7b bzw. 7c bzw. 7d nicht überdeckte Bereich 8b bzw. 8c bzw. 8d bzw. 8e des be nachbarten Teilinformationsträgers 7b bzw. 7c, bzw. 7d bzw.
14,1 bzw. 14111 bzw. 141v bzw. 14v der Ausnehmung 151 bzw. 15" bzw. 151I, bzw. 15,v bzw. 15v des be nachbarten Teilinformationsträgers 13d bzw. 13g bzw.
13k bzw. 13p bzw.
X-X,v bzw. X-Xv der Gruppe 13111 bzw. 1311 bzw. 13,I, bz'. 13,v bzw. 13v gehörige Teilinformationsträger 13d bzw. 13g bzw. 13k bzw. 13p bzw. der äusserste Teilinformationsträger 13r der Gruppe 13v an der Stelle keine Ausnehmung 141 bzw.
14j bzw. 14111 bzw. 141v bzw.
Information carrier in book form The invention relates to an information carrier in book form with individual sheet-like partial information carriers which can be laid parallel to one another for receiving information and relates in particular to such an information carrier whose partial information carriers are intended to receive information applied by printing.
Books, like brochures, are information carriers in book form in which the individual sheets are bound as partial information carriers in such a way that they can be pivoted individually or in groups so that their planes form an angle with one another.
The same principle of use can also be found, for example, in maps, street maps, flight plans or the like, in which either the same type of fastening device for the individual partial information carriers is used relative to one another by means of a book binding, such as in atlases, or in those a large sheet-like information carrier is divided into individual partial information carriers by folding, which are thereby brought into use position,
that they can be swiveled individually or in groups together so that their planes form an angle with each other.
In the case of these known information carriers, their individual partial information carriers are each fixedly and permanently connected along one of their edges to at least the adjacent part information carrier if the entire association of all partial information carriers is not to be broken up.
As a result, especially when the overall information carrier has a larger number of partial information carriers, its handling is made considerably more difficult and the search for certain information by opening the partial information carrier containing it is considerably hindered because both hands of the operator are used to operate the overall information carrier Information seekers are required.
For example, when using larger road maps or so-called car atlases, this disadvantage has turned out to be particularly serious because the motor vehicle driver cannot find the route at a glance, for example while driving through an unknown large city, but rather one Must look for a place to stop the motor vehicle in order to take the necessary information from the information carrier and memorize it.
Other information carriers with individual sheet-shaped partial information carriers that can be laid parallel to one another are also known, in which these partial information carriers can be lifted off relative to one another in the direction of their surface normals after a suitable fastening device has been released.
For example, in the case of so-called loose-leaf collections, the individual partial information carriers have two or more overlapping perforations through which a tubular shaft extends, in the free tube opening of which a pin provided with a cover and holding flange is inserted to hold the individual partial information carriers together ,
preferably all pins are rigidly connected to one another by means of a common cover flange and can be pushed together as a whole into all tubular receiving sleeves.
The disadvantages of this information carrier in terms of handling and faster and more convenient information removal are the same as with the bound or paperback books already described. Another disadvantage of these information carriers is that, due to the rigid, inflexible fastening device for the individual partial information carriers, at least one of the two groups of partial information carriers that result when this information carrier is opened weighs down or both hands of the operator have to be used,
in order to prevent the information carrier from turning back or slamming on its own.
A similar construction is known, for example, in postage stamp albums. In this construction be the holding and fastening device for the individual partial information carrier consists of at least two internally threaded shank nuts, which reach through corresponding superimposed holes of the individual partial information carriers and into which a threaded screw is screwed from the side of the free end of the threaded hole, with as a retaining flange either one between the screw head or
-heads and the uppermost part of the information carrier placed, through holes at a suitable point, rather for the screws or their associated shaft nuts, or a part of the album cover is placed.
This known construction also has the disadvantages already outlined. Another disadvantage of this construction is that at least the part serving as the cover sheet has, for example, a line of weakness or has to be designed in some other way so that it is divided into two interconnected parts, one of which is rigid and fixed to the fastening device or
The partial information carrier is kept assigned to the stack held together by this, while the other part, which is held in a flexible connection with the first part, can be pivoted relative to the stack of partial information carriers so that its plane merges with the plane of the partial information carrier Angle forms.
