Method for unloading pallets and device for carrying out the method The invention relates to a method for unloading pallets stacked with box columns, in which rows of columns are pushed off a filled pallet transversely to the longitudinal direction of the column rows and then each column row is dismantled and the boxes are then conveyed away.
Furthermore, an apparatus for performing the above method is indicated below.
There are already methods of the type mentioned and devices for their implementation are known in which individual rows of columns wegbe moved away from a pallet and then each dismantled for themselves. These known methods u. Devices have proven themselves in practical operation, but the number of pallets that can be emptied per unit of time is limited. However, the requirements for the Entladegeschwindig speed when depalletizing and the requirements for the throughput of depalletizing systems are increasing significantly and can no longer be mastered by the previously known methods and systems.
Although attempts can be made in the known systems to increase the speed of the movement and thus the stacking speed, such an increase is very soon set a limit beyond which the systems no longer work reliably and fail so often that reliable operation is no longer possible.
The invention is based on the object to provide a method for unloading pallets and a device for carrying out the method, which are simple and reliable and guarantee a high throughput and particularly economical operation and allow automation.
According to the invention, this object is achieved for a method of the type explained at the outset in that at least two columns running parallel to one another, after they have been pushed off the pallet transversely to the longitudinal direction of the columns, are transported to a corresponding number of adjacent dismantling sites and there simultaneously be dismantled. and that the boxes dismantled on the individual dismantling sites are simultaneously conveyed away on tracks running next to each other.
In the plating process according to the invention, at least two rows of columns running next to one another are pushed off a pallet at the same time. At least two rows of columns running next to each other are removed from the pallet, e.g. separated from each other and at the same time fed to several construction sites arranged next to each other, where they are dismantled simultaneously. With this method, the unloading process of pallets can be shortened to a fraction of the time previously required compared to the previously known methods. The operating speed of the systems used for depalletizing can be kept the same or even lower than with the systems previously used.
The depalletizing process according to the invention therefore enables safe, trouble-free work and ensures great economy and high depalletizing performance.
Advantageously, the depalletizing process explained above can be designed so that the dismantling of the parallel rows of columns in the adjacent dismantling sites takes place simultaneously in multi-column denesting processes, for example in the duplex, triplex, quadruplex process and that the dismantled boxes then be conveyed away simultaneously on tracks running next to each other. In this way, the rows of columns arranged side by side can be built directly into a box and are not first separated into individual columns, which are then dismantled individually.
A favorable embodiment of the depalletizing process according to the invention can also be achieved in that the rows of columns are laterally spaced apart from one another after they have been pushed down from the pallet transversely to their longitudinal direction and that a number of the isolated and spaced apart rows is spaced apart Rows of columns brought into a position aligned with the dismantling sites and then transported at the same time in a direction of movement in each of their longitudinal direction in the adjacent dismantling sites.
The lateral spacing of the individual rows of columns after they have been pushed off the pallet ensures that when several rows of columns are subsequently dismantled at the same time, the adjacent row of columns does not interfere with the dismantling of a row of columns and that the handling of the columns in the individual rows of columns chen box is facilitated.
The inventive device for the implementation of the method according to the invention, with adjoining conveyor tracks for feeding the box columns, for holding and transporting the box columns in the dismantling site and for transporting the boxes away, is characterized in that the device at least two side-by-side feed tracks for box columns, a number of conveyor tracks running next to one another in the dismantling site corresponding to the number of feed tracks and an equal number of discharge conveyor tracks for boxes running next to one another, and that the device has a number of feeder tracks corresponding to the number of feed tracks or multi-column destackers,
which are arranged side by side and are set up for simultaneous operation.
In this device, several column rubbers to be dismantled are fed side by side on side by side running conveyor paths several side by side angeordne th unstacking points and processed there at the same time. The removal also takes place simultaneously on several conveyor paths running next to one another. The device can be designed as a single or multi-column destacking device, in particular as a simplex or duplex or triplex or quadruplex destacker.
The device can advantageously be designed in such a way that the one-column or multi-column denester arranged side by side are each designed to remove the same number of columns. This training is particularly suitable for the unloading of pallets on which stack blocks are formed from interconnected pond large boxes. which consist of rows of columns that are arranged in the same way as one another.
However, it is also possible to design the device in such a way that rows of multiple columns with different numbers of columns and box sizes are dismantled at the individual unstacking points.
