Actuating device for opening windows, in particular for ventilation windows in greenhouses
The invention relates to an actuating device for vent windows, in particular for ventilation windows of greenhouses, with at least one pivotable or displaceable support bracket connected to the window and arranged in a plane intersecting the window plane. The actuating devices known so far are either levers or racks. When the lever is operated, the levers attached to the ventilation windows and the purlins run along the greenhouse and they are operated via a winch on the gable.
There is considerable force along the greenhouse and the gable has to be reinforced for this reason.
The racks have the disadvantage of high manufacturing costs and the pinion meshing with the rack must also have a certain minimum size for reasons of functionality. A larger pinion, however, requires a correspondingly greater torque in order to be able to apply the necessary displacement force. In the case of a motor-driven pinion, a stronger, i.e. H. more expensive engine required.
All in all it is a very expensive construction.
In order to avoid these disadvantages mentioned, it is proposed in the case of the actuating device for hinged windows according to the invention that the free end of the hinged support is connected to a drivable winding device onto which a winding device arranged in the pivoting or sliding plane of the hinged support and tensioned by the window weight. Tape or rope can be wound up, the free end of the tape or cable being attached to the greenhouse and the tape or cable being stretched when the opening window is closed and at least partially wound up when the winding device is open.
This eliminates the unwanted load on the gable and, moreover, this construction is simple, cheap and reliable. In addition, there is the advantage that the diameter of the winding device can be kept particularly small and that a motor with a relatively low torque is sufficient for a motor-operated winding device.
In the case of a pivotably arranged window, an opening device which is usually articulated to the window is sufficient for opening. However, two or more pop-out props are required for windows that can be opened in parallel.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the winding device is designed at the same time as a rolling device to support the deployment support and is guided on a running rail arranged in the pivoting or sliding plane of the deployment support. This running rail can be supported in such a way that the forces transmitted via the deployment support are transmitted to correspondingly strong parts of the greenhouse truss. A light and inexpensive construction can thus be chosen for the gable.
The running rail is preferably inclined in relation to a horizontal plane and its upper end is supported on a truss of the greenhouse. As a result of this inclination, the support device tends to roll away downwards, and it tensions the tape connected to its winding device.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the winding device is connected to the drive of a climbing motor, which moves upwards when the window is opened and correspondingly moves downwards when it is closed. The climbing motor is easily guided parallel to the running rail on rollers with a torque arm.
The winding device is preferably designed as a shaft and on this shaft lie a plurality of deployment supports n which are pivotable in parallel planes and whose associated bands can be wound onto the shaft. A common drive is therefore sufficient for a whole strip of windows or a whole series of windows lying next to one another. It is best to place the motor in the middle of the shaft. Usually an entire ribbon of windows is operated over several hinged supports. In order to create enough points of attack, the pop-up support has a V-shaped shape and its two legs are arranged approximately at the free ends of the pop-up window.
This results in a cheap construction compared to rack actuation, because a V-shaped lever replaces two racks. In order to keep the friction between the shaft and the deployment support low, the latter is supported on the shaft via at least one roller, according to a particularly preferred embodiment. In order to protect against gusts of air that can seize the exposed window from below and tear it up, according to a further embodiment, a bracket that encompasses the running rail is arranged on the end of the opening supports resting on the running rail. Lift off the resting end of the support in the underside of the.
Notches arranged on the running rail engages.
According to another preferred embodiment, the safety bracket is pivotable and the running rail is arranged with play around the resting end of the deployment support and is supported in a sliding or rolling manner on the running surface of the running rail, the winding shaft and the distribution support being mounted on the safety bracket in such a way that at relieved winding device the moment resulting from the window and the winding shaft weight with regard to the support point of the safety bracket on the running rail acts in the opposite sense as with a loaded winding device,
and in which the part of the safety bracket which is in contact with the undersurface of the running rail when the winding shaft is loaded is provided with a sliding surface and that which is in contact with a friction surface or edge when the winding shaft is unloaded. This results in a load on the winding device in the normal case, namely when the winding device hangs on the belt or winds it up. Reliefg takes place either when the winding device or the deployment support rest on the lower frame or when the window is lifted in the wind, thus relieving the tension of the belt.