In this known construction, this training is also required for the individual partial information carriers if they have a certain thickness or are made of such a material that they offer a certain resistance to bending along a line lying in their plane.
Furthermore, another information carrier construction is known in which the individual partial information carriers are held against one another along one of their edges in such a way that they can be tilted towards one another using only one hand.
In this construction, which is used, for example, in so-called shorthand blocks, the individual partial information carriers each have along one of their delimiting edges a row of overlapping holes through which a wire spiral extends. This construction makes it possible, compared to the constructions already described, to turn over individual partial information carriers or groups of partial information carriers with one hand,
if the area of these partial information carriers is relatively small and their rigidity is relatively large, but it has the additional disadvantage that if the area of the individual Te:
1 information carrier is comparatively large and its material thickness is comparatively thin and / or its material is selected so that the entire sheet that forms a single partial information carrier does not have such. Has stiffness that it can be given away as a roughly flat surface without significant bending,
the pivoting of individual partial information carriers incorrectly at their level to one another leads to at least individual partial information carriers not being properly pivoted against one another and being able to roll or kink, which can damage the partial information carriers and reduce the quality of the information they contain, or that for Avoid these disadvantages and inconveniences with both hands again d. -r operator must be used.
Finally, a further construction of book-shaped information carriers is known in which the individual partial information carriers are likewise not firmly connected to one another by, for example, a book binding or pamphlet, but rather can be pivoted relative to one another with their planes inclined, without the individual partial information carriers being bound lengthways one of its edges must get belbien.
This construction, known in particular under the term ring binder, has two rings of each pair or individually relative to each other so aufklapp ble ring halves that a gap is created between the free and in the folded state abutting end faces of two associated ring halves of a ring. In this known construction, the individual partial information carriers can be inserted into this gap in such a way that in each case a hole which is assigned to a ring and is present in them can be pushed over one or the other ring half.
After all partial information carriers have been threaded onto one or the other associated ring halves of both rings, the rings can be folded back together so that the end faces of their two ring halves come to rest against one another and are held in this.
This known construction with two individual rings as the fastening device has the same disadvantages as the previously described known construction with a fastening device in the form of a spiral extending through a series of holes in the stack of partial information carriers. In addition, this construction has the further disadvantage that the information carrier must always have a base as a support for use, because its individual partial information carriers cannot be pivoted by 360, but only by 180 against one another.
If this known informa tion carrier is to be used without a support pad, the use of both hands of the operator is also required for this.
The invention is based on the object of creating an information carrier in book form with individual sheet-like partial information carriers that can be laid parallel to one another for receiving, in particular, information applied by printing, in which the disadvantages of the various known designs of information carriers of this type are practically completely avoided and in particular the Possibility of being operated with such simplicity, ease and speed even when using only one hand of the operator,
as is not the case with the known information carriers when it comes to providing information quickly and easily in a targeted manner on occasions where only one hand is available to operate it, as can also be the case with physically disabled people, for example refer to. The information carrier according to the invention should be able to be produced in an extraordinarily simple, material and time-saving manner and should therefore be comparatively particularly cheap compared to the known information carriers and at the same time have an aesthetically attractive appearance.
In addition to its ease of use, such an information carrier should not have any further advantages in the known designs, namely by not only making its binding simple, easy and cheap to produce, but also by the information carrier itself being easy and convenient to stow or store, for example, without difficulty in the pocket of a piece of clothing and can be easily removed from it without any effort and other people darzuri chen.
The subject matter of the invention is characterized in that, in order to make the information of one or more partial information carriers visible, they can be individually or jointly, optionally parallel to one another and / or pivoted so that their planes form an angle with one another.
The partial information carriers can expediently be held together by a connecting device which at the same time has a pivot axis for pivoting the partial information carriers parallel to one another and a pivot axis for pivoting the partial information carriers with an inclination to one another.
Such a connecting device can have a particularly advantageous embodiment, which is particularly advantageous in spite of its simplicity and its low cost for material, manufacture and attachment, and which extends through a hole in each partial information carrier.
