Fig. 4 einen Rührwerkskessel mit sich durchdringenden Scheibenpaaren im Teillängsschnitt;
Fig. 5 den Rührwerkskessel nach Fig. 4 im Querschnitt.
Device for mixing liquids from powdery to granular materials
The invention relates to a device for mixing liquids and powdery to granular materials, with an agitator rotating in a mixing container, with disk-like agitator elements.
In addition to horizontal twin-shaft compulsory mixers, agitators in particular are widely used for mixing liquid and powdery to granular materials. The known agitators all have, more or less pronounced, the same basic structural shape and differ essentially only in the design of the mixing tools arranged on the agitator shafts. The shape, number and type of arrangement of these mixing tools ultimately determine the mixing effect as well as the machine and energy consumption.
The purpose of the invention is to create a particularly effective device for mixing liquids and powdery to granular materials.
The inventive device for mixing liquids and powdery to granular materials, with an agitator rotating in a mixing container with disk-like agitators is characterized in that the agitator has an agitator shaft with at least two disks and / or impellers arranged at an angle to one another.
The agitator elements, which are designed in the form of disks and / or impellers and are arranged at an angle to one another, impart an axially parallel flow to the mix in addition to the centrifuge direction. In the production of particularly plastic and sticky masses, it is expedient that the disks and / or impellers or the drive shaft wall or. Floor scrapers are connected. In order to prevent a rotational movement of the mixer filling that is otherwise unavoidable due to the rotation of the agitator shaft and the mixing elements, it is advisable to arrange web plates directed radially inward on the container wall.
Practical mixing operation with such devices has now shown that, particularly with sticky types of mix, material settles between the angled disks and on the upper disk, this caking occurring around the agitator shaft. This caking of the material can have a disadvantageous effect, in particular, when successively different mixes, e.g. different colors to be homogenized in the mixing device.
This disadvantage can now be avoided in accordance with an advantageous embodiment in that, preferably coaxially to the agitator shaft, a co-rotating filler, e.g. a cylinder jacket, is arranged, the dimensions of which are dependent on the diameter of the respective mixing container and / or on the respective speed of the agitator shaft. It is particularly advantageous if the dimensions of the filler body are chosen so that the circumferential speed of the filler body delimited by the closed jacket, whose end faces are also closed, has a ratio of greater than 1: 4, preferably 1, to the circumferential speed of the discs arranged at an angle to one another : 3.
In order to achieve better efficiency in the production of asphalt mixes, for example mastic asphalt, i.e. e.g. To achieve shorter mixing times and / or more homogeneous distributions, it is advantageous to add the binder to the mixing device, preferably in finely divided form, in a zone of high mixing intensity.
In the production of mastic asphalt, for example, it must be avoided that the thermoplastic binding agent contained in the asphalt mixes adheres to the cold walls and solidifies there, which removes binding agent from the mix and unnecessarily causes the crust formed on the container wall by the cooling of the binding agent high friction and thus increased power requirement.
In order to remedy this situation, means are expediently provided in order to heat the, for example, essentially cylindrical mixing container. The mixing container is preferably provided with jackets to accommodate the heating medium. It can also be useful for some purposes, e.g. in the case of mixtures that involve chemical reactions of an exothermic nature, dissipate the heat of reaction produced in order to avoid overheating of the mixture. In these cases the mixing container can be cooled. It is also expedient that the heating and cooling devices are designed to be controllable.
In the case of types of mix where it is expedient to allow the mixing process to run under positive or negative pressure, the entire mixing apparatus is preferably designed to be gas-tight in order to be able to maintain the desired pressure state. This applies in particular to substances that react chemically during the mixing process.
In mixing systems in which the disks arranged at an angle on the agitator shaft produce such a high, mainly downwardly directed pressure, despite the openings cut out in them, for example, there is a risk of wedging the material to be mixed, which is particularly present below the lower disks.
This tendency towards wedging is particularly effective when the material to be mixed contains a high proportion of broken material. The resulting increase in the power requirement and the wear and tear can be very considerable. To remedy this situation, instead of the disks, impellers arranged at an angle to one another are used, which can be formed, for example, from flat profiles arranged in a star shape. These profiles expediently have an angle of attack, preferably an opening angle, in the direction of rotation of the agitator.
In order to intensify the movement of the material to be mixed in the zone of low circumferential speed, it is provided, for example, that the angle of incidence of the profiles at the points where they are attached to the agitator shaft is at its greatest and decreases with increasing distance from the agitator shaft towards the outside.
