Description
Fig. 1 eine Ansicht des Übungsgerätes von oben,
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt entlang der Linie II-II in Fig. 1,
Exercise device
The present invention relates to an exercise device for loosening and strengthening the entire body muscles.
The exercise device is expediently designed so that it can be used without installations and in the smallest of spaces; it can be used not only in groups in the gym, but also at home, which enables daily training. The stresses on the joints and muscles that occur here can be exactly the same as those that occur when skiing, which is why the device is also ideal for fitness training in the pre-season skiing season.
The subject matter of the invention is characterized by a body which has a standing surface for the feet of the exercising person, which is at the top in the position of use, and a centrally arranged floor support at the bottom, such that the periphery of the body can be rolled on the floor.
The person using the exercise device can put their feet on the standing surfaces and then, by shifting their weight from one leg to the other, roll the body on its periphery on the floor. Body movements are carried out that largely correspond to the body movements that have to be carried out when skiing, especially when waving.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the floor support is carried by an insertion part that can be pushed into a central opening on the underside of the body.
This makes it possible to use plug-in parts of different lengths, so that the intensity of the training can be increased. A relatively short plug-in part can therefore be used at the beginning of the training, and then later switch to longer plug-in parts.
According to a further embodiment of the exercise device, the body is disk-shaped. This design together with the use of the push-in plug-in part described has the advantage that the exercise device takes up little space after use. According to a further embodiment of the invention, the standing surfaces for the feet are designed as depressions in the body. This enables a safe stand.
Finally, one embodiment of the invention provides that handles are provided approximately at right angles to the standing surfaces for the feet. The exercise device can therefore also be used to strengthen the arm and chest muscles.
An embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the drawing. It shows:
Fig. 1 is a view of the exercise device from above,
Fig. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in Fig. 1,
3 shows the use of the exercise device as a simulator for skiing,
4 shows the use of the exercise device as a general gymnastics device.
The exercise device consists essentially of a disk-shaped body 1 with a hub 2, into the bore 3 of which a plug-in part 4 can be inserted. The plug-in part 4 advantageously consists of a tube 5 which carries the floor support 6 at one end, which z. B. consists of a cap made of plastic.
The disk-shaped body 1 advantageously has a reinforcement on its periphery 10. The standing surfaces 11 and 12 are arranged as depressions in the body 1. Their training is such that they ensure anti-slip protection. The surface of the standing areas 11, 12 can thus have a waffle pattern or be provided with an anti-skid coating. So that waving can also be practiced with the feet closed, in addition to the standing surfaces 11 and 12 on the periphery of the body, two further standing surfaces 11 'and 12' are provided at the center of the body. To reinforce the body 1, radial ribs 13 are provided in the present exemplary embodiment, which extend from the hub 2 to the periphery 10.
The body 1 advantageously consists of a single pressed plastic part. Since the plug-in part 6 can be removed from the hub 2 after use, the exercise device requires very little space for storage after use and can also be easily packed and transported.
In the embodiment shown, handles 16 are also provided for the feet at approximately right angles to the standing surfaces 11 and 12. These handles 16 are formed by a U-shaped web in the body 1, openings 17 and 18 being provided for the fingers on both sides of the web. This design of the handles does not increase the space required for the exercise device and no special parts are required for the handles.
The use of the exercise device as a preparatory training for skiing is shown in FIG. In contrast, FIG. 4 shows the use of the device as a gymnastics device for push-up exercises. In addition, there are other possible uses such as B. sitting exercises conceivable.
