2 in axialer Richtung abgestützt.
The invention relates to a further development of the control device described in the claim of the main patent, on an infinitely adjustable cone disc gear, which has at least one mechanical pressing device, which consists of a non-rotatable but axially displaceable against the action of a compression spring on a gear shaft arranged and against a stop in the axial direction supported on one side cam sleeve with pairs of mutually increasing,
Helical cam tracks vary the pitch and there are similar cam tracks in the end face of a part connected to a displaceable conical pulley and rolling elements arranged between the cam tracks, the torque being transmitted to the conical pulley via the cam sleeve and the rolling elements with simultaneous generation of an axial to which Conical disk acting contact pressure, which cam sleeve is designed as a damping piston, which separates a fluid-filled damping cylinder rotating with the gear shaft from a fluid-filled cylinder space that is also rotating,
the damping cylinder space being connected to the cylinder space by at least one throttle point, and which during its displacement against the force of a spring forces the liquid to flow back through the throttle point (s) from the damping cylinder space into the cylinder space.
The pressing device generates under the torque prevailing on the gear shaft a torque and the slope of the cam tracks propor tio nal axial pressure, the rolling elements run up more or less on the cam tracks depending on the set translation.
If the direction of torque changes while the direction of rotation remains the same, then the rolling elements that create the frictional connection between the cooperating cam tracks must now come to rest on oppositely rising cam tracks, which, depending on the gear ratio set, means more or less large turnover paths for the rolling elements. So that the rolling bodies do not lift off the cam tracks during this process, the cam sleeve is axially displaceable on the gear shaft in a known manner and is under the action of a compression spring which presses the cam sleeve against the axially displaceable conical disc, so that the rolling bodies move along the curves are kept in system and move down on the previously used cam tracks to the bottom of the curve.
When the rolling elements then move back up to the new working point on the oppositely rising cam tracks, the curve sleeve is pushed back against the force of the compression spring back into its starting position (normal operating position), in which it is in the axial direction against a shaft collar or the like . supports.
The upward movement of the rolling elements on the curve path to the new operating point must be dampened in order to avoid intermittent loading of the transmission. Mechanical damping devices provided for this have not proven effective.
In the device described in the additional patent 384 318, the problems occurring with the known mechanical braking devices are solved in that the curve sleeve is designed as a damping piston that separates a fluid-filled damping cylinder space that encircles the transmission shaft and a fluid-filled cylinder space that also encircles separates, and that one-sided throttle valves are arranged in the damping piston,
which, when the torque direction changes during the displacement of the curve sleeve in the sense of the direction of force of the compression spring, allow the fluid to pass freely from the cylinder chamber into the damping cylinder chamber, while the subsequent opposite displacement of the curve sleeve forces the fluid to pass through throttle bores from the damping cylinder chamber into the cylinder chamber to flow back.
As a result of these measures, the cam sleeve can move quickly and without significant resistance under the action of the compression spring against the movable conical disk when the torque changes, and guide the rolling elements along the cam path into the base of the curve and hold them in contact while they move backwards - Is very strongly damped, depending on the speed, because the pressure fluid can now only flow back from the damping cylinder chamber through the throttle bores into the pressure chamber.
The one-way throttle valves can be designed in various ways. The designs described in additional patent 384 318 provide for a division of the throttle valve into a check valve and the actual throttle point. The throttle point is attached as a permanently open throttle bore in the damping piston and connects the damping cylinder space with the cylinder space,
while the check valve consists of a spring-loaded valve also provided in the damping piston with a large passage cross-section and allows the liquid to flow through only in the sense of the direction of force of the compression spring.
It does not matter whether a flap or slide control is provided for this check valve, which on the one hand should allow passage from the cylinder chamber into the damping cylinder chamber with as little pressure as possible, but which on the other hand has to withstand pressures of the order of magnitude of 100 kp / cm2, is the installation difficult because of the limited installation space. The structure of the valve is also relatively complicated and therefore prone to failure.
The invention has set itself the task of simplifying the manufacture of the throttle valve, thereby simultaneously increasing the operational reliability and further facilitating the installation of this element in the damping device.
