Fig. 1 ist ein vertikaler Schnitt nach der Linie 1-l in Fig. 2 durch eine unter Flur montierte Anschlussvorrichtung;
Underfloor connection device for electrical lines
The present invention relates to an underfloor connection device for electrical lines, with a height-adjustable frame, a cover detachably arranged on the frame and with electrical connection means arranged within the space bounded by the frame.
The object of the invention is to design an underfloor connection device of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be installed relatively easily, has relatively small height dimensions and enables cables to be connected to above-floor devices without protruding beyond the surface of the floor.
This object is achieved with the underfloor connection device according to the invention in that the frame is an upper part of a tub which can be adjusted telescopically in the height direction and which has a base and vertically protruding walls, at least one of which has an opening for the passage of electrical lines of an underfloor cable duct is provided that the electrical connection means in the tub fastened connection sockets and / or terminals and at least one socket, which is arranged for inserting a plug in at least approximately horizontal direction, and that the frame has at least one open-topped insertion for cables to be connected to above floor Has apparatus, which insert bushing has upper edges lying in the plane of the top of the lid.
Further details, features and advantages of an exemplary embodiment of the underfloor connection device emerge from the description that follows and the associated drawing, which illustrates the invention purely by way of example.
Fig. 1 is a vertical section along the line 1-1 in Fig. 2 through a connection device mounted under the floor;
Fig. 2 shows a plan view of the connection device with the cover removed.
The connection device shown has a trough 10 with a square bottom 11 and four walls 12 protruding vertically. The tub 10 is intended to be placed directly on a raw concrete floor 13. The walls 12 each have, at least in part, an opening 14 into which the ends of underfloor cable ducts 15 can be introduced, as indicated in the drawing with dash-dotted lines. A frame 16 engaging in the tub 10 forms an upper part which can be adjusted telescopically in the height direction. In each corner of the frame 16 a vertically extending Ge threaded spindle 17 is rotatable, but axially immovable.
The threaded spindles 17 each engage in a nut sleeve 18 which is arranged in a stationary manner on the floor 11 in the interior of the tub 10. By turning the threaded spindles 17 with the aid of a screwdriver, the height of the frame 16 can be adjusted and aligned in such a way that the upper edge of the frame is exactly in the horizontal.
Within the tub 10, a plurality of junction boxes 20 known per se are fastened on the floor 11, each of which contains a plurality of connection terminals for telephone and possibly other low-voltage lines. Also on the floor 11 is a leg of an angle piece 21 (Fig. 1) is attached, the other leg protrudes approximately vertically upwards. The horizontal leg of the elbow 21 carries a number of connection terminals 22 (Fig.
2) for power lines, whereas two electrical sockets 23, which are connected to the connection terminals 22, are let into the upstanding leg of the elbow 21. The sockets 23 are in a position that allow the insertion of electrical plugs 24 in an approximately horizontal direction. An angular cover 25 is detachably arranged on the angle piece 21 over the connection terminals 22 and the sockets 23.
The connection means for telephone and low voltage on the one hand and for high voltage on the other hand are thus spatially separated from one another.
Three sides of the frame 16 are each provided with an insertion passage 30, open at the top, for cables 31 and 32 to be connected to and led out of the tub 10 to above-floor devices. According to FIG. 2, the cables 31 are connected to connecting terminals in the connection sockets 20, whereas the cables 2 are each connected to a plug 24 which is detachably plugged into one of the sockets 23.
The three insertion bushings 30 are all of the same design and each have a support plate 33 for the cables 31 and 32 that extends obliquely inwards and downwards from the relevant upper edge of the frame 16 against the tub 10. From the support plate 33, three parallel, spaced-apart ribs 34 protrude upwards, which in pairs delimit an intermediate channel for one of the cables 31 and 32 and extend upwards to a horizontal plane that corresponds to the top of the floor to be created should match.
In the example shown, the support plate 33 of each insertion duct 30 has three ribs 34, so that two cables 31 and / or 32 can be inserted into the channels in between. The support plate 33 and the ribs 34 of each insertion bushing together form a one-piece component, preferably made of insulating material, which is releasably inserted into a suitable seat 35 on the frame 16 and fastened by screws 36. Furthermore, an axially slotted sealing grommet 37 made of rubber or similar elastically flexible material is detachably inserted between each two ribs 34. The cables 31 and 32 are each inserted into one of these sealing grommets 37.