The device can advantageously be equipped with a support structure, at least one carriage arranged to be movable up and down in the support structure, the movement steps of the carriage being controllable during its up and down movement by means of a control device, and with grippers movably attached to the carriage for Detection of the box on two opposite sides for raising and lowering the box and designed so that a carriage is provided for the common raising and lowering of the boxes of all conveyor tracks running next to one another, and that the carriage is one of the number of conveyor tracks running next to one another Has a number of gripper systems with grippers for gripping the boxes arranged on the conveyor tracks running next to one another from two sides each,
Each gripper system is provided separately for dismantling a row of columns. In this embodiment of the device, a common main drive and common electrical and hydraulic controls can be used for all unstacking devices assigned to the individual box transport paths running next to one another. The result is a very simple and robust structure.
A favorable embodiment of the device is e.g. also given by the fact that the feed conveyor tracks running next to one another are individually driven and can optionally be jointly started and switched off or also started and switched off individually by means of a control device. In this way it is possible, if necessary, the supply v. To stop rows of columns on one or more of the juxtaposed feed tracks to the device. When one or more feed tracks are stopped, the corresponding unstacking devices of the device either work empty or they can also be switched off.
With the method described and the devices geschil made, if desired, pallets can be unloaded simultaneously with boxes of different sizes or with boxes that are either the same or different sizes, but have different contents. Each box size or box type with specific content can be assigned its own feed conveyor. The different boxes can then be unstacked simultaneously on trolleys running next to each other and then dismantled from a common pallet. Another advantage here is that when unloading pallets on which boxes of different sizes or different contents are stacked, separation into boxes of the same type on transport routes running next to one another is possible.
The method according to the invention and the devices described are thus not only much more economical and powerful than those previously known, but they also open up completely new application possibilities. In the following embodiments of the inven tion will be described in conjunction with the drawing.
1 to 6 show the unloading of a pallet filled with three rows of columns each consisting of three columns by means of a first embodiment of the depalletizing process in six successive process phases, FIGS. 7 to 12 show the unloading of a row of columns each with three columns filled pallet by means of a second embodiment of the depalletizing process in six successive process phases,
13 and 14 show the unloading of two pallets filled with three rows of columns each using a third embodiment of the depalletizing process in two successive process phases, FIG. 15 is a perspective schematic representation of a device for carrying out the process for the simultaneous dismantling of two rows of columns arranged next to one another, FIG. 16 a view of an exemplary embodiment of the device according to FIG. 15 viewed in the longitudinal direction of the rows of columns, in vertical section, FIG. 17 a plan view of the device according to FIG. 16.
1 to 6 show a first embodiment of a depalletizing process in six process phases. The method is used for depalletizing pallets with the dimensions 1 X 1.2 m, which are lenblocks with column blocks of the formation 3 X 3, i.e. three rows of columns are loaded with three box columns each. The pallets are fed transversely to their longitudinal direction in the direction of arrow 19 of the depalletizing system. The deck boards of the pallet run transversely to their transport direction in the longitudinal axis of the pallet. The system shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 has a destacking device 20 with two triplex destackers 21 and 22 (FIG. 2) which are arranged next to one another and which simultaneously dismantle two rows of columns with three columns each.
In front of the unstacking device 20, two feed tracks 23 and 24 are arranged, which transversely to their longitudinal direction from a first end position i'-k 'or g'-h', aligned with the respectively assigned triplex destackers 21 and 22, in the between there is a lateral distance between the feed conveyor tracks 23 and 24, can be moved back and forth into a second end position ik or gh, in which second end position the feed conveyor tracks are laterally close to one another and abut against a waiting station cdef and form a displacement surface with this. The waiting station 25 can for its part be moved back and forth between a position c d e f lying close to the pallet to be unloaded and a position c 'd' e 'f' which is spaced apart from the pallet.
On the output side of the tandem unstacking device 20, two discharge tracks 26 and 27 running next to one another are provided, on which the boxes are discharged simultaneously.
In Fig. 1, a first phase of the depalletizing process is shown. A loaded with empty box ne pallet arrives in the direction of arrow 19 in the pallet system in the unloading position a b. The movable waiting station 25 is pushed close to the pallet P 1 together with the two feed tracks 23 and 24 designed as column roller tracks.
A pusher 28 of a shifting device arranged in the area of the depalletizing station is moved from its starting position 0 to starting position 1 and therefore pushes the column block ABC away from the pallet P., whereby the column row C on the waiting station 25 and the column rows A and B pushed onto the feed column roller conveyors 23 and 24 who the.