The lower surface of the running rail is preferably provided with a knurl, which enables a combined frictional and positive fit to be achieved.
Furthermore, it is particularly expedient that the safety bracket is supported on the running surface of the running rail via a roller, so that during the normal opening movement only the relatively low roller friction occurs at the resting point of the opening supports.
The band is preferably designed as a flat steel band, which on the one hand can withstand high loads and on the other hand results in a small increase in diameter per layer. It usually rests on the running rail.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the free end of the belt is attached to the greenhouse or the running rail by means of an adjusting device. On the basis of this adjustment device, the length of the individual bands can be adjusted individually. This adjustment option for the belts is necessary because the shaft becomes twisted when it is longer and the belts therefore have to turn in accordance with the respective angle of rotation of the shaft. The adjustment can be achieved, for example, by providing the free end of the belt with a threaded bolt which can be moved lengthways in a nut that can be rotated on the greenhouse or on the running rail, but cannot be moved.
According to another preferred embodiment, the axis of rotation of the vent window 111 is in one '. the interior of the greenhouse extending distance in front of the window level. In this way, the center of gravity of the wing is also at a distance from the axis of rotation, so that, due to its own weight, a torque is generated which guides the wing into the closed end position and presses it tightly in this position. For wings with an inclined. closed end position, it is sufficient in itself to hit them in the usual way to achieve a tight fit in the closed position.
In the case of sashes, however, the closed end position is vertical, it is necessary to pass through. the dead weight to generate an additional torque so that it is in the closed end position. fit tightly.
In a further embodiment of the invention, in a device for a vent window with a rain gutter arranged approximately at the intersection of the window plane and a roof plane, the axis of rotation of the window is arranged on the inner flank of the rain gutter and in the closed position the window rests sealingly on the outer flank of the rain gutter .
Since the rain gutter is tightly connected to the roof and the window also rests tightly against the rain gutter in the closed position, rain or splash water cannot penetrate the greenhouse when the window is closed. The arrangement of the axis of rotation on the inner flank of the gutter creates a considerable gap between the gutter and window when the window is open! through which the warm air rising from below can flow out. The accumulation of air under the inclined window tris, which occurs when the window is usually opened. thus not on.
It is particularly useful that the axis of rotation of the window on the outside. the inner flank of the RegenTinne is arranged because this means that the bearings of the axis of rotation are not. are exposed to the weather and therefore cannot get dirty. This also prevents the lubricant from being washed out by rainwater.
In a particularly advantageous manner, the window is connected at its upper transverse edge to a cover strip or the like, which in the closed position engages around the free edge of the outer flank of the rain gutter from the outside. This provides additional protection against the ingress of water into the greenhouse.
This protection is particularly useful if the seal between the rain gutter and the window deteriorates over time or is ineffective due to poor assembly or thermal expansion.
The winding device is preferably provided with a support and guide device for the free end of the deployment support, which supports the weight of the window and any wind forces that may occur.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the winding shaft of the winding device is supported on the guide device by means of rollers. In this way, the friction losses during actuation are kept low, so that a drive motor of relatively small dimensions is sufficient for the actuation device.
The guide device is expediently designed as a U-rail and the tape of the winding device runs between the U-legs, whereby a lateral displacement of the tape is excluded. It is possible to support the winding shaft directly or by means of rollers on the U-legs. According to another preferred embodiment, the guide device is designed as a T-rail and the tape of the winding device is arranged between the rollers and the bottom flange of the T-rail. Good lateral guidance of the belt is also achieved in this way.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the wool or a member connected to it is coupled to a limit switch for the climbing motor and the window is connected to the climbing motor via an idle member that only transmits pressure forces.
If no compressive forces act on the idle member, it can perform its idle movement. The limit switch coupled to the shaft or a link connected to it is now arranged in such a way that it can only be actuated during idling; H. When using a pushbutton switch, the stroke movement of the pushbutton is assigned to the idle movement. If you disregard the switching forces, the idle link is only force-free when the window is closed.