In the drawing, various Ausführungsbei games of the subject invention are shown, wherein the same parts are marked with the same reference numerals.
The figures show: FIG. 1 a plan view of an information carrier with circular disk-shaped partial information carriers lying one above the other in a stack; FIG. 2 shows a section through the information carrier along the line II-II in FIG. 1; FIG. 3 shows a side view of the information carrier according to FIGS. 1 and 2 from the direction of arrow A;

FIG. 10 shows an illustration of the information carrier according to FIG. 9 corresponding to the illustration according to FIG. 6, with various sections along the lines X-XI, X-X ", X-XnI, X XIv, X-Xv according to FIG. 9 being shown;
FIG. 11 in the representations according to FIGS. 1, 4 and 9 corresponding representation, a further exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention with partial information carriers lying on top of one another in stacks with circular contouring of different sizes; and FIG. 12 shows the information carrier according to FIG. 11 in the representation according to FIG.
In the information carrier shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the stack of the individual partial information carriers is denoted by 1. These partial information carriers la to lr have the same circular shape of the same size and each have a circular hole 2a to 2r.
The holes 2a to 2r are arranged in the associated partial information carriers la to 1r with respect to their range 1 ″ so that they lie on top of one another when shown in which the in the center plane II-11 of the ring 3 reaching through the holes 2a to 2r Surface lines 1 ″ 'align with one another, the holes 2a to 2r of the individual partial information carriers la to 1r form a tube 2.
The diameter d2 of the individual holes 2a to 2r is the same, greater than the diameter d3 of the material forming the ring 3 and is selected so large that the ring 3, despite its curvature, has enough space within the tube 2 formed by the holes 2a to 2r takes place in order to ensure an effortless pivoting of the individual partial information carriers la to 1r with inclination of their planes relative to one another,
The individual holes 2a to 2r are net angeord in the area of the edge zone 1 'of the individual partial information carriers la to 1r. The same diameter d for all holes 2a to 2r. is twice as large as the diameter d3 of the material forming the ring 3, and the outer diameter D of this ring 3 in turn is half as large as the same diameter of the circular disk-shaped partial information carriers la to 1r formed by the edge 1 ″.
The exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 has a similar structure. The individual partial information carriers are denoted by 4a to 4r and combined in individual groups 41 to 4v. The holes 2a to 2r form a cylindrical tube lying in the area of the edge zone 4 'of the partial information carriers 4a to 4r,
through which the ring 3 engages. The ring 3 also has the holes 2a to 2'r and the outer contour 4 "of the individual partial information carriers 4a to 4r have the same dimensions as the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3. While in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS Metal ring is formed, it consists in the embodiment according to Figure 4 to 6 made of plastic.
In FIG. 4, the slightly eccentric representation of the diameter d3 of the ring 3 with respect to the diameter d2 of the tube D2 shows that the ring reaches through the tube 2 with sufficient motion bearing space.
The group 41 of partial information carriers are assigned the partial information carriers 4a to 4c, the group 411 the partial information carriers 4d to 4f, the group 4111 the partial information carriers 4g to 4j, the group 41v the partial information carriers 4k to 4o and the group 4v the partial information carriers 4p to 4r.
The partial information carriers 4a to 4c of the group 41 have their holes 2a to 2c, which are not diametrically opposite recesses 61, which are arranged for all partial information carriers 4a to 4c of this group at the same point and have a circular contour, which corresponds to the outer contour 4 ' this partial information carrier 4a to 4c intersects.
The partial information carriers 4d to 4f of the group 411 have the same recesses 611, which have a contour similar to the contour of the recess 61 of the partial information carrier 4a to 4c of the group 41, but with a smaller diameter.
The partial information carriers 4h to 4j of the group 4111 also have recesses 6111 at the same point as the partial information carriers 4a to 4c of the group 41 or 4d to 4f of the group 411, which in turn. with respect to the recess 611 of the partial information carriers 4d to 4f of group 4 ″ have similar contouring but with a smaller diameter.
The same is the case with the partial information carriers 4k to 4o of group 41v, in which the recess is designated by 61v. The partial information carriers 4p to 4r of group 4v have no recess.
