G = M E F (1)
H = N.E.F (2)
J = É E.F.Ä F A (3)
R = E zu F (4) 5 = E.F (5)
Brightness-dependent control device for a motor drive of at least one board curtain
The invention relates to a brightness-dependent control device for a motor drive of at least one board curtain, for example a Venetian blind or roller blind.
The invention is based on the object of creating a control device of this type, by means of which the board curtain is lowered or raised depending on the brightness and, in the lowered state, the inclination of the boards is also changed depending on the brightness.
This is achieved according to the invention by at least one photoelectric threshold value switching device whose electrical output value indicates whether the lighting of its photoelectric organ is above or below a predetermined, adjustable brightness range, a memory for control information for the motor and for information about the raised or lowered state of the curtain , a first logic circuit arrangement which changes the latter based on the output variable of the threshold value switching device and the stored information in order to control the motor to achieve a constant brightness influenced by the curtain, and a second logic circuit arrangement which forms motor control signals from the stored control information.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
The single figure shows the block diagram of a brightness-dependent control device for a motor drive of a board curtain.
The control circuit shown has a first threshold value switching device I with a photoelectric element, an output B which is in state 1 when the brightness at the photoelectric element 1 exceeds a predetermined, adjustable range and is otherwise in state 0, and an output A which is in state 1 if this brightness falls below this range, and is in state 0 otherwise.
A second photoelectric threshold value switching device II has a photoelectric organ, an output C, which is in state 1 when the brightness on the photoelectric organ falls below another, predetermined, adjustable range, and is otherwise in state 0, and an output D, which is in State 1 is when this brightness range is exceeded and is otherwise in state 0.
A motor switch III has an input K, by the excitation of which the motor is driven to raise the curtain, and an input L, by the excitation of which the motor is driven to lower the curtain.
A memory IV contains two flip-flops and has three inputs P, G, H and two outputs E and F. This memory IV is connected in such a way that it only responds to 1 pulses. A pulse at input G sets E to 1 and F to 1, a pulse at input H sets E to 1 and F to 0, a pulse at input P sets E to 0 and leaves the state of F unchanged.
A first logic circuit arrangement V has four inputs M, N, E and F and two outputs G and H.
The mode of operation of this circuit arrangement can be seen from the following formulas in Boolean notation:
G = M E F (1)
H = N.E.F (2)
A second logic circuit arrangement consists of a first part VI and a second part VII.
The first part has three inputs E, F and A and three outputs J, R and S. Its mode of operation can be seen from the following formulas:
J = É E.F.Ä F A (3)
R = E to F (4) 5 = E.F (5)
The second part VII of the second logic circuit arrangement has six inputs C, D, J, Q, R and S and two outputs K and L. Its mode of operation can be seen from the following formulas: K = RCJQ = EF + CJQ (6) L = S + DJQ = EF + DJ Q (7)
Three delay elements VIII, IX and X allow only 1 pulses through which exceed a predetermined duration and change to 0 practically without delay when the input goes to 0. They each have an input and an output A and M or B and N or
E and P.
The predetermined, minimum pulse duration of the delay elements VIII and IX is dimensioned in such a way that the control device does not respond to relatively short-term, transient changes in brightness. The predetermined minimum pulse duration of the delay element X corresponds at least to the time required to raise or lower the curtain. The delay time of each delay element corresponds to the predetermined pulse duration.
In addition to the units described above, the circuit also has a pulse generator XI with an output Q at which periodic I pulses occur.
All inputs and outputs of the units I to XI described, which are connected to one another by the same letters, are electrically connected to one another.
The brightness ranges of the two threshold value switching devices I and II are optimally set in relation to each other when the state of output A of the first threshold value switching device I then goes to 1, when the state of output C of the second threshold value switching device II also goes to 1 when the board position is maximally open. (If the curtain is designed in such a way that the boards cannot be swiveled from the closed position in the opening direction beyond the open position, this is not necessary).
The operation of the control device described is as follows:
It is initially assumed that the curtain is drawn up and the motor is at a standstill, where F = 1 and E = 0, and that the brightness is within or below the brightness range set on the first threshold value switching device I, i.e. A = 1 or O and B = 0 .