The idle member essentially has the task of enabling the shaft or a member coupled to it to continue running in the closing direction after the closing process has ended. This additional movement ensures that the climbing motor will definitely only then. switches off when the window is completely closed.
A large idle distance enables a correspondingly large setting range of the limit switch.
The use of a simply constructed switch is possible because of the idle link.
The idle member is preferably built into the deployment support, generally using a two-part deployment support. However, it is also conceivable to arrange the idle member at one of the two ends of the deployment support.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the idle member is designed as a rod end which can be displaced in a sleeve and which rests against a stop in the inserted end position. A collar or shoulder in the sleeve or its front edge can serve as a flap. Another advantageous embodiment consists in designing the idle member as a sliding block, pin or the like that can be displaced in an elongated hole.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the articulation point of the bracket on the window is arranged below the articulation point of the deployment support and a stop limiting the outward pivoting movement of the upper wing end is provided. Due to the selected articulation, the window performs an exactly predetermined movement when it is opened or in the final phase of the closing process. When opening, for example, the upper end of the window initially lifts off the rain gutter, with the window itself tilting around its lower edge. If it is against the stop, the usual opening movement follows, with the window around. the pivot point of the bracket is pivoted outwards.
Conversely, the upper end of the window is placed against the gutter or a sealing strip attached there only with the last Schliessbe movement. This enables the sealing point on the gutter to be opened and closed cleanly and gently.
The stop for the window is preferably designed as a link which only transmits tensile forces and is relieved of stress when the window is closed, in particular a chain, one end of which is arranged on the bracket and the other end on the window above the bracket hinge point. This embodiment has both financial advantages and advantages in terms of production and assembly technology.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the roller for supporting the winding shaft is seen in the longitudinal direction of the deployment support behind the.
Winding shaft bearings, arranged approximately at the free end of the deployment support.

Fig. 12 is a partial cross section through a greenhouse as in Fig. 7, but with a different steering of the window.
13 shows the end of the deployment support resting on the support device in a side view according to a two embodiment.
The vent window 1 is mounted on the ridge 2 of the greenhouse so that it can pivot about the axis 3. The swivel movement is through! which is produced at a joint 4 at about the lower end of the opening window 1, the free end 6 of which is supported on the running rail 8 via the shaft 7. The support 5 has a V-shaped shape and its two arms 9, which extend from a cross member 10, s, in; d articulated approximately at the free ends 11 on the joints 4 of the vent window 1. Two bearing blocks 12, each with two rollers 13, 14, are attached to the cross member 10.
The latter establish the frictional connection between the vent window 1 and the shaft 7, i.e. H. they absorb the thrust transmitted to the pop-up prop 5 by the weight of the pop-up window. The thrust force thus transmitted to the shaft 7 is absorbed by a belt 15 resting on the running rail 8, the upper end of which is firmly connected to the running rail 8 at 16. The upper end of the belt 15 is arranged such that it can be displaced relative to the running rail e in a manner not shown in detail via an adjusting device. The other end of the band 15 can be wound onto the shaft 7 and is held there by means of a rivet bolt or the like.
The shaft 7 is connected to a climbing motor 17 in a manner not shown. In one direction of rotation of this climbing motor, the shaft 7 winds the tape 15 and in the other direction of rotation it unwinds it again. During winding, the shaft 7 together with the climbing motor 17 runs upwards along the running rail 8 and in doing so pivots the opening window 1 outwards via the opening support 5. Closing the window takes place in a correspondingly reverse manner.
Two more approximately Z-shaped catch brackets 18 are screwed onto the cross member 10 and run laterally past the running rail 8, which has a Z-shaped profile. The lower ends 19 of the catch bars 18 are connected to one another via a crosspiece 20.
In addition, 8 notches 22 are incorporated into the downwardly projecting swing 21 of the running rail. If the hinged window 1 is torn up by a gust of wind, the crosspiece 20 slides along the lower edge of the leg 21 of the running rail 8 until it engages in the closest notch 22, thereby ending the unwanted opening movement of the hinged window.
If longer or more vent windows are arranged next to one another, the shaft 7 is made correspondingly long and the vent supports 5, which are arranged at certain intervals, roll over tracks 13 on this shaft. They are all operated at the same time by a single climbing motor of the appropriate strength.