The individual recesses 61 to 61v thus each free an area 511 to 5v of the group 411 to 4v adjacent to the group 41 to 41v assigned to them, which has constantly perceptible information that has a register-like effect that, for example, the one area 511 or 5111 or 51v 5v has a different color than the adjacent area 5111 or 51v or
5v or differs in some other way from the neighboring area by means of suitable information features. In this way, a quickly findable assignment of the individual partial information carriers of a group can be achieved and these partial information carriers of this group can be distinguished from the partial information carriers of another group.
From FIG. 6 it can be seen how the individual partial information carriers 4a to 4r can be pivoted so that their planes each form an angle with one another. The angle between the group 41 of partial information carriers with respect to the group 411 with x, the angle of the group 411 with respect to the group 4111 with ss,
the angle of group 4111 with respect to group 41v is denoted by v and the angle of group 41v with respect to group 4v is denoted by o.
In the illustration according to FIG. 6, the individual partial information carriers 4a to 4r are each pivoted relative to one another in their group association with inclination x or ss or y or o. In the same way, however, the individual partial information carriers of a group can also be pivoted among one another.
In Figure 5 it is shown how the individual partial information carriers 4a to 4r are also pivoted again in groups parallel to each other, namely by rotation about the pivot axis formed by the ring 3 reaching through the holes 2a to 2r. In practice, a combination of the two pivoting options shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 is used in most cases for quick and convenient handling of the information carrier.
In FIG. 7, only a stack of partial information carriers is shown. This stack contains the partial information carriers 7a to 7r, which in turn are divided into groups 71 to 7v :. The groups 71 to 71v each consist of a single partial information carrier, namely 7a or 7b or 7c or 7d, while the group 7v consists of fourteen partial information carriers, namely the partial information carriers 7e to 7r.
The partial information carriers 7a to 7r of this exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention have the same shape of regular hexagons of the same size and each have holes 2a to 2r at the same point, which when the individual partial information carriers lie on top of one another in a stack-like manner, which form the partial information carrier stack 7, form a cylindrical tube 2. The diameter d_ of this tube 2 is the same as in the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 3 and 4 to 6.
The holes 2a to 2r are each net angeord in the area of the edge zone 7 'of the individual partial information carriers 7a to 7r and at the same time in the area of a corner of the associated polygonal disk 7a to 7r.
The individual partial information carriers in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 4 to 6 similarly have their edge contour 7 ″ intersecting recesses 9a to 9d, namely the group 71 consisting of only a single partial information carrier 7a is the recess 9a, which also consists of only one Partial information carrier 7b existing group 711 the recess 9b,
the group 7111, which in turn consists of only one partial information carrier 7c, is assigned the recess 9c and the group 71v, which also consists of only one partial information carrier 7d, is assigned the recess 9d, while the partial information carriers 7e to 7r belonging to the group 7v have no recess.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, the individual recesses 9a to 9d are arranged diametrically with respect to the holes 2a to 2d or the tube 2 and have a circular contouring that is similar to one another, whereby from a largest recess 9a to a smallest recess. tion 9d, a descending order is formed by the arrangement of the associated partial information carriers 7a to 7d.
The area 8b or 8c or 8d or 8e of the adjacent partial information carrier 7b or 7c or 7d or 7e not covered by the surface of a partial information carrier 7a or 7b or 7c or 7d is constantly perceptible Information that, for example, by different colors of the individual non-covered areas 8b to 8e, enables the information carrier to be handled in a register.
The individual non-covered areas 8b to 8e can, instead of different colors, also have other information by means of which they differ from one another.
The stack 10 shown in FIG. 8 of partial information carriers 10a to 10r of a further exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention differs from the stack 7 of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7 only in that:
that the individual partial information carriers 10a to 10r each have the same oval disk-shaped shape of the same size, and that the recesses 12a to 12d are not diametrically opposed to the holes 2a to 2r or the through holes in the area of the edge zone 10 'of the partial information carriers 10a to 10r these formed cylindrical tube 2 with the diameter d2 are arranged. The holes 2a to 2r of this exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention are each arranged in the region of the smaller curvature of the contour .der the associated oval disc 10a to 10r.