At. For the production of, for example, coarse or highly pasty mixed material, the free ends of the profiles can be connected to one another by a ring in order to achieve greater stability of the mixing elements. In the case of particularly tough media, the mixing movement in the area of the shaft may not be sufficient despite the high angle of attack of the profiles. In such cases, the mixer shaft can be clad with a cylindrical hollow body or designed as a large hollow shaft.
For example, in order to further reduce the processing time required for mastic asphalt motor stoves without reducing the quality of the mixture, and in order to intensify the movement in the centimeter of the mixer, the mixing device can be designed so that two intersecting one of their center lines at an angle Discs or impellers arranged to one another and of the same size or of different sizes form a pair of discs or impellers which, together with at least one more identical pair of discs or impellers, is attached to an agitator shaft in such a way that one disc or one impeller of a pair is connected to the analog disc or the analog impeller of the opposite pair forms an acute angle.
The disks or impellers of the individual disk or impeller pairs lying parallel to one another have a different diameter.
One or both disks of a pair of disks can be designed as annular disks.
Embodiments of the device according to the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, namely show:
1 shows a stirrer tank in partial longitudinal section;
2 shows a stirrer tank with various additional details in partial longitudinal section;
3 shows an agitator tank with impellers as agitator elements in partial longitudinal section;
3a shows the agitator vessel according to FIG. 3 in cross section;
4 shows a stirrer tank with pairs of discs penetrating one another in a partial longitudinal section;
FIG. 5 shows the agitator vessel according to FIG. 4 in cross section.
Inside the agitator vessel with the cylindrical container wall 1 runs centrally arranged the agitator shaft 2, on which the disks 3, which are provided with a number of openings 4 and are arranged at an angle to one another and to the shaft, and a bottom or
Wall scrapers 5 are attached. On the container shell 1, web plates 6 directed radially inward are arranged (FIG. 1).
By rotating the shaft, preferably at a speed that corresponds to a circumferential speed of the edge delimitation of the disks of more than 1 m / sec, the mix is sucked in in the area of the large distance between the two disks, accelerated in the direction of the small distance and through the in The slits provided in the slices are partially deflected upwards or downwards in an axially parallel movement.
When using the present device for mixing liquids and powdery to granular materials, a significant advance is achieved, especially in the production of mastic asphalt for road construction, since significant time savings are achieved in the production of first-class mastic asphalt.
While according to the conventional methods for processing mastic asphalt, the necessary components, i.e. minerals in the grain gradation of e.g. 40% chippings, 35% sand, 25% filler with approx. 8% bitumen (counted) as a binder in a mastic asphalt cooker either cold for 4-6 hours or preheated for 2 hours, stirred and boiled while using the present mixing device the same amount of mastic asphalt (batch) produced in about a tenth of the conventional time without any loss of quality
As can be seen from FIG. 2, a preferably cylindrical filler body 14, which is closed on all sides, is arranged above the upper disk 3 and between the two disks 3.
From Fig. 2 it can also be seen how the mixing container is further equipped. This is provided with mixing elements on a vertical shaft 2 and an opening 7 for charging powdery to granular materials and an opening for adding liquids. A jacket 9 is used to guide a heating medium in the free space between the container wall 1 and the outer jacket 9. The heating can be done, for example, by the heating gases generated by an oil burner 10, which by the fan 12 after flowing through the flue gas space and the release of heat into the open Atmosphere.
A thermal sensor 11 is expediently provided to control the temperature, which in turn influences a controller 13 in such a way that control of either the oil burner 10 and / or the fan 12 is possible.
The thermoplastic binding agent can be metered in by means of the device 8. This addition of binder is arranged in such a way that the thermoplastic binder hits the material in finely divided form in a zone of high mixing intensity.
As FIG. 3 and 3a shows, the centrally arranged agitator shaft 2 runs inside the agitator vessel 1. Two impellers 3a, which are arranged at an angle to one another and are formed from individual flat profiles 15 arranged in a star shape, are attached. The flat profiles 15 are arranged on the shaft 2 in such a way that they have an opening angle of attack in the direction of rotation of the agitator, the angle of attack decreasing with increasing distance from the agitator shaft 2 towards the outside.
When such a mixing device is in operation, a pressure build-up around the mixing elements or below them is kept relatively small and, at the same time, the material to be mixed is set in intense motion.
According to Fig. 4 and 5 runs inside the agitator vessel with the cylindrical container wall 1, the centrally arranged agitator shaft 2, to which two disc pairs provided with a number of openings 4 and formed from discs 3 are attached so that each one disc of a disc pair with the identically formed disc of the second disc pair forms an angle of preferably 40-600.
