Turngerät zur Ausführung des Schulterstandes
Zwecks Erzielung geistiger und körperlicher Erholung wird heute vielfach die Yoga-Therapie angewendet. Eine der Hauptübungen dieser Therapie ist der Kopfstand, welcher eine Intensivierung der Blutzirkulation und insbesondere eine bessere Durchblutung des Gehirns bewirken soll. Je nach der Konstitution des Ausübenden soll sich die Dauer des Kopfstandes über eine kürzere oder längere Zeitspanne erstrecken, die bis zu einigen Minuten betragen kann. Vielen Personen bereitet aber auch ein nur kurze Zeit dauernder Kopfstand starke Schmerzen der Kopfhaut und der Schädeldecke. Ausserdem wird beim Kopfstand das Genick des Ausübenden stark belastet, wodurch ebenfalls Schmerzen und andere Unannehmlichkeiten verursacht werden können.
Um diese Nachteile zu beheben, wird vorgeschlagen, anstelle des Kopfstandes den Schulterstand auszuführen, welcher die gleiche Wirkung wie der in der Yogapraxis bisher übliche Kopfstand zeitigt.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Turngerät zur Ausführung des Schulterstandes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass es zwei auf einer Grundplatte in einstellbarem Abstand voneinander angeordnete Stützen aufweist, deren obere Enden mit einer Polsterung versehen sind, welche den Schultern des Benützers als Unterlage dienen können.
Die beiden Stützen können auch unabhängig voneinander aufstellbar sein und z. B. die Form eines Quaders, eines Pyramidenstumpfes, eines Pylons aufweisen; sie sind dazu auf der Grundplatte zweckmässig lösbar befestigt.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt.

Das in den Fig. 1 bis 3 dargestellte Turngerät besitzt eine rechteckige Grundplatte 1, auf welche zwei quaderförmige Stützen 2 und 2' zueinander parallel, hochkant stehend, in einstellbarem Abstand voneinander befestigt sind. Die Länge dieser Stützen 2 und 2' entspricht der Breite der Grundplatte 1.
Wie aus der Schnittzeichnung nach der Fig. 2 ersichtlich ist, kann jede der beiden Stützen 2 und 2' aus einem tragfähigen Leichtbaukörper, z. B. einem solchen aus porösem Kunststoff 2a bestehen, welcher an seiner Oberseite eine von vorn nach hinten verlaufende, sich über seine ganze Breite erstreckende Einbuchtung 2b aufweist. Auf die Oberseite des Leichtbaukörpers 2a ist eine aus Schaumgummi oder dergleichen bestehende Polsterung 2c aufgelegt oder aufgeklebt, welche die ganze Oberseite des Leichtbaukörpers 2a überdeckt und dessen Einbuchtung 2b ausfüllt. Der Leichtbaukörper 2a mitsamt seiner Polsterung 2c ist von einem Überzug 2d aus Leder, Kunstleder oder einem anderen Kunststoff umschlossen, welcher, wie in den Fig. 2 dargestellt ist, gegen die Grundplatte 1 zu offen sein kann.
In den untersten Teil des Leichtbaukörpers 2a sind zwei Gewindebüchsen 2e mit Innengewinde eingesetzt, welche für Schrauben 2f, die die Grundplatte 1 durchsetzen und deren Köpfe in der Unterseite der Grundplatte 1 versenkt sind, bestimmt sind, mittels welcher die Stützen 2 und 2' auf der Grundplatte 1 lösbar befestigt werden. Um die beiden Stützen 2 und 2' in einstellbarem Abstand voneinander auf der Grundplatte 1 befestigen zu können, weist diese letztere mindestens auf einem Teil ihrer Länge zwei zu ihren Längsseiten parallele Reihen von Schraubenlöchern la auf.
Die Stützen 2 und 2' sind dazu bestimmt, den Schultern des Benützers des Turngerätes als Unterlage zu dienen und sie werden in solchem Abstand voneinander auf der Grundplatte 1 befestigt, dass der Kopf des Benützers mit Spiel Platz zwischen ihnen findet.
Die Höhe der Stützen 2 und 2' ist so bemessen, dass der Kopf des Benützers frei zwischen ihnen hängen kann und dabei die Grundplatte 1 nicht berührt. Die ganze Last des Körpers des Benützers wird somit über dessen Schultern auf die Stützen 2 und 2' übertragen und ein Schmerzen verursachender Druck auf die Kopfhaut, die Schädeldecke und das Genick des Benützers ist ausgeschlossen. Da die Stützen 2 und 2' in einstellbarem Abstand voneinander auf der Grundplatte 1 befesitgt werden können, lässt siche dieses Turngerät der Grösse und der Kopfform des Benützers anpassen, so dass es von grossen und kleinen Personen, selbst von Kindern, benützt werden kann.
Wie in der Fig. 1 dargestellt ist, besteht die Grundplatte 1 zweckmässig aus zwei Teilen, welche durch ein zu ihren Schmalseiten parallel laufendes Scharnierband 3 gelenkig miteinander verbunden sind, welches es ermöglicht, den einen Teil der Grundplatte 1 nach oben zu klappen. Die Länge des einen Teiles der Grundplatte 1 entspricht dabei der doppelten Breite einer Stütze 2 bzw. 2', so dass die beiden Stützen 2 und 2' aneinander anliegend auf diesem Teil der Grundplatte 1 Platz finden und der andere Teil der Grundplatte 1 nach oben an die Seitenfläche der Stütze 2' geklappt werden kann, wie es aus der Fig. 3 ersichtlich ist. Das Turngerät bildet dann einen geschlossenen Körper, welcher leicht verpackt und transportiert werden kann.
Die in den Fig. 4 und 5 dargestellte Ausführungsform des Turngerätes besitzt ebenfalls zwei Stützen 2 und 2', welche im dargestellten Fall auf einer Grundplatte 1 befestigt sind. Als Polsterung für beide Stützen 2 und 2' dient hierbei ein geschlossener Ring 4 aus elastischem Material, z. B. Schaumgummi, dessen lichte Weite so bemessen ist, dass der Benützer seinen Kopf frei hindurchstecken kann, welcher auf beiden Stützen 2 und 2' aufgelegt bzw. auf diesen befestigt ist. Der Benützer eines solchen Turngerätes steckt dabei seinen Kopf durch den Ring 4 und seine Schultern stützen sich über diesen auf die beiden Stützen 2 und 2' ab.