The oval outer contour of the individual partial information carriers 10a to 10r is denoted by 10 ″, while the recess of the partial information carrier 10a, which alone forms the group 10, is labeled 12a, the recess of the partial information carrier 10b, which in turn forms the group 10,1 alone, is denoted by 12b also alone a group 101,
1 forming partial information carrier 10c is denoted by 12c and finally the recess of the partial information carrier 2d, which again only forms a group 10, v, is denoted by 12d. The partial information carriers 10e to 10r have no recess.
The circular arc contour that intersects the outer contour 10 ″ of the partial information carriers 10a to 10d has the recesses 12'a to 12d form an order that descends from the largest recess 12a to the smallest recess 12d 11b to 11e and have continuously perceptible register-like information.
In the exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the individual partial information carriers 13a to 13r lying on top of one another in FIG. 9 in the form of a stack 13 are essentially designed in exactly the same way as in the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 3. The exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 9 and 10 differs from the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3 only in that it is designed for register-like handling,
and compared to the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 to 6 in that the cutouts assigned to the individual partial information carriers are designed and arranged differently. The edge zone of the individual partial information carriers 13a to 13r is denoted by 13 'and their outer delimiting contour is denoted by 13 ″.
The individual partial information carriers 13a to 13r are divided into [the groups] 131 to 13v, with the partial information carriers 13 (a to 13c, for group 131, the partial information carriers 13d to 13f, for group 1311 , the partial information carriers 13g to 13j, the group 13, v the partial information carriers 13k to 13o and the group 13v the partial information carriers 13p to 13r.
All of the partial information carriers 13a to 13c of the group 131 have five recesses 151 to 15v of the same circular arc shape and size, arranged along their delimiting contour 13 ″.
The partial information carriers 13d to 13f only have the recesses 151 to 15v, which are arranged in such a way that these recesses overlap with the partial information carriers 13a to 13c of the group 13 when these partial information carriers 13d to 13f lie on top of one another in an aligned, stack-like manner.
The partial information carriers 13g to 13j of the group 13111 only have the recesses 15111 to 15v, which when the individual partial information carriers 13a to 13j lie on top of one another in the manner of a stack with the recesses 15 "1 to 15v -the partial information carrier 13a to 13f of groups 13 and 131, in alignment over cover.
The partial information carriers 13k to 13o belonging to the group 13, v only have the recesses 15, v and 15v, which in turn are arranged in such a way that when the partial information carriers 13a to 13o lie one on top of the other with the recesses 15, v and 15v of the partial information carriers 13a to 13j of the groups 13 "13" and 13 "overlap in alignment.
In the case of the partial information carriers 13p to 13r belonging to the group 13v, only the partial information carriers 13p and 13q have recesses 15v which, when the partial information carriers 13a to 13q lie on top of one another in an aligned, stack-like manner with the recesses 15v of the partial information carriers 13a to 13o of the groups 13 ,, 13,1, 13111 and 13, v overlap flush.
The last partial information carrier 13r of group 13v has no recess.
It can be seen that when the partial information carriers 13a to 13r lie on top of one another in a decreasing order along their boundary contour 13 ″ in the direction of this decreasing order, an increasing number of recesses 15 to 15v is covered from partial information carrier to partial information carrier.
The area 141 or 14.1 or 14111 or 141v or 14v of the recess not covered by the surface of a partial information carrier 13a to 13c or 13d to 13f or 13g to 13j or 13k to 130 or 13p to 13q 151 or 15 "or 151I, or 15, v or 15v of the adjacent partial information carrier 13d or 13g or
13k or 13p or 13r has constantly warnable information, for example in the form of different colors, through which register-like handling of the information carrier is made possible.
