Handle for a photographic device The invention relates to a handle for a photographic device, with a fastening, un-svorrichtung, which enables the attachment of the handle in different rotational positions and its position securing relative to the device, and with a support loop for the hand holding the handle .
It is known to attach such handles to a side surface of a photographic device. By turning the handle around a horizontal axis and clamping it in the various rotational positions, its position in relation to the photographic device can be individually selected. The disadvantage is that such HandCiffs only for; p:
Purposefully set up devices can be used and there, too, they can only be handled with the right or left hand with considerable additional effort. These well-known manipulations cannot be applied using the status nut found on most fishbones. For operation with the right or left hand, a fastening device must be provided on both sides of the device.
Another known hand-grip construction can be attached to the device using the tripod nut. The handle can be rotated on the longitudinal axis of this tripod nut and set in different positions and is secured against rotation by means of a radial flute when the tripod screw is tightened. This handle does not have the advantageous support loop known per se. Obviously, no solution could be found for their use for the optional operation with the right or left hand.
The aforementioned construction also has the disadvantage that the individually determined most favorable handle position must always be searched for again when the handle has been removed from the device and is to be reattached.
y The two known handle constructions mentioned are further specified for use for devices whose connection means for the handle are identical to one another. In practice, however, the safeguards against twisting the handle with respect to the device, e.g. B. a photo <(rafic camera or a long focal length lens, different. For this reason, a separate handle has been required for each device.
The invention is based on the object of remedying the aforementioned coins with simple means and making a single hand = reef also for Ge devices with different fastening devices for both right and left hand operation and the advantages of a holding Take advantage of the support loop that encircles your hand.
In order to solve this problem, the invention is characterized according to the handle. that it, which can be attached to the underside of the device by means of a tripod screw, carries in the area of its tripod screw a lockable intermediate plate that can be repositioned by turning about the longitudinal axis of the tripod screw and is detachable from the handle, and that it has locking means corresponding to the locking means on photographic devices for interaction with locking means arranged on both sides of the intermediate plate ,
and that he sits on his back and on his underside fastening means for the support loop be, with which the ends are pivotably attached to the handle.
Preferably, the handle can have a support plate on its upper side, which can have a fixed hollow pin for pushing the intermediate plate. which have an annular groove that interacts with a bolt of the intermediate plate for locking the intermediate plate in the selected engagement position of the latching means on the handle side and the intermediate plate side and can accommodate the tripod screw in its bore.
The intermediate plate can on both sides locking pins or -hocken different position and, 'or size and, or shape, suitable for the locking depressions under different photographic devices, and the handle to the locking pins or -hocken both sides of the intermediate plate have matching locking recesses.
Knurled screws can be used as fastening means for the ends of the support loop, with the aid of which the support loop ends can be locked in the selected pivot position.
The one support loop end fastened to the underside of the handle can advantageously have an elongated hole through which, in cooperation with a clamping knurled screw, the size of the support loop can be changed and adapted to the operator's hand.
Uni to avoid an unintentional change in the loop position due to frictional engagement when clamping the support loop ends. The Klemmvor devices for setting the support loop ends can be supplemented by a non-twisting pad for the knurled screw In the following, an embodiment of the subject of the invention He should be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.
In the drawing: FIG. 1 shows a handle partially in section; Fiz. ? and 3 two rear views of the hand shown in FIG. 1 with different positions of the support loop (right and left hand operation); 4 shows a plan view of FIG. 1 without an intermediate plate and FIG. 5 shows a plan view of FIG. 1 with an intermediate plate.
According to the drawing, a handle body 1 that is open at the top is covered with a support plate 2 which is attached to the handle body 1 by means of screws 3. The support plate 2 has a bore 4 and coaxially to this bore 4 a recess 5 for a tripod screw 6. In the top of the handle body 1 is a mirror image of the recess 5 GE shaped recess 7 is attached. Both depressions 5 and 7 create space for the knurled head of the tripod screw 6, which protrudes on both sides of the handle body.
