Pivoting Device for Lights The invention relates to a pivoting device for lights with a screwless joint.
The invention has for its object to provide a pivoting device of this type with a particularly simple structure, through which an electrically conductive connection between the fixed and the pivotable lamp part is guaranteed at the same time.
The pivoting device according to the invention is characterized in that a fixed mounting plate is provided with an electrically conductively connected axis which engages in a slot of a main part carrying or forming a socket and is fixed there by means of a spring, which is the mechanical as well as the electrical connec tion between the two parts.
The spring can preferably be a leaf spring. Furthermore, you can arrange the slot in the main part laterally and near its upper end.
In one possible embodiment, the spring can be introduced in the form of a leaf spring between the axle and a jacket of the main part and be designed in such a way that on the one hand it partially engages around the axle and thus forms a self-locking electrically conductive brake and on the other hand by means of claws, teeth or the like makes the electrical and mechanical connection Ver with the main part.
Connection terminals for an electrical supply line and a protective conductor can advantageously be arranged on the fixed mounting plate in the vicinity of the axis.
In order to achieve a particularly secure mounting of the pivotable lamp part, a locking device of a known type can be provided in addition to the self-locking joint.
The mounting plate can have several fastening holes, one of which can advantageously be arranged in such a way that when the main part is in a vertical position it is concentric to its central axis. For the setting of the lamp during installation, this can then be by <B> C) < / B> a vertical axis can be rotated until the desired position is reached.
The design of the pivoting device described above, a special connection between tween the fixed and the pivotable part of the pivoting device by means of a movable conductor is superfluous. It can be ensured that the protective conductor connection always remains functional and does not become a source of danger due to a break in a frequently moving wire.
The pivoting device can also be designed such that the pivoting range of the pivotable main part is limited to less than <B> 90 '</B>. This can prevent a reflector attached to the main part from resting on the fixed mounting plate in an end position and heating it inadmissibly.
An embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. In the drawing: FIG. 1 shows a front view and FIG. 2 shows a side view of the pivotable lamp main part and the mounting plate and FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 / B> in three different views the position of the axis, the spring and the slot for the axis in relation to the lamp main part and the mounting plate.
With <B> 1 </B> a swiveling main part carrying or forming a socket and with 2 a fixed mounting plate on which mains connection terminals 4 and a protective conductor connection <B> 5 </B> with the mounting plate 2 are located is conductively connected. In the main part <B> 1 </B> a slot <B> 6 </B> (FIGS. 2, 4, <B> 5) </B> is provided, into which one that is attached to the mounting plate 2 and is conductive this connected axis <B> 7 </B> engages. The axis <B> 7 </B> consists of bronze, for example, as does a spring <B> 8 provided in the area of the slot <B> 6 </B>, which provides the mechanical and electrical connection between the main part <B> 1 </B> and the axis <B> 7 </B> of the mounting plate 2.
The Fe of the <B> 8 </B>, like the axle <B> 7 </B>, is bare metal and expediently has at the points where it rests firmly on the main part <B> 1 </B>, Teeth, claws or the same, and on the other leg a curved shape adapted to the diameter of the axis <B> 7 </B>. To establish a selected inclination of the main part <B> 1 </B>, a locking device known per se can be used, which in the exemplary embodiment consists of a slot guide <B> 9 </B> in side walls of the mounting plate 2 and with wing nuts < B> 10 </B> equipped and in the main part <B> 1 </B> fastened locking screws <B> 11 </B>.
To attach the entire facility to a surface, e.g. B. a room ceiling, holes 12, <B> 13, </B> 14 (Fig. <B> 1, </B> 2) are used, the hole <B> 13 </B> being located centrally above the main lamp part so that the entire lamp can be rotated around a vertical axis.