In Fig. 2 the subsequent process phase is shown. The feed tracks 23 and 24 and the waiting station 25 have been moved away from the pallet P4. The waiting station 25, together with the row of columns C, has separated from the pallet P4 by resetting, so that a new pallet with rows of columns D E F can move unhindered into the depalletizing position a b for depalletizing. The feed conveyor tracks 23 and 24 with the rows of columns A and B located on them have been moved in readiness in front of the tandem unstacking device 21 and 22.
The feed tracks 23 and 24 are at a distance from one another, so that the rows of columns A and B are separated.
A further process phase is shown in FIG. 3. After the row of columns A and B have entered the tandem unstacking device, the feed tracks 23 and 24 are automatically moved close to each other in their second end positions i-k and g-h close to the waiting station c d e f, which in turn is moved close to a new loaded pallet. The slide of the sliding device, which was previously moved back to the starting position 0, pushes the column block D E F together with the column row C to the front until position 2, where the column row F now remains on the pallet.
4 again shows the automatic separation and provision of the rows of columns pushed off the pallet, in the present case the rows of columns C, D, E, from the row of columns F remaining on the pallet. The row of columns E remains on the waiting station 25 in the waiting position c ' d 'e' f '. The two rows of columns C and D are ready for entry on the feed tracks 23 and 24 in the positions i'-k 'and g'-h' in front of the tandem unstacking device.
From Fig. 5 it can be seen that after the rows of columns C and D have entered the tandem unstacking device and the column roller conveyors 23 and 24 together with the waiting station 25 have again moved close to the pallet, the slide of the sliding device from position 2 is moved to position 3 while the remaining two rows of columns E and F directly on the two transversely movable column roller conveyors 23 and 24, which are in the positions ik and gh, ver pushes.
FIG. 6 again shows the automatic separation and preparation of the rows of columns E F for entry into the tandem unstacking device. The waiting station 25 has moved back from the pallet in position c 'd' e 'f', and the slide of the sliding device has also moved back into the starting position 0. The empty pallet has meanwhile been transported away from the palletizer and when another empty pallet with rows of columns A B C enters position a b, the program sequence starts again from the beginning with the process phase shown in FIG.
In FIGS. 7 to 12, a second exemplary embodiment of a de-stacking method according to the invention is shown. As far as the parts of the system recognizable in FIGS. 7 to 12 coincide with parts of the system shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the same reference numerals are used. There will be no further discussion of these parts. In the system according to FIGS. 7 to 12, instead of a narrow waiting station 25 that accepts only one row of columns, a wider waiting station 29 that accepts at least two rows of columns is provided. The waiting station 29 can be moved back and forth between a position c d e f lying close to the pallet to be unloaded and a position c 'd' e 'f' which is removed from the pallet.
As can be seen in FIG. 7, in a first process phase a pallet p7 loaded with empties arrives in the direction of arrow 19 in the pallet unloader at place a-b. A waiting station 29 moves together with the two laterally movable column roller conveyors 23 and 24 up to the pallet in the positions c d e f or g-h or i-k.
A sliding device originally in position 0 pushes the column block with the column rows A B C on the pallet from the pallet P; away until the column row C is on the waiting station 29 and the column rows A and B come to stand directly on the column roller conveyors 23 and 24 (slide position at 1). In Fig. 8, the automatic separation and ready position of the rows of columns A, B, C is shown. The waiting station 29 has separated from the pallet P ,, by moving back and is in the position c 'd' e 'f', so that a new pallet P, with rows of columns D, E, F for depalletizing in the unhindered Can drive in place.
Together with the waiting station 29, the two feed column roller conveyors have also moved into their other end positions g'-h 'and i'-k' in readiness in front of the tandem unstacking device 20. The rows of columns A and B were separated from one another.
From Fig. 9 it can be seen that the column roller conveyors 23 and 24, after the column rows A. And B have entered the tandem unstacking device 20, automatically in their other end positions gh or ik together with the waiting station 29 close to the existing one Pallet P, are approached. The slide of the sliding device, which was previously moved back to the starting position 0, pushes the column block with the columns D, E, F together with the column row C forward. The rows of columns C and D arrive at the feed tracks 23 and 24. The slide remains in position 2.
Fig. 10 shows the automatic separation and provision of the rows of columns C and D from the rows of columns E and F. The rows of columns E and F remain in the waiting station in the waiting position c 'd' e 'f'. The two rows of columns C and D are ready to enter the feed tracks 23 and 24 in the positions i'-k 'and g'-h'.