On the running surface 24 of the running rail 8, the safety bracket 18, 20 is supported via a roller 25 in FIG. 5. The catch bracket 18, 20 has a U-shaped shape. Its transverse web 20, which is supported on the running rail lower surface 26, has a sliding surface 27 on its part pointing upwards to the right and a friction edge 28 on its adjacent part pointing to the left.
A slide bearing 39 for supporting the winding shaft 7 is welded to the side surface 29 of the safety bracket pointing to the right. The wrapping tape 15 is partially wound onto the latter. This is attached to the upper end of the running rail 8 in a manner not shown. The free end 6 of the support 5 connected to the support bracket 18, 20 by means of a pivot axis 31 is L-shaped and the short leg 32 of this L is designed as a bearing bracket.
The roller 25 of the pivot axis 31 and the sliding bearing 30 for the winding shaft are arranged in such a way that, given the specified weights of the window including the opening support and the winding drive, when the winding shaft is relieved, ie. H. when resting on the lower frame or when the window is lifted by the wind, the fan. gbügel tilts around the supporting edge 33 of the roller 25 with the friction edge 28 of the crosspiece
20 on the running rail lower surface 26 is supported. The effect of this tilted safety bracket 18, 20 is that of a friction lock. With a knurling or file-like toothing of the running rail undersurface 26, a partly frictional and partly form-fitting locking is achieved.
In both cases, the bracket is shifted upwards and thus the window is opened by a clockwise torque acting on the bracket, i.e. H. clockwise moment not possible. Such a moment would occur, for example, if a gust of wind pressed against the underside of the exhibited window and tried to tear it up. Thus, the aforementioned friction lock or the safety bracket forms an effective safety device for such unintentional opening movements of the window.
When the winding shaft drive is loaded, the counterclockwise torques predominate due to the increased tensile force on the winding tape 15, so that the bracket rotates around the support edge 33 and now comes to rest with its sliding surface 27 on the lower surface of the running rail. In this position of the safety bracket, both opening and closing of the vent window are possible.
The device described in FIGS. 7 to 13 is predominantly mounted on vertical walls of greenhouses and is used for greenhouse ventilation.
The upper end 16 of a windable tape 15 is attached to a support pillar 34 at point 35. The other end 36 of the band 15 is firmly connected to a winding or climbing motor 17. If the winding motor is energized, it winds the tape by means of a winding device and moves along the support pillar 34. The winding shaft 7 forms an essential part of the winding device 37.
This serves on the one hand to wind the tape and, when using several tapes arranged at a distance from one another, on the other hand for transferring or torque transfer. It is therefore possible to wind several tapes 15 attached to different pillars 34 on one winding shaft. A V-shaped support 5 is supported on the winding shaft 7 via rollers 38 or bearing bushes 31. The latter is pivotably connected at the pivot point 40 to the opening window 1 of the greenhouse.
Now the climbing motor winds the tape 15 on the winding shaft 7 and migrates upwards, so also moves the articulated with the winding shaft ver related free end 6 of the prop 5 upwards.
Due to a support and guide device 41, this end is prevented from moving transversely to the longitudinal plane of the belt 15, i. H. when the winding motor is running, it must move along the gap 42 formed by the support pillar 34 and the support device 41. As a result of this movement process, the end 43 of the opening support 5 connected to the window 1 at the pivot point 40 pivots outwards and thereby rotates the window 1 about its axis of rotation 44.The latter is arranged at a distance 45 from the window level extending into the greenhouse interior. The connection is made via bracket 46.
With this construction, a torque is achieved due to the weight of the window itself. This torque is used to close the window and to press it tightly when closed.
The support device 41 consists essentially of a profile rail. In the embodiment of FIG. 9, it has a U-shaped cross section and in the embodiment of FIG. 10 it has a T-shaped cross section. The winding shaft 7 is supported either directly or via rollers 47 on the two legs 48 of the support device 41 (FIG. 9). In the embodiment according to FIG. 10, the shaft 7 is supported by rollers 49 on the bottom flange 50 of the T-rail. The belt 15 is arranged between the rollers 49 and the bottom flange 50. In this way a sideways leakage of the tape is prevented.