A hinged, removable cover 40 is arranged on the frame 16 and in the area of the insertion passages 30 each has an edge cutout for the cables 31 and 32 to be led out through. The fourth edge of the frame 16, which is not provided with an insertion passage 30, carries a pair of inwardly projecting tabs 41, each of which has a T-shaped recess 42. The corresponding edge of the lid 40 has on the underside of the lid two arched bolts 43, each of which is widened at its free end by two lateral projections 44, of which only one is visible in Fig. 1. The lateral projections 44 are through the transverse leg part of the T-shaped recesses 42 can be passed through, while the bolts 43 are located in the center leg portion of the recesses 42.
The curved bolts 43 allow the lid 40 to be pivoted on the frame 16, the lateral projections 44 on the end sections of the bolts 43 in cooperation with the tabs 41 limiting the opening movement of the lid 40 and preventing the lid from being accidentally separated from the frame 16. The cover 40 is provided at the top with a piece of floor covering 45, the top side of which lies in the same plane as the upper edges of the ribs 34 of the insertion bushings 30.
The frame 16 is finally provided with a few threaded bores 46 (FIG. 2) which are located below the cover 40 in the closed position of the cover. With the cover 40 removed, the threaded bores 46 allow a temporary protective cover to be fastened in the frame 16 by means of screws during the installation of the underfloor connection device described. The mentioned protective cover can expediently consist of a simple square metal plate.
The underfloor connection device described can be installed and used, for example, as follows:
The tub 10 is placed on the raw concrete floor 13 and connected to further underfloor connection devices through the underfloor ducts 15, which are also placed on the raw concrete floor 13. Then the frame 16 is set by rotating the threaded spindles 17 in the correct height and in the horizontal position, which z. B. can be done with the help of a theodolite and a spirit level. The upper edge of the frame 16 should be at the height reduced by the thickness of the floor covering 50 to be applied last.
Afterwards, the already mentioned temporary cover (not shown) is placed on the frame 16 and fastened with the aid of screws to be inserted into the bores 46 so that no foreign bodies can get into the interior of the tub 10 during the further construction work. Then the
Raw concrete floor 13 and the ducts 15 a further concrete coating 51, called screed in technical language, applied up to the level of the upper edge of the frame 16.
After this concrete coating 51 has hardened, the floor covering 50, for example a fitted carpet, is laid over it. The floor covering 50 is cut to size in the area of the frame 16 in accordance with the outer contour of the cover 16 to be attached later. The temporary cover can then be removed and the electrical lines drawn into the line ducts and connected to the connection terminals 22 or the connection sockets 20. The insert bushings 30 are then inserted into the seats 35 of the frame 16 provided for this purpose, the floor covering 50 being cut out as far as necessary in the region of the bushings 30. The upper side of the floor covering 50 is then at least approximately in the same horizontal plane as the upper edge of the ribs 34 and the highest point of the support plate 33 of the insertion ducts.
Finally, the cover 40 is attached by inserting its curved bolts 43 into the recesses 42 of the frame 16. The covering 45 of the cover 40 is expediently made of the same material as the floor covering 50.
To connect the cables 31 and 32, the cover 40 can be opened at an angle of slightly more than 90 degrees. One of the sealing grommets 37 is placed around each cable 31 and 32 and is then inserted into the insertion bushing 30 assigned to the cable, as FIGS. 1 and 2 show. Finally, the cover 40 is folded into its closed horizontal position. To secure the cover 40 in the closed position, at least one spring finger (not shown) or the like can be present on its underside, which engages with a part of the frame 16 or one of the inlets 30.
The underfloor connection device described has the advantage that it can be installed relatively easily and conveniently. Another not insignificant advantage is that the overall height dimension of the connection device is small in comparison to known designs, which allows the layer thickness of the concrete coating 51 to be kept relatively small.
Another advantage can be seen in the fact that apart from the exiting cables 31 and 32, no parts of the connection device rise above the surface of the floor covering 50. The middle rib 34 of the insertion bushings 30 makes it easier to roll over the bushings 30 and helps to avoid accidents and to reduce the risk of shoe heels getting stuck in the bushings. The cover 40 can be opened quickly by hand at any time in order to immediately connect the plug 24 of the power cable 32 with z. B. to pull 220 V voltage from the sockets 23 can. The sealing grommets 37 make it difficult for dirt and dust to enter the interior of the tub 10 and also give the cables 31 and 32 a certain hold, so that tensile stress on the cables is less pronounced on the connection terminals or
the connector inside the tub 10 affects. The connections of the incoming cables 31 and 32 can easily be changed at any time and adapted to the respective needs.