In order to achieve mental and physical recovery, yoga therapy is widely used today. One of the main exercises in this therapy is the headstand, which is intended to intensify blood circulation and, in particular, improve blood flow to the brain. Depending on the constitution of the practitioner, the duration of the headstand should extend over a shorter or longer period of time, which can be up to a few minutes. For many people, even a short headstand causes severe pain in the scalp and the top of the skull. In addition, the headstand puts a lot of strain on the neck of the practitioner, which can also cause pain and other discomfort.
In order to remedy these disadvantages, it is proposed to perform the shoulder stand instead of the headstand, which has the same effect as the headstand that has hitherto been used in yoga practice.
The invention relates to a gymnastics device for performing the shoulder stand, which is characterized in that it has two supports which are arranged on a base plate at an adjustable distance from one another, the upper ends of which are provided with padding which can serve as a base for the shoulders of the user.
The two supports can also be set up independently and z. B. have the shape of a cuboid, a truncated pyramid, a pylon; For this purpose, they are appropriately releasably attached to the base plate.

The gymnastics device shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 has a rectangular base plate 1, on which two cuboid supports 2 and 2 'are attached parallel to one another, standing on edge, at an adjustable distance from one another. The length of these supports 2 and 2 'corresponds to the width of the base plate 1.
As can be seen from the sectional drawing according to FIG. 2, each of the two supports 2 and 2 'can be made of a load-bearing lightweight body, e.g. B. consist of such a porous plastic 2a, which on its upper side has a front to back, extending over its entire width indentation 2b. A padding 2c made of foam rubber or the like is placed or glued onto the top of the lightweight body 2a, which covers the entire top of the lightweight body 2a and fills its indentation 2b. The lightweight body 2a together with its upholstery 2c is enclosed by a cover 2d made of leather, synthetic leather or another plastic which, as shown in FIG. 2, can be open to the base plate 1.
In the lowermost part of the lightweight body 2a two threaded bushings 2e with internal thread are used, which are intended for screws 2f, which penetrate the base plate 1 and whose heads are sunk into the underside of the base plate 1, by means of which the supports 2 and 2 'on the Base plate 1 can be releasably attached. In order to be able to fasten the two supports 2 and 2 'at an adjustable distance from one another on the base plate 1, the latter has at least part of its length two rows of screw holes 1 a parallel to its longitudinal sides.
The supports 2 and 2 'are intended to serve as a base for the shoulders of the user of the gymnastics apparatus and they are attached to the base plate 1 at such a distance from one another that the user's head has space between them with play.
The height of the supports 2 and 2 'is such that the user's head can hang freely between them and does not touch the base plate 1. The entire load of the user's body is thus transferred to the supports 2 and 2 'via the user's shoulders, and pain-causing pressure on the scalp, the top of the skull and the neck of the user is excluded. Since the supports 2 and 2 'can be attached to the base plate 1 at an adjustable distance from each other, this gymnastics device can be adapted to the size and head shape of the user, so that it can be used by large and small people, even children.
As shown in FIG. 1, the base plate 1 expediently consists of two parts which are articulated to one another by a hinge 3 running parallel to their narrow sides, which makes it possible to fold one part of the base plate 1 upwards. The length of one part of the base plate 1 corresponds to twice the width of a support 2 or 2 ', so that the two supports 2 and 2' are adjacent to one another on this part of the base plate 1 and the other part of the base plate 1 is at the top the side surface of the support 2 'can be folded, as can be seen from FIG. The gymnastics device then forms a closed body which can be easily packaged and transported.
The embodiment of the gymnastics apparatus shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 also has two supports 2 and 2 'which are attached to a base plate 1 in the case shown. A closed ring 4 made of elastic material, eg.