In FIG. 10, this is particularly illustrated by the fact that the individual partial information carriers 13a to 13r are indeed pivoted in groups with an inclination a or / 3 or y or Q of their planes relative to one another, but they are pivoted against one another Swiveled groups not in the sense of assigned information carriers of the same type of information or
the same information are selected on the non-covered areas 14 to 14v, but rather one group 13, the adjacent partial information carrier 13d of group 1311, the two remaining partial information carriers 13e and 13f of group 13.1 and the adjacent partial information carrier 13g of Group 131.1, the remaining partial information carriers 13h to 13j of group 13.1, the adjacent partial information carrier 13k of group 13n.-,
the remaining partial information carriers 131 to 13o of group 131v are assigned the adjacent partial information carrier 13p of group 13v and only the two remaining partial information carriers 13q and 13r are shown in group 13v. It can be seen that at the point of the sections X-X1 or X-X1, or X-XIII or X-X, v or
X Xv which does not belong to group 13, 11 or X-X, v or X-Xv of group 13111 or 1311 or 13, I, bz '. 13, v or 13v belonging partial information carrier 13d or 13g or 13k or 13p or the outermost partial information carrier 13r of the group 13v at the point no recess 141 or
14j or 14111 or 141v or 14v, on which the remaining information carrier parts assigned to the respective section have recesses.
In addition, the partial information carriers 13a to 13r can in the manner described in connection with the description of FIG. 6 or in connection with the description of FIG. 5 around the holding and binding ring formed from metal in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS 3 can be pivoted individually or in any grouping.
In the exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, the stack 16 of partial information carriers 16a to 16o consists of individual groups of different partial information carriers 16a to 16c or 16d to 16f or 16g to 16h or 16i to 16j or 16k or respectively 161 to 16o.
The group 161 are the partial information carriers 16a to 16c, the group 1611 are the partial information carriers 16d b: s 16f, the group 16111 the partial information carriers 16g and 16h, the group 161v the partial information carriers 16i and 16j, the group 16v the partial information carriers 16k and the group 16v1 the partial information carriers 161 to 160 assigned to.
The individual partial information carriers of each group have the same circular disk shape as one another, but their diameter differs from group to group. The circular disk-shaped partial information carriers 16a to 16c of the first group 161 have the smallest and the partial information carriers 161 to 16o of the group 161v the largest, while the partial information carriers of the intermediate groups 1611 to 16v each have a diameter between these two diameters.
The partial information carriers of one group are thus similar to those of another group.
The design and dimensions of the holes 2a to 2o of the individual partial information carriers 16a to 160 and of the holding and binding ring 3 are the same as in the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 3, according to FIGS. 4 to 5 and FIG 9 and 10, with the exception that the ring 3 in the embodiment according to FIGS. 11 and 12 is made of wood. Analogous to the designations chosen so far, the outer contour of the individual partial information carriers is designated by 16 ″ and the edge zone area by 16 ′, in which the holes 2a to 2o are arranged.
These holes 2a to 2o are arranged in each assigned partial information carrier 16a to 16o so that their central axis for each partial information carrier is the same distance from its surface line 16 '' 'lying in the central plane XII-XII of the retaining and binding ring 3.
This results in an arrangement of the partial information carriers for the entire stack 16 of the partial information carriers 16a to 16o in such a way that each of the area of a partial information carrier 16a to 16c or 16d to 16f or 16g to 16h or 16i to 16j or 16k uncovered areas 17,1 or 17111 or 171v or 17v or 17v, of the adjacent partial information carrier 16d of group 1711 or 16g of group 17111 or
16i of group 171v or 16k of group 17v or 161 of group 17v, in increasing order from the uppermost smallest partial information carrier 16a to the uppermost largest partial information carrier 161 for continuously perceptible register-like information.
By choosing the shape and size of the individual partial information carriers or their grouping, in the embodiment of the subject matter of the invention according to FIGS. 11 and 12, the arrangement of recesses, as in the embodiments according to FIGS. 4 to 6, 7, 8 and 9, 10, is used , Application comes, superfluous.
The elements shown and explained in the individual described execution examples are also interchangeable with each other, 'For example, in each of the execution examples shown, the ring 3 can be made of metal, wood or plastic material or of other suitable rigid material. The individual partial information carriers 1a to 1r or 4a to 4r or 7a to 7r or 10a to 10r or 13a to 13r or 16a to 16o can be made from any desired, depending on the manufacturing process for the information carrier and its use or application.
Type of determination to be selected by printing with information that can be provided with information, preferably in front of rigid material, for example made of paper, cardboard, plastic, metal foil, fabric, leather, wood or the like.
