la fig. 1 est une vue en perspective montrant un premier mode d'exécution de l'appareil;
la fig. 2 est une vue montrant en perspective un mode d'exécution n simplifié de l'appareil;
la fig. 3 est une vue en perspective de l'appareil montrant le pied articulé en position normale de transport;
la fig. 4 est une vue en perspective du pied en position intermédiaire, semi-ouvert;
Device for transporting a sick or injured person
The present invention relates to an apparatus for transporting a sick or injured person, intended to take charge of the patient, to transport him and to set him down without manual support, device characterized in that it comprises a frame roller equipped with vertically movable load arms to be brought to different levels, means cooperating with the load arms to stretch or relax in the horizontal plane a canvas forming a hammock slipped under the patient or injured.
The rolling frame of the device can be provided with at least one articulated base to allow the device to approach the different kinds of beds, supports and the like, used in hospitals.
Some embodiments of the invention are shown by way of example in the accompanying drawing in which:
fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a first embodiment of the apparatus;
fig. 2 is a view showing in perspective a simplified embodiment n of the apparatus;
fig. 3 is a perspective view of the apparatus showing the articulated foot in the normal transport position;
fig. 4 is a perspective view of the foot in an intermediate, semi-open position;
fig. 5 is a perspective view of the foot in the open position.
The apparatus shown for transporting patients, for example, from a bed located at one level, to an operating table located at another level, is made in such a way that the patient can be taken care of on the transport device, without requiring any direct lifting maneuver, such as manual lifting, and also depositing the patient under the same conditions.
The apparatus comprises a movable frame 1 comprising lifting arms 2 adjustable in height by means of a geared mechanical control mechanism or hydraulically by means of jacks.
The removal of the patient lying on a bed is carried out by sliding a strong canvas under the patient, which can be easily achieved by a nurse, then by fixing this canvas on the lifting arms of the device which are provided with means of tension passing the sling from a loose hammock-shaped position to a stretched position, which involves the patient being supported and then lifted by activating the lifting mechanism of the arms.
The trolley can be released from the bed and then brought to the level of an operating table by raising the load arm above the level of said table and lowering to the level of this table, which causes relaxation of the support fabric. which is followed by a tension release by acting on the tension mechanism of the canvas carried by the load arms.
It is possible to remove the load arms on which the ends of the support fabric are threaded, then to release the device from the operating table, the patient still resting on the fabric and the operating table. (We can leave the patient relaxed on this canvas during the operation, to then resume more easily by the reverse process. We can provide that, in a hospital department, there will be several interchangeable canvas.)
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the transport apparatus consists of a movable frame 1 comprising a base base in the form of a tubular element in the general shape of a U.
On this base are arranged pivoting wheels 3 so as to be able to easily steer the device.
The frame is equipped with a fluid cylinder 36 arranged vertically to the frame, such as a hydraulic cylinder, the movable rod 37 of which receives at its end a horizontal tubular element 38 which comprises, at each of their ends, the load arms 2 of the device.
In this embodiment, the canvas 12 forming a hammock is stretched along a longitudinal axis.
To this end, the canvas is engaged by a hem 122 on the support arms 2 which can be moved closer to or away from each other by the play of a fluid cylinder, such as a hydraulic cylinder arranged inside the tubular element 38 to act on a bar 381 sliding telescopically on the tubular element 38.
The two jacks are controlled by means of a pedal 39 so that it is possible to carry out all the lifting, transport and deposit operations, the operator's hands remaining free to drive and guide the machine. device or ensure constant monitoring of the patient transported.
In the simplified embodiment shown in FIG. 2 the lifting mechanism consists of guide tubes 4, mechanical jacks, such as racks 5.
The load arms 2 and 4 are movable in the horizontal plane in order to stretch or relax the heavy canvas 12 along its longitudinal axis. To this end, the arm 21 is extended by a guided rod 22 capable of sliding telescopically in the tubular connecting element 6.
The guided rod 22 is preferably polygonal, so as to prevent the rotation of the arm 4.
The movement of the movable arm 21 is obtained by means of a mechanical hand control, of the type provided for actuating the racks 5 sliding in the columns 4.
Each of the load arms has in the vicinity of its angles a reinforcement ensuring the rigidity of these arms.
In this embodiment, the fabric 12 has, at its ends, a wide continuous fabric sleeve in the form of an elongated sleeve 125.
In order to allow the use of this device with the different bases used in hospitals, it is provided on it, fig. 3, 4, 5, at the base of one of the columns 4, two arms 40t and 402 of strong seotion, articulated, on the one hand, at one of their ends, and by axes 42J and 422, on a part 41, integral with column 4 and, on the other hand, at their other end, and by pins 431 and 432, on a part 412 integral with wheel support 44.
The assembly thus constitutes a deformable parallelogram which makes it possible to orient the wheel support 44 in all the desired directions.
Means are also provided for locking the wheel support 44 3 in the closed position, that is to say in the extension of the arms 401 and 409.
These means consist of a rod 45 fixed to the arm 402 and comprising at its end a bolt 45j, which engages with a keeper 46 incorporated in the support 44.
It should also be noted that the same removable crank 9 "is used for the vertical operation of the arms 2 and 4, and for the horizontal tension of the canvas 12. It suffices to engage it at will on the axis M or M ' .
