Winding device for thread-like winding material
The invention relates to a winding device for thread-like winding material and a use of this device.
The winding device according to the invention has guide means, which guide the current winding material to form a winding start, which has several turns in a single layer around a winding body, and release it when this winding start is formed, and an axially reciprocating distributing element that moves the released winding material detected and then distributed axially along the winding body.
The guide means can have a rotating part which is intended to touch the current winding material from which the winding start is to be formed and thereby to move the current winding material axially to the winding body by rotating this part so that it rotates when it rotates , forms the beginning of the winding.
The rotating part can partially be provided with an external thread, which is intended to be touched by the current winding material in order to move the material axially with respect to the winding body during rotation.
The part can be tapered at one end inwardly away from the external thread, so that the current winding material, when it is released from the thread by reaching its end, is guided to a point at which the distribution element can grasp the current winding material . The taper can be conical.
At the end facing away from the taper, the part can have a flange.
The part can be designed to be driven by rotary drive means. The part may have an axial through hole and the rotary drive means may comprise a rotating shaft which passes through this hole and is fixed to the part.
However, the part can also run freely in a warehouse in order to be rotated by contact with the running winding material.
The part may have an axial through-hole and an axis on which the part is freely rotatable may extend through or into the hole. The axis can be fixed.
The part can have a shaft which is intended to be contacted by the running winding material after the same has been released from the guide means, and this shaft can be arranged in such a way that it helps to maintain a desired tension in the running winding material, after being detected by the distribution link.
The guide means can be designed in such a way that they move the running winding material axially at a speed which is low compared to the speed at which the distribution member moves the winding material axially.
The guide part can be rotatably mounted in the winding device and have a threaded part which is intended to be touched by the current winding material in such a way that the rotation of the threaded part axially guides the current winding material in such a way that it forms the start of the winding around part of a winding body. The guide part can be designed so that it lets go of the running material when the beginning of the winding is formed.
As an embodiment of the winding device according to the invention, a yarn on winding device is described below with reference to the drawing.
Figure 1 shows schematically a front view,
Figure 2 shows a side view.
The device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 for winding up yarn has guide means 11 which guide a running yarn 13 in such a way that it forms a winding start 15, which has several turns in a single layer on a winding body 14, and let go of the running yarn, when this winding is formed. The device has a thread guide 25 as an axially reciprocating distributing member, which grasps the yarn released in this way and then distributes it axially along the winding body 14 so that it forms a gap (shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1) thereon.
The guide means 11 can consist of a rotating part which is intended to touch the running yarn 13 from which the winding start 15 is to be formed, the rotation of the part moving the yarn 13 axially with respect to the winding body 14 in such a way that that when the winding body 14 rotates, this winding start 15 is formed.
The rotatable part 11 can have an external thread 12 which is intended to be contacted by the running yarn 13 in such a way that when the part 11 rotates, the yarn is moved axially in relation to the winding body 14.
The part 11 can have a taper 23 which runs inwards away from the thread 12, so that the running yarn, which is released when the end of the thread is reached, is guided by the taper 23 to a point at which the thread guide 25 can capture the yarn. The taper 23 can be conical.
At the end facing away from the taper 23, the part 11 can have a flange 22 which extends around its circumference.
The part 11 can be designed to be driven by rotary drive means (not shown).
The part 11 may have an axial through opening 18 and the rotary drive means may have a rotating shaft 16 which extends through or into the opening 18 and to which the part 11 is attached. The part 11 can be fastened to the shaft 16 by means of a grub screw 19. If the part 11 has a flange 22, this can have a radial through hole for receiving the grub screw.
The part 11 can, however, also run freely in a bearing and be intended to be rotated by contact with the running yarn. The part can have an axial through hole and be supported on an axle which extends through or into the hole. The axis can be fixed.
The shaft 16 (Figs. 1 and 2) or an axis on which the part 11 is rotatably mounted can be designed to be contacted by the running yarn after the same has been released from the guide means 11, and it can be arranged in this way that, after the yarn guide 25 has grasped the yarn, it helps to maintain a desired tension in the running yarn.
The guide means 11 can guide the running yarn in such a way that the material is moved axially towards the take-up body 14 at a speed which is small compared to the speed at which the yarn guide 25 moves the yarn axially.
If the guide means 11 has a rotatable part, it can rotate at such a rotational speed that the turns of the winding start 15 on the winding body 14 closely adjoin one another.
The thread guide 25 can be attached to a transverse shaft 24 in such a way that the axial reciprocating movement of the shaft 24 produces an axial hand and backward movement of the thread guide 25. The shaft 24 can be moved back and forth by means of a cam and tappet mechanism (not shown).
Several devices can be used in a textile machine, the rotatable guide means can be carried in alignment with one another by a common shaft or axis. The common shaft can be driven by a gear unit from a drive unit, which also drives other parts of the machine.
To wind a yarn package with a winding start of the type described, the rotatable part 11 is adjusted and fastened to the shaft 16 so that the flange 22 is in an axial position which corresponds to the point at which the beginning on the winding body 14 is to begin .
With the winding body 14 and part 15 rotating, the yarn to be wound onto the winding body is attached by hand to this, for example between the winding body and the mandrel (not shown) carrying it, and guided by hand so that it touches the thread 12 immediately next to the flange 22.
As the yarn is pulled onto the winder, the contact of the yarn 13 with the thread 12 causes the running yarn to move axially so that multiple turns of the yarn are wound onto the winder in a single layer. The pitch of this winding is determined by the speed of rotation of the guide part 11.
When the running yarn 13 has reached the end of the thread, it leaves the same, is guided through the conical taper 23 to a point at which the thread guide 25 (which continuously reciprocates axially to the take-up body) grips the running yarn.
The moving yarn is then distributed axially onto the winding body by the movement of the thread guide 25.
