Bodenpflegemaschine
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bodenpflegemaschine mit einem Arbeitsgerät und einer Führungsdeichsel mit Handgriff, wobei am Arbeitsgerät eine Sprühdüse für ein Behandlungsmittel angeordnet ist, die über eine Zuleitung mit einem Vorratsbehälter verbunden ist.
Bodenpflegemaschinen der eingangs genannten Art sind bekannt. Sie weisen jedoch eine Reihe von Nachteilen lauf. So muss das Behgandllungsmilttel mit einer im Behälter angeordneten Handpumpe abgezogen und der Düse zugeführt werden. Die Leitung vom Vorratsbehälter bis zur Düse ist verhältnismässig lang und wird nicht von einem Absperrventil unterbrochen. Dadurch kann aus dem System, sei es durch Erwärmung des Behaadlungsmittels nder durch Formänderung der Zu- leitung, ungewollt Behandlungsmittel aus der Düse austreten. Dies wird in der Regel dann der Fall sein, wenn das Ausbringen von Behandlungsmittel unerwünscht ist.
Zweck der Erfindung ist es, eine Bodenpflegemaschine zu schaffen, mit der auf einfache Weise und ohne die Gefahr des ungewollten Tropfens Behandlungsmittel auf den zu behandelnden Boden ausgebracht werden kann.
Die eingangs genannte erfindungsgemässe Bodenpflegemaschine ist hierzu dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Absperrventil unmittelbar vor der Düse in der von dem unter Überdruck stehenden Vorratsbehälter kommenden Zuleitung angeordnet ist.
Durch diese Ausgestaltung der Bodenpflegemaschine wird die Ausbringung des Behandlungsmittels wesentlich vereinfacht, da hier lediglich eine Betätigung des Absperrventils genügt, um das Behandlungsmittel an der Düse zu versprühen. Anderseits wird durch die Anordnung des Absperrventils unmittelbar vor der Düse sichergestellt, dass ein ungewollter Austritt von Behandlungsmittel aus der Düse praktisch behoben ist. Der Weg von der Düsenspitze bis zum Absperrventil ist so kurz, dass sich thermische Einflüsse auf den Behandlungsmittelinhalt dieser Wegstrecke praktisch nicht auswirkt, das heisst an der Düsenöffnung im Falle der Er wärmung praktisch kein Behandlungsmittel austritt.
Anderseits kann dieses Leitungsstück so massiv ausgeführt sein, dass keine Formänderungen im Leitungsstück und damit keine Leckverluste auftreten.
Anhand der Zeichnung wird nachfolgend ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemässen Bodenpflegemaschine näher beschrieben.
Bei der dargestellten Bodenpflegemaschine kann es sich beispielsweise um eine Mehrzweckmaschine handeln, die sich zum Reinigen, Spänen, Schrubben, Wachsen, Shampoonieren, Bohnern, Polieren usw. von Böden eignet. Als Arbeitsgerät weist die Bodenpflegemaschine beispielsweise eine Bohnerbürste 1 auf, die von einem Antrieb 2 betätigt wird. Zum Handhaben der Boden pflegemaschine dient eine Führungsdeichsel 3, die mit einem Handgriff 4 ausgestattet ist, an der auch der Schalter 5 für den Antrieb vorgesehen sein kann.
Diese Bodenpflegemaschine ist mit einem Gerät zum Versprühen von Behandlungsmittel ausgestattet, das eine Düse 6 enthält, die direkt an ein Absperrventil 7 angebaut ist. Dieses Absperrventil sitzt über einen Halter 8, der vorzugsweise federnd ist, am Gehäuse 9 des Arbeitsgerätes. Das Absperrventil ist volrzu,gsweise ein Magnetventil, das über einen am Handgriff 4 angeordneten Druckschalter 10 betätigbar ist.
Das Absperrventil ist über eine Leitung 11 mit einem Vorratsbehälter 12 verbunden, der als Druckbehälter ausgebildet ist. Dieser Vorratsbehälter kann beispielsweise über einen Schnellverschluss 13 an der Führungsdeichsel der Bodenpflegemaschine befestigt sein. Der Vorratsbehälter kann normal mit einer Behandlungsflüssigkeit, beispielsweise Bohnerwachs, gefüllt und anschliessend verschlossen werden. Ein Einlassventil 14 dient zum Einbringen von Druckgas in den frisch gefüllten Vorratsbehälter und ein Überdruck- ventil 15 sorgt dafür, dass sich im Vorratsbehälter kein unzulässiger Druck aufbauen kann. Das Einbringen des Druckgases kann beispielsweise mit herkömmlichen Wegwerfpatronen über das Einlassventil 14 erfolgen.

The line from the storage container to the nozzle is relatively long and is not interrupted by a shut-off valve. As a result, treatment agent can inadvertently escape from the system, be it by heating the treatment agent or by changing the shape of the supply line. This will generally be the case when the application of treatment agent is undesirable.
The purpose of the invention is to create a floor care machine with which treatment agent can be applied to the floor to be treated in a simple manner and without the risk of unwanted drops.
The floor care machine according to the invention mentioned at the outset is characterized in that a shut-off valve is arranged directly in front of the nozzle in the supply line coming from the storage container under excess pressure.
With this configuration of the floor care machine, the application of the treatment agent is considerably simplified, since only one actuation of the shut-off valve is sufficient here to spray the treatment agent at the nozzle. On the other hand, the arrangement of the shut-off valve directly in front of the nozzle ensures that an undesired escape of treatment agent from the nozzle is practically eliminated. The path from the nozzle tip to the shut-off valve is so short that thermal influences have practically no effect on the treatment agent content of this distance, i.e. practically no treatment agent escapes at the nozzle opening if it is heated.
On the other hand, this line section can be made so massive that no changes in shape occur in the line section and thus no leakage losses occur.
An exemplary embodiment of the floor care machine according to the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
The floor care machine shown can be, for example, a multi-purpose machine that is suitable for cleaning, shaving, scrubbing, waxing, shampooing, polishing, polishing, etc. floors. The shut-off valve is connected via a line 11 to a storage container 12, which is designed as a pressure vessel. This storage container can, for example, be attached to the guide shaft of the floor care machine via a quick-release fastener 13. The storage container can normally be filled with a treatment liquid, for example floor wax, and then closed. An inlet valve 14 is used to introduce compressed gas into the freshly filled storage container and an overpressure valve 15 ensures that no impermissible pressure can build up in the storage container. The pressurized gas can be introduced, for example, with conventional disposable cartridges via the inlet valve 14.