In the manner according to the invention, this is achieved in that the damping piston consists of a flange firmly connected to the curve sleeve and a sealing washer that acts as a drag valve and that when the flange is shifted in the direction of the spring force between the sealing washer and the flange, a gap with a large passage cross-section for the Liquid arises before the sealing washer is dragged along by the flange, while in the subsequent opposite direction of movement of the flange, it comes into contact with the sealing washer again, so that the liquid only passes through the throttling points)
can flow back into the cylinder space.
Here, the throttle point can be attached in the flange, in the sealing disk, in the cylinder wall associated with the damping piston or in the shaft.
If the throttling points are fitted in the cylinder wall associated with the damping piston or in the shaft, they can consist of notches over which the damping piston can slide during its axial movement and thus open them more or less.
The regulating effect of the damping piston can be supported by the fact that the throttle inlet and / or outlet openings have non-uniform cross-sections in the axial direction. With this it can be sufficient that the last path of the damping piston is dampened very strongly in the case of large turning paths, while the initial piston movement can proceed quickly against the force of the compression spring.
A very simple manufacturing design of the damping device results when the sealing washer is formed by a piston ring arranged on the periphery of the flange and this piston ring gapes at its joint so that the liquid can only pass through this joint in a throttled manner. The sealing washer can, however, also be arranged at the end of the flange or also in its bore.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown schematically, namely: FIG. 1 shows the longitudinal section through the two shafts of a hydraulically controlled conical pulley belt transmission with the control device according to the invention, FIGS. 2 and 3 explain the operation of this control device, FIG to 7 show different embodiments of the subject matter of the invention with drag valves attached to the circumference of the damping piston,
Fig. 8 shows the same embodiment with a variable throttle position by the axial displacement of the damping piston, Fig. 9 shows the subject of the invention with a tow valve mounted in the bore of the damping piston.
The transmission according to FIG. 1 is shown as a conical pulley belt transmission. A pair of conical disks 3/4 and 5/6 is mounted on two parallel Wel len 1 and 2. The conical disks 3 and 5 are rotatably and axially displaceably mounted on the associated shafts 1 and 2. The conical disks 4 and 6 are non-rotatably connected to the conical disks 3 and 5, but are axially displaceable, and are supported in the axial direction via longitudinal bearings 7 and 8, respectively, against the shafts 1 and 2. An endless traction element strand 53 runs between the conical pulley pairs 3/4 and 5/6.
The conical disks 3 and 5 carry on the end faces of their hubs 9 and 10 cam tracks 11 and 12, which work together with the intermediary of rolling elements 13 and 14 with cam tracks 15 and 16, which are fixed on the front side with one shaft 1 and 2 respectively connected curve sleeve 17 and 18 are arranged.
The cam sleeves 17, 18 are axially displaceable but non-rotatably arranged on the shafts 1, 2 and are supported by a compression spring 19 - or 20. In the normal position, the curved sleeves 17 and 18 lie with their end faces 21, 22 opposite the curved paths against a stop 23 and 24 and are thus prevented from further axial displacement, as is shown in the curved sleeve 18. The cam sleeve 17, on the other hand, is drawn in the position it assumes when the torque changes. It has been moved against the conical disk 3 by the force of the compression spring 19 and has guided the rolling elements 13 to the lowest point of the cam tracks 11 and 15.
A damping cylinder 25 and 26 is arranged on each of the shafts 1 and 2 on the side of the movable conical disks 3 and 5, which is supported against a collar of the shaft in the axial direction and at the same time also the stops 23 and 24 for the cam sleeve 17 and 18 forms. In the damping cylinders 25, 26 there are arranged damping pistons 87 and 86, which separate the damping cylinder space 29 and 30 from pressure chambers 31 and 32, which on the one hand are formed by the damping cylinders 25 and 30, respectively.
26 and on the other hand by the movable disks 3 and 5 and a flange 33 and 34 arranged on these disks 3, 5.