So that the window closes tightly at the top, its upper transverse edge 51 rests sealingly against the outer flank 52 of the rain gutter 53.
The axis of rotation 44 of the window is attached to the outside of the inner flank 54 of the rain gutter 53. It is thus protected against external influences by the rain gutter and the roof 55 of the greenhouse. In order to ensure that no water can penetrate between the window 1 and the outer flank 52 of the rain gutter, even if the sealing effect is left open, the window is additionally provided with a cover strip 56 on its upper transverse edge, which in the closed position forms the free edge 57 encompasses the outer flank 52 of the rain gutter 53 from the outside.
The deployment support 5 in FIG. 11 has a somewhat modified shape. Although it also has a substantially V-shaped shape, the knot point 58 of the inclined support elements is some distance from the shaft 7 Ent. A cross brace 59 is also seen from the emitter. The connection between the node 58 and the bearing bush 39 on the shaft 7 is established via a push rod 60. This construction has the advantage that the bearing bush 39 is only acted upon radially. The free end 61 of the push rod 60 protrudes into a sleeve 62 and together with the latter forms an idle member 63.
A collar 64, which cooperates with the end face 65 of the sleeve 62, is also arranged approximately at the free end 61 of the push rod 60. ? If the shaft 7 and thus the push rod 60 are displaced in the direction of arrow 66 by the climbing motor 17, not shown in this figure, the collar 64 rests against this end face 65 and if the advancing movement continues, the support is displaced in the same direction and pivoted at the same time.
If, on the other hand, the entire system is moved in the direction of the arrow 67, the collar 64 rests on the end face 65 as long as a compressive force is present, ie. H. as long as the window is not completely closed. If the climbing motor 17 continues to run, it pulls the push rod 60 out of the sleeve 62. This movement continues until the shaft 7 presses the limit switch 68 for the climbing motor 17. This limit switch can of course also be actuated by the collar 64 or by another organ that takes part in this further movement.
Instead of the idle link made up of the sleeve and rod end, a differently structured use can of course also be used. It would be conceivable, for example, to provide a part of the same with an elongated hole and the other with a sliding block, pin or the like that can be moved therein.
In Fig. 11 only one bearing bush 39 is provided and the push rod 60 extends. laterally of the support pillar 34. The shape of the deployment support 5 shown there can of course also be arranged symmetrically to the support pillar 34 and, in addition, instead of one, two bearing bushes can be provided, which would have to be connected to one another if necessary. The push rod 60 can be supported on this connection.
According to FIG. 13, the roller 49 for supporting the winding shaft 7 is arranged on the support and guide device 41, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the deployment support 5, behind the winding shaft 7 at the free end of the deployment support. This is extended by two bearing tabs 69 on which the rollers 49 are rotatably mounted by means of a shaft 70.
A second type of linkage. g of window 1 is shown in FIG. The articulation point 71 of the bracket 46 located at the window lies below the window-side articulation point 40 of the deployment support 5, namely approximately halfway up the sash or slightly below. Furthermore, a chain 73 is arranged between the upper end 72 of the deployment support and that of the window 1, which is relieved when the window sash is closed.
If the support is displaced by the winding motor, not shown, in the direction of the arrow 74, the window 1 first tilts about its lower edge 75 until the chain 73 is tensioned. The upper transverse duct 51 moves away from the outer flank 52 of the rain gutter 53, so that a small air gap is formed there. If the forward movement of the deployment support 5 continues, the window is pivoted in the direction of arrow 76 about the axis of rotation 44.
The closing process takes place in exactly the reverse order. First, the lower transverse edge 75 rests against the frame 77 and then the upper transverse swivels. edge 51 inward of the room until it rests against the outer flank of the gutter 53 in a sealing manner.
This construction therefore has two important advantages. Firstly, by briefly actuating the winding device, an upper air gap is formed through which ventilation can take place.
If you continue to press the window, it will be parked parallel to the frame at a short distance. Second, when the window is raised, the upper transverse edge 51 does not roll off at the sealing point.