The next phase of the method is shown in FIG. After the two rows of columns C and D have entered the tandem unstacking device and the column roller conveyors 23 and 24 have moved close together with the waiting station, the pusher pushes the remaining two rows of columns E and F from position 2 to position 3 directly the two transversely movable column roller conveyors 23 and 24, which are in their positions ik and gh.
Fig. 12 shows the automatic separation and ready position of the rows of columns E and F for entry into the tandem unstacking device. The waiting station has moved back into position c'-d'-e'-f 'from the pallet P 1, and the slide of the displacement device has also moved back into the starting position 0. The empty pallet is transported away from the depalletizing device and when a further loaded empty pallet with rows of columns A, B C enters the place a-b, the program sequence starts again from the beginning with the process phase shown in FIG.
13 and 14 shows a third game of the depalletizing process according to the invention. Insofar as the parts of this system correspond to parts of the systems described above, the same reference numerals are used. These parts are not discussed. The system according to FIGS. 13 and 14 is used to unload pallets with the dimensions 0.8 X 1 m, which are fed to the system in their longitudinal direction and have cover boards running in the longitudinal direction. Between the pallet tenabstellplatz abcd and the feed tracks 23 and 24 of the tandem unstacking device 20, a waiting station 30 is switched on, which can be pushed back and forth between a position cdef on the pallet P ,, to be unloaded and a position cfgh on the feed tracks .
As can be seen from Fig. 13, the pallet P3 loaded with box columns arrives in the direction of arrow 31 on the place a b c d of the pallet unloading device. A slide 32 of a first displacement device, which is ready at position 0, pushes the column block with the rows of columns A and B onto the waiting station 30 in position c d e t. The waiting station 30 always changes in the work cycle from position c d e f to position c f g h. After the pillar block has been pushed over, the waiting station moves together with the pillar block to position c f g h. Subsequently, a pusher 33, coming from position S ", pushes the column block A, B directly onto the two feed column rollers 23 and 24, which are located close to one another and directly adjoining the waiting station, which are in positions 1-m and i-k.
The slide 33 moves into position S1.
A second process phase of this depalletizing process can be seen from FIG. 14. In this phase, the rows of columns A and B are automatically separated from one another by moving the feed tracks 23 and 24 into their other distortions 1'-m 'and i'-k' and made available in front of the tandem unstacking device 20. In the meantime, the slides 33 and 32 of the two displacement devices have moved back to their starting positions S ″ and 0, respectively, and the waiting station 30 has also returned to its starting position cdef. Thus, a new one can already be moved into position abcd for depalletizing in the device Pallet of the box block are pushed over by slide 32 and the program sequence starts again from the beginning.
The procedure discussed above can also be carried out with a system according to FIGS. 7 to 12. In principle, the waiting station designated by the reference numeral 29 in FIGS. 7 to 12, which is only slightly transversely displaceable there, can be transversely displaced by a greater amount in the same way as the waiting station of the system according to FIGS 7 to 12 can alternately be used for depalletizing large transverse pallets (e.g. column block formation 3 X 3) or lengthwise small pallets (e.g. column block formation 2 X 3). A slide analogous to slide 32 in FIG. 13 is also to be provided.
When depalletizing large transverse pallets, the waiting station is only moved back and forth transversely and the slide analogous to the slide 32 shown in FIG. 13 is to be deactivated in a suitable manner. When processing small longitudinal pallets, the waiting station is then shifted back and forth transversely by a larger amount and moved over the area a b c d of the palletizing track (see FIGS. 7 to 12) and a slide analogous to slide 32 in FIG. 13 is brought into operation.
In FIG. 15, the structure of an unstacking device is shown schematically, which is suitable for carrying out the depalletizing process explained above. The device has two side-by-side guide tracks 34 and 35 for rows of columns. Furthermore, the device has two conveyor tracks 36 and 37 which run next to one another and adjoin the discharge tracks and are designed as chain conveyors. These chain conveyors are arranged inside a carrying device 38.
The two chain conveyors 36 and 37 are adjoined by two feed conveyor tracks running next to one another, which are not shown in FIG. 15 for reasons of clarity. The feed conveyor tracks, like the discharge conveyor tracks, can be designed as roller conveyor tracks. A slide 39 is arranged in the supporting frame so that it can be moved up and down. The Schlit th is raised or lowered by means of a lifting and lowering device.
The slide 39 has three vertically upstanding frame parts, one of which runs laterally outside each of the two conveyor tracks 36 and 37 and the third frame part runs between the two conveyor tracks 36 and 37. Grippers, which are not shown in FIG. 15 for reasons of clarity, are attached to all three frame parts.
