Pneumatic concrete conveyor
The invention relates to a compressed air concrete conveyor, which consists of one or more driving vessels with filling and outlet openings, connections for the compressed air supply, stirrers for the contents and devices for evenly distributing the conveyed material into the outlet opening.
In known devices of this type, the driving boiler is either charged with the ready-mixed concrete or, alternatively, the individual components are poured in separately and then mixed together. Mixing is done partly without and partly under air pressure. By mixing under pressure, the mixture or the mixed liquid is enriched with compressed air. Accidents and malfunctions often occur with devices of this type. These are due to the fact that the conveying line is unevenly penetrated with air and conveyed material. The result is irregular, often sudden and dangerous emptying.
There is also the disadvantage that when the driving vessel is completely emptied, the last remnants of the mixture are thrown out of the end of the line with extraordinary force by the expanding compressed air; becomes. In addition to the danger, this also results in considerable air consumption, which reduces profitability.
Known devices of this type are often not able to convey soapy or earth-moist concrete mixtures, but are dependent on flowable mixtures. In a known device of this type, this flowability is achieved in that the material being conveyed is mixed under pressure and with the addition of air-entraining additives. However, these air pores have considerable disadvantages in practice and often lead to uncontrollable liquefaction. One; Great dependence on the care of the operators is therefore the result.
The aim of the invention is to create a compressed air concrete conveyor with which earth-moist and thick-plastic concrete mix can be conveyed reliably and economically without annoying side effects and dangers. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the agitating elements sweeping through the inner circumference of the driving vessel feed the conveyed material to the metering blades, these meter the material evenly into an air stream running from the air inlet to the material outlet and that the supply of the compressed air, which acts as a means of transport and flowing into the inlet, is achieved by means of automatically acting volume control valves or by means of uniformly conveying air pumps in a specific, adjustable ratio to the speed of the conveyed goods distribution devices or
to the amount of material to be conveyed leaving the outlet of the driving boiler.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown. The figure shows a section through a compressed air concrete conveyor.
The cylindrical mixing and propellant container 1 is stationary and mounted essentially horizontally with respect to its longitudinal axis. It has a funnel 2 with the quick-release opening 11, via which it is charged with the mixture components. The entire contents are then mixed up by the mixing mechanism consisting of mixing shaft 4 and mixing arms 5 and fed to the metering blades 6 arranged at one end of the mixing shaft 4.
When the mixing process is complete, the propellant air supply is opened through connection 7. Since the mix is preferably thick plastic and not flowable, a short-circuit air flow forms between connection 7 and material outlet 3. With each rotation of the mixing shaft 4, the metering blades 6 then guide the non-flowable, stiff plastic or earth-moist concrete mix through this air flow, which in turn feeds the material flushes into the delivery line 12.
At a certain speed of the mixer and a certain amount of air, this results in a material-air mixture with a uniform composition and thus a calm and safe material flow with economical air consumption.
The even amount of air that enters through port 7 is achieved either by suitable flow control valves or by air pumps that deliver evenly.
By applying compressed air to the remaining tank contents via the upper air connection 8, the amount of material discharged can also be further regulated.
A regulation of the amount of material is also determined by the speed of the mixing shaft 4 or the frequency of rotation of the metering blades 6. By automatically changing the mixer shaft speed 4 or the pressure and the supply of the upper air at connection 8, for example depending on the pressure in the delivery line 13, the delivery process can be influenced in a precisely defined manner.
An outlet valve 9 enables the delivery to be interrupted or, if desired, the contents to be mixed under pressure.
In order to prevent the boiler from being blown empty and the associated segregation phenomena due to the high flow velocity in the conveying line 13, a weight-dependent switch 10 can be provided which shuts down the mixing shaft 4 or the compressed air supply when the mixing boiler 1 is emptied at a certain level or switches it to a second twin boiler .
In the same way, the same switching process can be achieved via a known switch which is dependent on the drive torque of the mixing shaft 4 and responds to the torque.
In another possible embodiment of the inventive concept, the metering blades 6 are not arranged on the mixing shaft 4, but on a special drive shaft with an independent speed to achieve special effects.
It may also be necessary to replace the metering panels 6 with other metering devices, for example metering screws or similar metering devices having a displacement effect, which operate independently of the mixing shaft 4 and are arranged in the vicinity of the outlet opening 3 on the propellant boiler 1. This is particularly the case with flowable concrete mixes.
In the case of earth-moist or stiff plastic material that does not flow by itself, it is necessary that the mixing blades 5 coat the entire inner circumference of the boiler 1, which ensures that its entire content is fed to the metering blades 6 and thus to the propellant air flow.
In practice, it has proven to be expedient to arrange the propellant air connection 7 and the material outlet 3 on the underside of the boiler close to one another so that the metering blades 6 sweep past them and guide the material into the propellant air flow in a precisely predetermined manner.
A shielding plate 12 arranged above the material outlet 3 acts in the sense of a more precise metering, in particular with more plastic mixtures.
A uniform flow of material is further promoted if a further air connection 14 is provided behind the material outlet 3 in the conveying line 13, here compressed air is supplied in a certain amount, preferably so that this amount of air is in a certain ratio to the amount of air entering the propellant air connection 7.
In a certain mode of operation of this compressed air conveyor, the compressed air connection 8 can also be provided with an overflow valve, the overflow connection of which is connected to the connection 14. If the pressure in the delivery line rises too much, i. H. If the material filling is too high, air will escape at connection 8 and enter the delivery line directly at connection 14, where it will dilute the material. This results in a pressure drop due to the resulting lower material filling.
A particularly safe mode of operation is when the air connections 7, 14 and 8 are firmly connected to the individual cylinders of a multi-cylinder compressor for a specific material to be conveyed. Each connection then always receives exactly the same amount of air, which leads to an operationally reliable, uniform and always loosened material flow through the line 13 with the same proportion of air.
