chamber 3 by means of ring seals 18, 11. A joint coupling part 19 mounted in the shaft 4 is provided with a threaded hole 21 into which a screw 22 can be screwed. The oil chamber 3 is connected to an oil compensation unit 24 by means of connecting channels 23. This unit 24 is screwed to part 1 and provided with a check valve with ball 25.
The damping piece 5 is designed as a disk with two side edges 13 extending radially from its circumferential surface 12. An axial bore 20 is penetrated transversely through the damping piece 5. On the circumferential surface 12 there is a radially drilled inlet opening 14 which is in connection with a return channel 15 drilled axially through the damping piece 5. The outlet openings 16 (FIG. 3) of the return channel 15 lying on the opposite end faces of the damping piece 5 are each provided with a check valve with a leaf spring 17.
In the end positions of the damping element 5 in the oil chamber 3, its side edges 13 rest against the inner surfaces 1c, 2c of the two parts 1, 2, so that oil can only flow from one half of the oil chamber 3 into the other half through the axial bore 20. This dampens the movement of the piston rod 7 in its end position. In order to prevent the suction effect during the return movement of the piston rod 7, the oil on the circumferential surface 12 of the damping piece is fed into the inlet opening 14 and guided through the return channel 15 into the outlet opening 16 opposite the direction of movement of the piston rod 7 (Fig. 3). The leaf spring 17 of the check valve is then lifted off by the pressure force of the oil and the oil reaches the other half of the oil chamber 3.
The oil compensation unit 24, the piston 26 of which is under spring pressure, serves to balance the oil volume when the two parts 1, 2 are screwed in or unscrewed in stages.
The embodiment according to FIG. 4 is suitable for long-stroke cylinders, the damping device being connected on both sides of the long-stroke cylinder. In this embodiment, the piston rod 30 runs through the cavity 36 of the shaft 34 penetrating the fitting openings 31a, 32a of the end walls 31b, 32b and is provided with a stop 40 located outside the damping device.
The part 31 is fixedly mounted on a cylinder (not shown), the part 32 being arranged so that it can be screwed, whereby the oil chamber 33 can be changed depending on the piston stroke. When the shoulder 41 of the piston rod 30 hits the shaft 34, the shaft 34 moves to the right (according to FIG. 4). The side edge 45 of the damping piece 35 comes from the position at the screw-in end 32c into the end position on the end wall 32b, where it rests against the inner surface 32d of the part 32. Oil then only has to flow through the axial bore 39 in the damping piece 35 into the other half of the oil chamber 33. The damping effect is additionally increased by a return spring 48 which is supported on the one hand against the damping piece 35 and on the other hand against the recess in the end wall 32b.
The fitting openings 31a, 32a in the end walls 31b, 32b are closed by ring seals 38, 42. The oil compensation unit 44, which is screwed onto the part 31 and connected to the oil chamber 33 by means of connecting channels 43, serves to compensate for the oil volume in the oil chamber 33.
Transversely through the damping piece 35 an axial return channel 37 is passed through, one of the end wall 32b facing the outlet opening 46 is provided with a check valve with a leaf spring 47. As a result, the suction effect is prevented when the shaft 34 moves back.
The damping device described above reliably makes it impossible for the trailer to vibrate or oscillate in the end positions of the pneumatic piston, so that no displacements of the load can occur.
Once the oil has been filled into the system of the damping device, this system remains independent of external effects and is therefore fault-free.