Compared with the known information carriers explained at the beginning, the illustrated and described exemplary embodiments of the information carrier according to the invention have significant advantages. By arranging only one ring 3, which reaches through a hole in each of the individual partial information carriers, the possibility is created
that the individual partial information carriers, as in the known information carriers with several mutually assigned rings as a binding element, can be swiveled or turned over against each other in the manner of the pages of a book, but that, if it should be deemed necessary, these individual partial information carriers each individually or in groups of several like playing cards held in one hand, which are held together by the pressure of two fingers,
can be swiveled apart or peeled apart like a fan, which makes it possible to use the simplest means to train the information carrier so that it can be operated and used sufficiently quickly and easily even by an inexperienced operator with just one hand.
Furthermore, the ring-shaped binding of the individual partial information carriers offers the possibility of inexpensive means of creating a kind of handle, by means of which the book-shaped information carrier can be passed on from hand to hand and which at the same time also creates a simple and appropriate option for the information carrier a designated storage point safely and conveniently, for example by simply attaching it to hold it in place until it is to be used.
As has been shown, there are particular advantages here, for example in the storage of a large number of such information carriers in bookstores or in the presentation of such information carriers in the advertising design, for example of shop windows or other displays.
Furthermore, such a ring-shaped binding of the partial information carriers is a simple, cheap and yet expedient, but also shapely ne possibility to carry an information carrier used, for example, as an aid in tourism inconspicuously and comfortably with you, namely by this type of a is always held in the hand with a finger-striped key ring without causing unreasonable inconvenience for the wearer, although there is the advantage that just then
if such an information carrier contains information such as hiking trails or representations and / or descriptions of sights, these are always quickly and easily accessible.
It is not necessary for the holes of the individual partial information carriers to penetrate the surface of the partial information carrier at a certain predetermined point, although it is expedient for all partial information carriers to have their holes at the same position; However, it has been found to be particularly expedient if the holes of the individual partial information carriers are arranged as shown in their edge zone rich.
Furthermore, it is not necessary that all partial information carriers of an overall information carrier have the same shape, for example groups of polygonal and / or oval disk-shaped and / or circular disk-shaped partial information carriers can be combined with one another. Advantageously, the sizes of the individual species or
Groups of the partial information carriers are selected so that, when stacked on top of one another, each group of partial information carriers protrudes beyond the outer boundary contour of one or more further groups of partial information carriers at any point. Just as when the information carrier only has partial information carriers of the same shape, the individual partial information carriers can each have a shape similar to one another.
All of these embodiments make it easier to find the information you are looking for, since individual partial information carriers or individual groups of these each identify themselves in a register-like manner in that a part of a partial information carrier or a partial information carrier group always uses the adjacent partial information - mation carrier or
the neighboring partial information carrier = group protrudes. If, however, as in the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 10, the individual partial information carriers each have the same shape and / or size, there is the advantage that the partial information carriers made of relatively thin material or material that is relatively easy to damage then if these have different contours,
The risk of damage to the partial areas of partial information carriers which transmit other partial information carriers, which cannot be completely eliminated, is avoided with the simplest of means and at the same time a particularly elegant appearance of the entire information carrier is created.
Regardless of the type of shape for the individual partial information carriers, in a modified embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, the holes of the individual partial information carriers could be arranged with respect to their edge so that in the case of partial information carriers stacked in such a way that their surface lines lying in the center plane of the ring 3 align with each other,
the holes of the individual partial information carriers form a tube 2 with a curvature corresponding to the curvature of the ring. The holes of the individual partial information carriers could also be arranged with respect to their edge so that
that when partial information carriers are stacked on top of one another, their holes form a tube 2 with a curvature corresponding to the curvature of the ring and the surface lines lying in the central plane of the ring form a line curved approximately corresponding to the curvature of the central line of the ring.
On the other hand, the information carrier could also be designed such that the diameters of the holes in the partial information carriers are of different sizes. As a result, with a relatively large number of partial information carriers, the inevitable curvature of the holding and binding ring, which prevents their mobility, can be compensated for by adapting each individual partial information carrier to this curvature by means of an individual selection of the diameter of its hole.