As soon as the brightness exceeds the upper limit of this range, B changes from 0 to 1.If state 1 of B lasts longer than the delay time of delay element IX, after this time N changes from 0 to 1. According to formula (2), H changes from 0 to 1, since E is 0 and F is 1, as assumed above.
Because of the above-described function of the memory IV, E changes to 1 and F to 0 and consequently H according to formula 2 back to 0. According to formulas (5) and (7), S and thus L changes to 1, whereupon the motor switch III switches the Drives motor to lower the curtain. When the curtain is completely lowered, the motor is stopped by a limit switch (not shown). Then the delay time of the delay element X also expires, whereupon P changes to 1 and again to 0 because of the above mode of operation of the memory IV E. At the same time, J changes from 0 to 1 according to formula (3).
In general, the darkening caused by the curtain will not have brought the brightness at the photoelectric element of the threshold switch II (introduction: behind the curtain) into the predetermined range.
If this brightness is below this range, then C = 1. From this it follows (formula 6) that K periodically receives 1 pulses from the second part VII of the second logic circuit arrangement, so the motor switch III is operated to drive the curtain upwards in pulses , whereby the boards are adjusted step by step in the opening direction until the brightness on the photoelectric element is in the range set on the second threshold value switching device II, whereupon C changes from 1 to 0 and the pulsed drive of the motor stops.
If the brightness on the photoelectric organ of the threshold value switching device II is too great after the curtain has been lowered, D = 1, and the boards are adjusted step by step according to the process just described, but in the closing direction, until D changes from 1 to 0, with which the pulse-wise Drive of the motor stops.
In this way, the described control device regulates the brightness influenced by the curtain in the event of changes in the brightness in front of the curtain in such a way that the former remains within the range set on the second threshold value switching device, insofar as this is possible by adjusting the boards. If the outside brightness makes this impossible, the curtain is raised again as described below.
The impulsive drive when adjusting the inclination of the boards prevents an unstable mode of operation which would consist in the control circuit continuously regulating back and forth due to the inertia of the mechanical drive parts.
If the outside brightness falls below the lower limit of the range set on threshold value switching device I, in which case the brightness influenced by the curtain can no longer be readjusted to the desired value by adjusting the slats, the status changes from A to 1, whereupon according to formula ( 3) J = 0, whereupon, according to formula (6), no more periodic pulses occur at K. If A remains uninterruptedly at 1 for a period exceeding the delay time of delay element VIII, M goes to 1, E and F to 1, R to 1 and K to 1, so that motor switch III is actuated to raise the curtain. At the end of the pulling up, the delay time of the delay element X has expired and E goes to 0, which creates the state that was assumed at the beginning.
The device shown is assumed.
that the boards are opened by driving the motor in the direction of rotation required to pull up the curtain. In the opposite case, the outputs C + D of the threshold switch II must be swapped.
With certain curtains, especially with so-called venetian blinds, it is advisable to open the mentioned limit switch by briefly pulling up the curtain after lowering and then adjusting the boards, whereupon the boards have to be swiveled back. This can be achieved by a corresponding expansion of the control device described.
For certain types of curtains, the motor switch has separate inputs for moving the curtain down and for adjusting the boards in the closing direction.
which requires a corresponding addition to the control device described.
The device described can be designed to control a plurality of motor drives by assigning a threshold value switch device II and a logic circuit arrangement VII and a motor switch III to each of these drives. Each motor drive can drive one or more curtains with the help of at least one motor.
Both in this embodiment and in the embodiment described in connection with the drawing, individual or all threshold value switching devices and / or motors can be equipped with a manual switch which enables control processes to be carried out independently of the brightness. The manual switch (s) on the second threshold value switching device (s) and / or motors can, if necessary, expediently be blocked from a central point.
In order to avoid damage to the outside of windows of mounted curtains in the event of a storm, the first logic circuit arrangement can be provided with a connection for an anemometer and the memory and this circuit arrangement can be designed so that the curtain or curtains are drawn up when they are lowered , while the wind strength exceeds a predetermined value, and that the brightness-dependent control is blocked until the wind strength has fallen below a predetermined value for a predetermined time.
The first threshold value switch can also be equipped with a rain sensor which, when wet, causes the curtain or curtains to be pulled up.