The grippers can be moved by means of actuating devices, which are likewise not shown. The grippers are arranged in such a way that they can grasp and lower three boxes standing one behind the other on each conveyor track 36 or 37 at the same time from both sides. This means that three box columns can be dismantled at the same time on each of the two adjacent conveyor tracks. The device according to the invention thus has two triplex destackers arranged next to one another. The individual movements of the device shown in Fig. 15 Vorrich are controlled by means of a number of switch sensors of an electrical control device. The two chain conveyor tracks 36 and 37 are driven by a common drive 45.
The arrangement of the switch sensor is not shown in Fig. 15 for reasons of clarity.
The discharge conveyor tracks 34 and 35 of the device according to FIG. 15 can advantageously be driven separately and optionally also be stopped individually. In this way, it is possible to optionally supply lenreihen on both tracks at the same time column rows of the device and lead ERS boxes or only supply on a row of columns and remove boxes. The ability to shut down the Abführbah NEN individually, for example, allows a box jam on one of the Abführbah to quickly dismantle or to process only boxes of a certain quality, if different boxes are transported on the two Abführförderbahnen.
In FIG. 15, the removal of two rows of boxes on the two conveyor tracks lying next to one another and the supply of two rows of triplex columns arranged next to one another to the device is shown schematically by dashed lines.
16 and 17, a vertical section front view or top view of an embodiment for a structural design of the device according to FIG. 15 is shown. In FIGS. 16 and 17, the chain conveyors 36 and 37 and the carriage 39 can be seen. The grippers 46 for gripping the boxes 47 are also shown. The clamping frames 48 and 49 and the grippers 46 can be moved laterally towards the box 47 or away from the box 47 by means of lever mechanisms. Each of the two rows of boxes arranged next to one another is assigned a clamping plate 48 and a clamping plate 49. Each clamping plate 48 is taken by a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder-piston unit 50 actuated.
The two clamping plates 49 arranged between the two rows of boxes are actuated by a common cylinder-piston unit 51. The cylinder piston units 50 and 51 can be controlled by a Steuervor direction so that they carry out their work steps in unison. With the device according to FIG. 16, two rows of columns with three columns each can be unstacked at the same time.
In the device according to Figures 15 to 17 the entire sequence of movements, e.g. the switching on and off of the drives of the conveyor tracks, the raising and lowering of the carriages, the actuation of the grippers by means of switch sensors that are actuated by the box, controlled automatically by a control device. Such switch-sensor-controlled controls are known, so a detailed description is not necessary.
In the device according to FIGS. 15 to 17, the movement is controlled in such a way that initially two stacks of box columns coming from a pallet and brought up on adjacent conveyor tracks are fed into the. Device are promoted and then the conveyor tracks are stopped. The grippers 46 of the carriage then take hold of the two rows of boxes, which are located immediately above the bottom row of boxes, each from two sides. Then the slide with the two rows of boxes is raised by an amount that is slightly larger than the box height. The two lowest rows of boxes remain on the conveyor tracks and are then conveyed out of the device onto two adjacent discharge tracks.
The slide is then lowered again and the rows of columns are placed back on the conveyor in the device. The grippers are then released from the box. The carriage is then raised a little and the grippers 46 are then brought to attack the now second lowest row of boxes. The slide is then raised again by an amount that is slightly larger than the height of the box. The two lowest rows of boxes again remain on the conveyors of the device and are then transported out of the device onto the pallets to the discharge conveyors running next to one another. The carriage then lowers again and places the row of columns on the conveyor in the device again.
The grippers 46 are released again and the game begins again. This game is repeated until the two rows of columns located next to each other in the device have been completely dismantled and all boxes have been transferred to the discharge conveyor. The crates are then fed to further treatment points by means of the discharge tracks.
From the above description it can be seen that the depalletizing process can run completely automatically.
In the devices described, not only all conveyor tracks for boxes or Kastensäu len are designed as driven tracks, but also the pallet conveyor tracks for transporting the pallets in and out. The tracks are particularly simple, robust and reliable if they are designed as driven roller tracks. The conveyor tracks can be started or stopped by switching their respective drive on and off. Simple automatic control is possible in this way.
The invention is not restricted to the examples given. For example, instead of two rows of columns arranged side by side, three or four rows of columns can be dismantled at the same time, the number of box columns in each row of columns being the same or different and being more or less than three. By appropriately designing the process, pallets with stacking blocks of very different formation can be stacked.