It has been found that in many cases it is sufficient if the diameter of the holes in the partial information carriers corresponds to the diameter of the material forming the ring 3, apart from a movement tolerance.
The dimensional accuracy required in the last-described execution forms when introducing the holes in the individual partial information carriers, however, can at least largely be reduced if, as shown, the diameter of the holes of the partial information carrier is significantly larger than the diameter of the material forming the ring 3. In this training the difficulties that inevitably arise
if, in particular with a large number of partial information carriers bound by a ring, special requirements are placed on the dimensional accuracy of their holes, practically gone. The diameter of the holes of the partial information carrier is expediently about twice as large as the diameter of the material forming the ring 3.
In the case of partial information carriers with a polygonal contour, it has proven particularly expedient if the holes of the individual partial information carriers are each arranged in the region of a corner of the associated polygonal disk. In the case of partial information carriers with an oval contour, it is useful, but not absolutely necessary, if the holes of the individual partial information carriers are each arranged in the region of the smaller curvature of the contour of the associated oval disk.
In the case of information carriers, the individual partial information carriers of which have a shape similar to one another, for example according to FIGS. 11 and 12, it has proven to be particularly expedient if these individual partial information carriers are arranged relative to one another in such a way that the individual partial information carriers with regard to their surface area one from form smallest to largest increasing order.
For special applications, however, it can also be useful if these partial information carriers are arranged in such a way that, with regard to their area size, they form an order that rises from a smallest to a largest and then again down to a further smallest decreasing order with respect to the largest The second-mentioned smallest partial information carrier can have the same area size as the first-mentioned smallest partial information carrier or else a different area size than this.
It is also possible to arrange the individual partial information carriers of a similar shape relative to one another in such a way that they descend from an outer largest to a lowest point and then back to another located on the other side, with regard to the area size of the smallest partial information located at the lowest point. carrier with a larger area having partial information carriers form an increasing V-shaped order.
In the information carriers according to FIGS. 4 to 12, quick, easy and convenient removal of information is made possible by the fact that the areas of the next partial information carrier that are not covered by the surface of a partial information carrier when the partial information carrier lies on top of one another have continuously perceptible register-like information.
An area of the next following partial information carrier that is not covered by the surface of a partial information carrier could also be created in that partial information carriers of different contouring are combined with one another in such a way that one or more of the partial information carriers of one type of contouring have one or more at one or more points or several of the partial information carriers project beyond another type of contouring.
In the case of the Ausführungsfor men according to FIGS. 4 to 8, however, a different approach is taken in that the individual partial information carriers each have recesses of different sizes and preferably similar shapes, with the individual partial information carriers being arranged relative to one another so that
that when the partial information carriers lie on top of one another, their individual recesses at least partially overlap and form an increasing order with regard to their area size from the smallest to the largest, and that the area of the recess of the adjacent partial information carrier that is not covered by the surface of a partial information carrier is always constant has perceptible register-like information.
The recess of a partial information carrier is expediently arranged in such a way that part of its delimiting contour intersects the edge contour of the assigned partial information carrier.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 9, 10, the same success is again achieved in a different manner in that the individual partial information carriers each have recesses arranged along their delimiting contour and are arranged in such a way that they
that when the partial information carriers lie on top of one another in a falling order along their boundary contour in the direction of this decreasing order, an increasing number of recesses are covered from the partial information carrier to the partial information carrier, the area of the recess of the adjacent part not covered by the surface of a partial information carrier information carrier has constantly perceptible register-like information.
The partial information carriers of the information carrier can be divided into groups as described in such a way that one or more partial information carriers of the same configuration of a group of the same register-like information and one or more partial information carriers are the same, but the same compared to the first group of different designs of a further group register-type information are assigned.
An embodiment with partial information carriers in the form of circular disks, which is particularly favorable in terms of production technology and handling and at the same time has a particularly balanced aesthetic overall impression, results when the diameter of the top and / or the bottom partial information carrier of the stack of partial information carriers is approximately twice as large as the Outside diameter of the ring holding the partial information carriers together.
Instead of being a circular ring, the ring 3 could also be an oval ring or a polygonal ring profiling.
