Apparatus for the transport of a sick or injured The main patent relates to an apparatus for the transport of a sick or injured comprising a rolling frame, having load arms movable vertically to be brought to different levels , means cooperating with the load arms to stretch or relax a canvas forming a hammock slipped under the patient, which makes it possible to take charge of a patient on a bed, without it being necessary to have to lift him manually, then transport it to the place of operation and place it on a table,
also without it being necessary to lift it manually, the operations of transporting a patient being able to be carried out by a single person.
The device can include at least one deformable base, which makes it possible to orient, in all the desired directions, the wheel mounted on this base, and in particular to use the device with the different kinds of beds, supports and others, employees in hospital establishments.
The present invention relates to such an apparatus, characterized in that the lifting device of the load arms consists of at least two sets of arms linked in an articulated manner, on the one hand to the frame, on the other hand to the arms. load, motor means such as jacks being connected to these arms to modify the relative position of the load arms with respect to the frame, which makes it possible to increase the working capacity of the apparatus.
An embodiment of the apparatus which is the subject of the invention is shown by way of example in the accompanying drawing in which FIG. 1 is a perspective view.
Fig. 2 is a schematic view showing the device in a mean horizontal position.
Fig. 3 is a view of the device in a low horizontal position. Fig. 4 is a view of the device in a horizontal position with the start of the load arms to the right or to the left with respect to the longitudinal axis of the base.
Fig. 5 is a view of the device in a high horizontal position.
Fig. 6 is a view of the apparatus in a right or left inclined position.
The apparatus shown, fig. 1, comprises a frame 1 forming a base and load arms 2 associated with a mechanism or with a cylinder 47 for tensioning or relaxing a canvas 12 forming a stretcher, along its longitudinal axis.
The whole support arm 2 and canvas forming a stretcher 12 is capable of occupying different positions relative to the frame 1 of the base.
These positions are in particular a) a high horizontal position of the stretcher relative to the frame of the base, b) a low horizontal position close to the frame of the base, c) the stretcher can also occupy all the intermediate positions between the low position and the high position as well as complementary positions in which the stretcher can be tilted horizontally as well as in storage positions relative to the frame of the base.
To achieve this result, the load arms 2 are connected to the frame of the base 1 by means of at least two sets 48, 49 of articulated arms so as to form a deformable hexagon in the vertical plane.
The set of articulated arms 48 consists of an upper arm 481 and a lower arm 48. The arms 481, 48 are articulated on one another by an axis 483.
The axis 483 is free and can be moved in the plane of the deformable hexagon.
The support arm 481 is immobilized on the mobile frame 50 of the load arms, via a pivot pin 484. The lower arm 482 is fixed to the frame of the base 1 via a pivot pin 485. .
The assembly 49 is made identically to the assembly 48 and comprises an upper arm 491, a lower arm 492, a pivot axis 494 on the frame 50, a pivot axis 495 on the frame of the base 1, the arms 491 , 492 being articulated one on the other by an axis 493.
The deformable hexagon thus produced is controlled in its deformations for the relative movements of the bran card 12 relative to the frame of the base 1, by means of a group of jacks.
The lifting movement of the frame 50 of the load arms 2, relative to the base 1, is obtained by two identical jacks 51 each having one end respectively fixed in the vicinity of the pivot points 485, 495, of the arm assemblies 48- 49, the other end of the jacks being fixed in the vicinity of the median part of the upper arms 481, 491 of the assemblies by means of a pin 52.
A third jack 53 is provided intended to maintain the frame 50 of the load arms 2 in the support polygon of the base of the frame 1.
To this end, the jack 53 extends substantially diagonally inside the hexagon defined by the sets of arms 48, 49, the frame 50 of the load arms 2 and the frame 1 of the base.
The jack 53 has an attachment point constituted by a pivot axis 54 disposed in the vicinity of the point of oscillation 485 of the arm 482 of the assembly 48; the other point of attachment of the cylinder 53 is constituted by the axis 52 of the cylinder 51, this axis 52 being located substantially in the middle part of the upper arm 491, of the assembly 49.
The two jacks 51 and the jack 53 are controlled by a pump 55 placed inside the base 1 of the frame and the detail of which is not shown.
The pump 55 is linked to a multiple-way distributor 56 making it possible to distribute the fluid simultaneously or selectively to the various jacks which ensure the deformation of the hexagon supporting the frame 50 of the load arms 2.
In fig. 2 to 6, we have shown the relative positions that the frame 50 of the load arms 2 can take with respect to the frame 1 of the base.
The constructive combination of the deformable hexagon and the jacks makes it possible to avoid the parallel arm assemblies used up to now, which makes the execution of the movement control device of the chassis 50 much easier. no longer needs to be done with rigorous precision.
This avoids jamming which can occur when using parts with parallel movement which can still have parallelism defects despite the care taken in their execution and assembly. The device makes it possible to considerably improve the extreme positions that the frame 50 can take with respect to the frame of the base 1. To these possibilities, there is added a control for translating the frame 50 along its longitudinal axis relative to the surface covered by the device. the base frame 1.
The offset action of the frame 50 can, moreover, be combined with an incline-incline position, which makes the apparatus particularly suitable for all the operations of taking charge and setting down the patient, the operations of radiology, of transport in a sloping or sloping horizontal plane, depending on the case.
