les fig. 1 et 2, une installation pour la confection de fusées gâteaux > ;
la fig. 3, un support de fusée gâteau ;
la fig. 4, une installation pour la confection de fusées gâteaux et/ou de bobines classiques;
la fig. 5, une variante de réalisation du dispositif d'avance des guide-fils;
Device for making windings of threads
on a twisting and grinding machine
The invention relates to a device for making windings of threads on a twisting and grinding machine, hereinafter referred to as R cake rocket. A cake spindle consists of the arrangement in crossed turns of the wire according to a frustoconical surface in successive layers obtained by an advance parallel to the axis of the support on which has been previously threaded a flexible sheath intended to coat and hold the finished product in end of operation, after its removal from said support.
It is known that this cake rocket has the particular advantage of allowing the retraction of threads of all kinds and of facilitating dyeing by allowing the threads to keep their loft, the fibers being treated without constraint.
To date, for making a rocket cakes with twisted yarns, it has on a specially designed machine, coils obtained on a twisting or milling machine. Unfortunately, this double winding operation increases the cost price of the cake spindle and, moreover, risks damaging the wires.
The present invention, which aims to obviate these drawbacks, relates to a device for making windings of threads on a twisting and milling machine.
This device is characterized in that the bar carrying the yarn guides is moved parallel to the axis of the winding supports, mounted perpendicular to the front face of the machine, which are mechanically linked to each other in order to synchronize their rotational movements. which are supplied to them by means of a transmission by the motor driving the twisting yarn feed spools, the speed of rotation of which is, relative to that of said supports, in a constant but adjustable proportion.
The invention will be clearly understood with the aid of the description below given by way of example with reference to the appended drawing which represents:
figs. 1 and 2, an installation for making cake rockets>;
fig. 3, a cake rocket rack;
fig. 4, an installation for making classic cake rockets and / or coils;
fig. 5, an alternative embodiment of the device for advancing the thread guides;
fig. 6, a detail view.
The twisting machine consists of a frame 1 on which several spindles 2 are mounted for the coils 3 for supplying the twisting yarn. These pins are driven in rotation with the aid of a motor 4 and by means of any known means 5. The wire 6 is then passed through a wire guide 7. The spindle cake consisting of a winding with crossed turns of yarns twisted on a frustoconical surface and in successive layers by an advance parallel to the axis, provision is made to move the yarn guides 7 in translation parallel to the support 8 of the cake spindle and to give them an oscillating movement in a plane so to speak parallel to one of the generatrices of the truncated cone.
Oscillating motion is given by a set of levers 9 and by a cam 10 such as a cam with a groove cut into the side surface of a cylinder. The advance movement parallel to the axis of the support 8 is given by a wheel and worm device 1 1 supplemented by a speed variator 12, acting on carriages 34 guided by bars 35 parallel to the bars 22, which carriages are fixed on the carrying bar of the thread guides 36 traversing the entire machine lengthwise. The bar 36 is driven in the same movement over its entire length thanks to the chains 37 for driving the carriages, arranged in each compartment, the ends of which are connected to each end of the carriages 34.
In an alternative embodiment, this advance is given by a ratchet wheel 14 (FIG. 5), the action of which of the pawl 15 is controlled by a ramp 16 such that it only drives the ratchet wheel in rotation. on a determined and adjustable angle. A system for disengaging this advance is provided by manual displacement of the bar carrying the yarn guides 7, in particular at the end of the operation. It should be noted that the speed variators, whatever they are, are intended to make the speed of advance of the carrying bar of the wire guides 7 independent and adjustable with respect to that of oscillation of the wire guides, of rotation of supports 8 and spindles 2 of the machine.
These variators will therefore make it possible to obtain, in all circumstances and according to necessity, the suitable thickness of material on the cake spindle.The variators indicated here are preferably given by way of example because they ensure a sufficiently wide speed range with easy adjustment, given the great variety of threads to be worked in titling and in kind.
In addition, a differential, constantly moving the web of turns at the time of their winding, prevents an accumulation of turns due to the back and forth of the thread guide on the large diameter of the rocket cakes and to make it even more permeable to dye products and more suitable for ensuring good deflection after shrinkage and / or dyeing. The ratchet-holder lever 15, integral with an arm 40, gives an oscillating movement to the friction 41, freely rotating on the shaft A and pushed on the disc 42 integral with the shaft.
The bush 43 of the reduction pinion of the advance control of the carriages, according to fig. 6, has a large notch allowing the shaft A to oscillate over a certain angle without the movement forcing on the pinion teeth at each oscillation.
Thus, the supporting bar of the yarn guides receives a constant back and forth movement of the differential and a regular advance of the ratchet system.
The cake rocket supports 8 are driven in rotation by a transmission 17, guaranteeing the synchronization of their movement, this transmission 17 taking its source from the motor 4 by means of an adequate reduction 18. In order to ensure uniform tension and / or twist of the wire 6 when winding between the small and the large diameter of the spindle, the supports 8 can be driven at a variable speed by means of a pulley 19 with variable diameter. This pulley is made up of several sectors 20 applied towards the axis by at least one strong elastic element and capable of being separated by a cone 21.
The cake rocket support 8 is threaded onto a bar 22 around which it can rotate freely under the action of the transmission, this transmission being connected, for driving said support 8, to a ring 23, comprising a lug 23 bis. Thus achieved, by a slight dislocation of the support, said ring 23 can rotate freely behind said support 8 thereby remaining fixed, for example to allow reattaching of the wire which would have broken; for this purpose, provision is also made for stopping the corresponding spindle.
In a preferred embodiment, the support 8 consists of a hollow shaft 24, one of the sides of which is engaged inside a hub 25 in which are fixed, by one of their ends, rods 26. judiciously bent to make the generatrices of the support
The other end of these rods 26 rests on the ramps 27 of a sliding hub 28; the release of this sliding hub 28 allows the withdrawal of the finished product by reducing the diameter of the support 8.
The outer parts of the hubs 25 and 28 are turned to receive the rings 29 capable of holding in place the excess lengths of a sheath 30 stretched over the rods 26. This sheath will make it possible to preserve the finished cake spindle during transport, storage or storage. treatment.
In an alternative embodiment, the installation also allows the making of conventional spools of twisted yarns. The necessary movement for the winding support is then taken on the shaft 31 of the friction drums 32 for driving the wire 6 towards said conventional spools 33. Thus achieved, it is possible to switch from one type of winding to the other without modifying the twist of the wire 6.
