Drive of the material slide of sewing machines The invention relates to. a drive for the fabric slide of sewing machines by means of a feed and a stroke eccentric, the stroke eccentric acting on the fabric slide via a double lever mounted on a lever,
this lever has means for adjusting the lifting path of the material slide and is a 01 which serves to support the stationary stop provided for the material slide in the retracted position.
In a known drive of this type, the stroke eccentric is attached to the shaft driving the gripper, which at the same time has a rotary disk for the knife feeder. The knife pusher has two mutually parallel, rigidly connected arms, one of which has the preschool teeth, while the other carries a double lever.
The rotary disk is assigned to the arm of the feeder which is equipped with the feed teeth, while the stroke eccentric acts on one arm of the double lever, the other arm of which is supported on an adjusting screw.
The set screw is provided on the arm of the material pusher carrying the double lever. A spring pulls the fabric downwards continuously. By turning the adjusting screw, the lifting path of the material slide can be changed, which is supported in the lowered position on the rotary disk.
This known drive is extremely bulky due to the two-armed speed of the material slide and also has the disadvantage that the adjusting screw is located on a constantly moving part that is not only under the influence of the stroke eccentric, but also that of the feed eccentric, because the Knife pusher is mounted on the front feed rocker.
These disadvantages are remedied by the invention, which is based on the task of not only simplifying the material pusher and its support, but also withdrawing the means used to adjust the lifting movement of the material pusher from the influence of the two eccentrics. This is achieved according to the invention in that the double lever with its arm facing away from the stroke eccentric supports the knife pusher,
the lever carrying the double lever is loosely pivoted on the shaft carrying the eccentric shaft and at the free end of this lever is the means used to set the lifting movement of the material slide, with which the lever is constantly supported on a fixed stop.
In this way, the knife only needs to be one-armed in a manner known per se and / or the lever carrying the double lever is stationary during operation.
A knife-edge valve drive is known in which the knife-edge valve is supported on one arm .eines double lever, the other arm of which rests on the stroke eccentric. In this case, the double lever has its own fixed bearing point, and means for adjusting the ejection path of the material slide are not provided at all.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. It shows: Fig. 1 shows the entire knife-edge valve drive with a broken-off knife-edge valve from above, Fig. 2 shows a section according to l1 II of FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 shows a section according to III-III. Of FIG 1 driving shaft 2, the feed eccentric 3 and the stroke eccentric 4 be fastened.
The feed eccentric 3 acts on a rocker 5 which is provided with a claw and which is mounted on the stationary bolt 6 and has a link 7. The stone 8 adjustable in the backdrop 7 is connected by means of a coupling rod 9 to a rocker 10 which is loosely pivotable on the shaft 2 (FIG. 3). At the free end of the rocker arm 10, the knife valve 11 or its carrier is mounted.
With means of the feed eccentric 3 so the substance slide 11 are given the back and forth movements, which are ver changeable by adjusting the stone 8 in the backdrop 7. The up and down movements are conveyed to the knife valve 11 from the lifting eccentric 4 via a double lever, the lower arm 12 of which rests against the lifting eccentric 4 and the upper arm 13 of the knife 11 or its carrier is supported eFig. 2).
Its bearing point 14 has the double lever 12, 13 on a lever 15 which is arranged loosely pivotable on the roller 2. At the free end of this lever 15 is: the means determining the lifting movement of the material slide 11 is provided, which consists of a rotatable polygon 16 mounted ex-centrically on the lever 15. With this polygon 16, the lever 15 is constantly supported on a fixed stop 17. A handle wheel 18 is rotatably connected to the polygon 16.
By rotating the same, not only can the lifting path from the material slide 11 be changed, but the sen can also be brought into the retracted position.
