Clamping ring for the shockproof closing of containers, especially hobbocks, with lids
The innovation relates to a clamping ring for the shockproof closing of containers, in particular hobbocks, with lids.
Clamping rings have already become known, the profile of which has essentially the shape of a V, by means of which legs striving towards the outside, in front of which the upper cover rims against the surface of the container encompassing the upper area of the rolled edge wheel with the interposition of a seal the lower one lays against the underside of the outer roll rim of the container,
in the closed position, the lid edge and the outer rolled edge of the container can be pressed together in the direction of its longitudinal axis. At the same time, the outer rolled edges of the lid and container are radially pressed against one another and the position of the outer rolled edge of the lid is fixed in the area of the bend of the lower leg of the clamping ring to its web connecting the two legs.
The object on which the innovation is based is to design a clamping ring of the aforementioned type in such an advantageous manner that with its help an even better or stronger fixation of the container lid than before in the closed position is achieved. Such a tension ring according to the invention is characterized in that the inner surface of the connecting web between the two legs of the tension ring is divided by an inwardly directed bead into two indentations lying one above the other, of which the lower one partially encompasses the rolled edge of the lid, the upper one Leg of the clamping ring rests on the downward sloping part of the lid edge that covers the seal,
which is connected to the outer rolled edge of the lid via an edge part bent vertically downwards.
In an expedient embodiment, the clamping ring, which is divided into halves of the same shape by its horizontal center line, which coincides with the center line passing through this in weighting of the depth of the bead, optionally rotated about its horizontal center line, can be brought into a working position.
The center line, which is inclined at an acute angle to the horizontal center line of the clamping ring and goes through this in the direction of the depth of the bead, can divide the clamping ring into two non-uniform sections and the indentation which fixes the position of the outer rolled edge of the cover radially towards the inside The upper indentation, offset towards the container, encompasses the bend of the obliquely downwardly extending part in the vertically downwardly extending part of the edge of the lid and, against this vertical edge part of the lid with its edge tapering towards the bead, additionally the edge of the lid in its closed position fix.
The innovation is explained in more detail below with reference to two exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing.
Show it:
Fig. 1 shows the right, upper part of a container closed with the tension ring according to the innovation in a vertical section and
Fig. 2 is the same, but using a different embodiment of the clamping ring according to the innovation.
The drawing shows a container 2 or 2 closed in a known manner with the interposition of a seal 4 or 4 'with a push-in cover 3 or 3'.
2 ', namely in Fig. 1 with a first embodiment of the tensioning ring according to the innovation and in Fig. 2 with a second embodiment of the tensioning ring according to the innovation in the closed position. Due to the wedge effect of the V-like outwardly striving legs 5, 6 or 5 ', 6' of the clamping ring 1 or 1 ', the edge part 14 or 14' of the lid on which the upper leg 5 or 5 'of the Tension ring rests, and the outer rolled edge 13 or 13 'of the container 2 or 2', against the underside of which the lower leg 6 or 6 'rests, pressed together in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the container 2 or 2' and thus also the seal 4 or.
4 ', which is thereby brought to fill the space between the lid edge and the outer rolled edge of the container.
The part 14 or 14 'of the lid edge shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 runs obliquely downwards, however, offering a much larger contact surface than before for the upper leg 14 or 14' of the clamping pin 1 or 1 ' , then bends into a vertically downwardly extending part 17 or 17 'and finally ends in the known outer rolled edge 12 or 12' of the lid, which is pressed together with the rolled edge 13 or 13 'in the closed position in the radial direction.
According to Fig. 1, the Sipannrinig 1 in the middle of the inner surface of the connecting web 7 has an inwardly ge Richtebe bead 8 through which the vorgen; anute inner surface symmetrical to the horizontal center line 15 of the clamping ring 1, which coincides with the center line 16 going through the bead 8 in the direction of its depth, is divided into two indentations 10 and 11. As a result, the clamping ring 1 can be used to close the container 2 in one of two places by rotating it around its horizontal center line 15 by 1800.
The lower bead 11 always partially encompasses the outer rolled edge 12 of the cover 3, whereby a much more stable fixation of the clamping ring is achieved compared to known designs, which in this design is divided into two halves of the same shape.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from the one shown in FIG. 1 in that the center line 16 'passing through the bead 8' in the direction of its depth does not coincide with the horizontal center line 15 'of the clamping ring 1', but in a pointy manner Angle inclined towards the latter and the upper indentation 10 'of the inner surface of the connecting web 7' between the two clamping ring legs 5 'and 6' opposite the lower indentation 11 'comprising the outer rolled edge 12' of the lid 3 'radially to the center of the container is offset.
The upper indentation 10 'comprises the bend of the inclined part 14' of the lid edge in its vertical part 17 ', against which the edge of the upper indentation 10' that runs out into the bead 8 'still rests. In this way, an even stronger fixation of the clamping ring 1 ', which in this embodiment cannot be placed reversibly around 1800, is achieved in the closed position, so that the closure of the container 2' with its lid 3 'even with very heavy loads from impact and the like. is secured. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the clamping ring 1 'shortened in its upper leg 5' is adapted to the outer contour of the lid edge and this also results in a positional fixation.
In both versions, the inwardly directed bead 8 or 8 'has a stiffening effect in conjunction with the position fixing.