In the upper surface 8 of the support plate 2, eight locking grooves 9 are provided, which run radially to the longitudinal axis of the tripod screw 6. A hollow pin 10 with an annular groove 11 protrudes from the upper surface 8 of the support plate 2 on the outer jacket. An intermediate plate 12 is pushed onto this hollow pin 10 and rests on the upper surface 8 of the support plate 2. On both sides of the intermediate plate 12 arranged locking pins 13 or locking cams 14 engage in little least one of the locking grooves 9 a. The intermediate plate 12 also has a pin-shaped bolt 15 which is tangent to the hollow pin 10 in the area of the annular groove 11.
On part of its length, this bolt 15 is reduced in diameter so that the hollow pin 10 can be inserted unhindered into the hole assigned to it in the intermediate plate 12 when the bolt 15 against the action of its spring 16 in the Z isrhenplatte 12 in the Position is moved in which the constriction of the bolt is close to the hollow pin 10. A screw 17 serves as an abutment for the spring 16.
The locking pins 13 are formed by pin screws and can thus be removed from the intermediate plate 12. This is for the case that the handle is to be used for a photographic device without locking recesses in the area of the tripod nut.
The function of the fastening device with the intermediate plate 12 is described as follows: Depending on the use of the handle with the right or left hand, the relative position of the inter mediate plate 12 to the handle body 1 with the support plate 2 within the scope of the locking options. which the locking grooves 9 offer, choose. Uni to implement the intermediate plate 12. the protruding end of the pin-shaped bar 15 is pressed until its constriction lies next to the hollow pin 10 . The intermittent plate 12 is thus released for pulling off the hollow journal 10.
During the converter in the desired other relative position, the locking bar 1 5 is held in the depressed position described above. As soon as the locking pins l3 bz \ v. Latching cams 14 in - which correspond to the latching grooves 9 are eiiiìera; tet. let go of the bolt 15.
Under the action of its spring 16, it is then pressed outwards until it engages with its part, which is larger in diameter and adjacent to the constriction, into the annular groove l1 in the hollow pin 10. As a result, the intermediate plate 12 is secured both against earth relieving around and against being pulled off from the hollow pegs 10 .
If the handle is to be used for a photographic device with a different locking device, the lock is released by the bolt 15 in the above-described manner. Thereafter, the intermediate plate 12 is pulled off the front hollow pin and turned over so that the intermediate plate surface previously lying on the support plate 2, with the appropriate locking means, becomes the support surface for the photographic device.
The latching pins 13 or latching cams 14, which previously served as latching means for the device, now engage in the latching grooves 9 in the support plate 2 and thus secure the intermediate plate 12 against twisting against your handle body 1.
A support loop 18 is finite at its ends 19 bz @ i. 20 attached to the back of the handle body 1 and pivotably on its underside. A knurled screw 21, which is screwed into a corresponding threaded bushing 22 in the handle body 1, is used on the back of the handle body leg support loop end 19. The knurled screw 21 has a shoulder 23, the height of which is greater than the thickness of the support loop 18. With it, the end 19 of the support loop can therefore not be clamped.
It remains pivotable even when the knurled screw 2 1 is firmly tightened. A knurled screw 24 is used to fasten the support loop 18 with its lower end 20 to the underside of the handle body 1. Under the head of this knurled screw 24, which is screwed into a threaded socket 25, a support 26 secured against rotation is placed. which engages with a tab 27 in cinc groove 28 in the handle body 1.
The knurled hood 24 engages through an elongated hole 29 in the end of the support loop 18. As a result, it is possible to create the width of the support loop 18. Accordingly, the end 20 of the SIÜtzschl @ itife 1 8 must be able to be fixed with the knurled screw 24. The R; indei screw 24 is therefore designed accordingly.
The purpose of the underlay 26 is to prevent the end 20 from being carried along by friction on the head of the cylindrical screw 24 when it is clamped.
To switch from right-hand operation to left-hand operation or vice versa and adapting the width of the support loop 18 to the operator's hand, only the knurled screw 24 needs to be solved to whoever. The support loop 18 is then pivoted from the right to the left position or vice versa (FIGS. 2 and 3), the desired setting is made and the end 20 is clamped again with the knurled screw 24.