A hydraulic fluid is introduced into each of the pressure spaces 31 and 32 through the pressure lines 35 and 36, which are only shown schematically, through the hollow shafts 1 and 2. The pressure fluid itself is taken from a container 37 and supplied by a gear pump 38 via a pressure relief valve 39 to a control cylinder 40 which allocates the pressure fluid to the two pressure chambers 31 and 32, respectively. The pressure fluid flows back via the return lines 45 or 46 and an adjustable throttle valve 47.
It is assumed that shaft 1 is the shaft connected to the driving motor, while shaft 2 is connected to a shaft to be driven. Since, according to the representation in FIG. 1, the traction element strand 53 runs on the output side on the smallest running radius, the transmission is in a very fast transmission. The driven-side rolling bodies 14 are in the curve of the base of the curved tracks l2 / 16 because the disks 5/6 have moved completely apart.
On the drive side (shaft 1), the conical disks 3/4 go completely together and the rolling elements 13 have also been guided into the bottom of the curve of the cam tracks 11115 by the axial displacement of the cam sleeve 17 caused by the spring 19. This corresponds to the no-load condition of the transmission. If the shaft 1 is now rotated, the cam sleeve 17 rotates with it, while the drive cone pulleys 3/4 initially still remain. The roller bodies 13 run up on the opposite cam tracks 11 and 15 and thus press the cam sleeve 17 back in the axial direction until its end face 21 comes to rest against the stop 23.
Since a further evasive movement of the cam sleeve 17 is not possible, the torque that acts on the shaft 1 is now transmitted from the cam sleeve 17 via the rolling element 13 to the pulley set 3/4, at the same time the torque on the shaft 1 is proportional and from the set transmission ratio dependent axial pressure forces are exerted on the conical disk 3, which clamps the traction element 53 between itself and the axially immovable conical disk 4 with such a force that the transmission of frictional force is ensured.
On the output side (shaft 2), the rolling elements 14 also try to run up the cam tracks 12/16 under the effect of the output torque, but could only do so by simultaneously changing the running radius of the traction cable 53.
The torque on the output side is transmitted from the traction cable 53 via the conical pulley pair 5/6, the cam track 12, the rolling elements 14, the cam track 16 to the cam sleeve 18 and thus to the output shaft 2, whereby at the same time axial pressing forces are created which affect both the torque the shaft 2 are proportional as well as in size dependent on the set translation.
It is now further assumed that the direction of the torque at the output suddenly reverses. Since the cam sleeve 18 is already in contact with the stop 24, the conditions on the output side do not change; However, since the direction of torque is reversed on the drive side, there occurs a relative rotation between the shaft 1 and the cam sleeve 17 to the pulley set 3/4, the rolling elements 13 run in the direction of the curve base and are shifted to the right by the compression spring 19 Curved sleeve 17 held in plant.
In the further course, the rolling bodies 13 now move up the curve branches of the curved paths 11115 , which rise in the opposite direction, and press the curve sleeve 17 back again until their end face 21 comes to rest against the stop 23. In the limit ratio of the transmission so the order of the rolling element 13/14 is zero on one set of disks and a maximum on the other. If the gear ratio is set differently, this process requires more or less large turning paths for both rolling elements 13 and 14.
As long as the rolling elements i3 / 14 move from an outer point of the cam track to the curve base during such a reversal process, the cam sleeves 17/18 should move quickly towards the center of the gearbox in order to keep the rolling elements in contact with the cam tracks. As soon as the rolling elements start running up again on the opposite cam tracks in accordance with the changed torque direction, the cam sleeves 17/18 should only move slowly (attenuated) back towards their stops 23/24 in order to avoid impacts .
For this purpose, the curved sleeves 17 and 18, as already mentioned, are designed as damping pistons 87 and 88, which separate the damping cylinder chamber 29 and 30 from the pressure chamber 31 and 32, respectively. In FIG. 1, throttle bodies 159 and 160 can also be seen in the damping piston 87 and 88, which connect the damping cylinder chamber 29 and 30 with the pressure chamber 31 and 32, respectively.
The damping piston 87 or 88 consists of two parts lying coaxially on top of one another, on the one hand from the curved sleeve 17 or 18 and on the other hand from a circular sealing washer 130 or 131. The sealing washers 130, 131 are on their circumference equipped with sealing means, which prevent an unwanted overflow of the pressure fluid from the damping cylinder chambers 29 and 30 in the pressure chambers 31 and 32, respectively. The sealing disk 130 or 131 can move freely in the axial direction between the cam sleeve 17 or 18 and a support ring 132 or 133.
When the torque changes, the cam sleeves 17 and 18, caused by the springs 19 and 20, move towards the conical disks, the sealing disks 130, 131 maintaining their original position in the first part of this longitudinal movement and only in the further course of the longitudinal movement through the support rings 132, 133 can be taken along. This creates an annular gap with a large cross-section between the curved sleeves 17, 18 and the sealing disks 130, 131, 131, which creates an annular gap with a large cross-section, which allows the liquid to flow over almost without pressure from the pressure chambers 31, 32 into the Damping cylinder spaces 29 and 30 are permitted.
In the further course of the relative rotational movement between the parts 3/17 or 5/18 , the cam sleeve 17 or 18 is replaced by the rolling element 13 or 14 again pushed away from the conical disks. The axial movement of the cam sleeve 17 or 18 is taken over by the sealing washer 130 or 131 as soon as this sealing washer 130 or 131 is attached to the end face of the cam sleeve 17 or the washer facing away from the washers. 18 is present.
The circular ring-shaped gap is closed and the hydraulic fluid is forced to flow back through the throttle points 159 and 160 from the damping cylinder chamber 29 and 30 into the pressure chamber 31 and 32, respectively. The axial movement of the cam sleeves 17 or 18 away from the conical disks is damped to a greater or lesser extent depending on the design of the throttle point 159 or 160. Compared to the embodiment described in the additional patent 384 318, the device according to the invention has the advantage that it is much more reliable and easier to manufacture. The mode of operation is improved and a special spring on the sealing disks 130, 131 is avoided.
The damping piston 87 is shown again in FIGS. 2 and 3, namely, FIG. 2 shows the damping piston during its axial movement towards the conical disks, ie to the right in the plane of the drawing, while FIG. 3 shows the damping piston during its backward movement , i.e. away from the conical disks, to the left in the plane of the drawing.
Fig. 4 shows the subject of the invention with a fully made of sealing material sealing washer be 134 with in the Dichtscheib3 designed as simple bores throttle points 135. It is thus the A bring seals 140 in the sealing washers 130 of the embodiment of FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 avoided.
Another possible embodiment is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a piston ring 136 being inserted into the circumference of the cam sleeve 17. The piston ring 136 is not completely closed at its joint 137 . The resulting opening simultaneously forms the throttle point which connects the damping cylinder chamber 29 with the pressure chamber 31.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 7, a sealing washer 138 made of sealing material is let into the circumference of the curved sleeve 17. A support ring 139 pressed against the curve sleeve 17 by cup springs 136 limits the axial play of the sealing disk 138. In this embodiment, too, the throttle bodies 135 are formed by bores that penetrate the sealing disk 138. The advantage of this construction can be seen in the simple manufacture of the subject matter of the invention.
In Fig. 8 the invention is shown on a just if embedded in the circumference of the curve sleeve 17 consisting of sealing material sealing washer 144, but provided in the cylinder wall throttle points 145. The throttle points 145 are formed by a number of notches distributed through the sealing disc 144 are more or less released for the pressure fluid to flow over from the damping cylinder chamber 29 into the pressure chamber 31.
This effect can be controlled in that the notches have uneven cross-sections in the axial direction, so that when the sealing ring 144 is pushed over the notches 145, the throttle points are opened more or less depending on the axial movement of the damping piston 87. The damping effect is therefore dependent on the longitudinal movement of the damping piston 87 or on the relative rotational movement between the curve sleeve 17 and the part 3. This also enables the rolling elements 13 to slide gently into the end position.
In FIG. 9, a sealing washer 147, likewise consisting of sealing material, is accommodated in the bore of the curved sleeve 17 and at the same time has axial bores as a throttle point 148. In this case, the damping piston 87 is sealed off from the damping cylinder 25 by a sealing ring 149.
