A usfiihrunigsbeispiel 6
Multilayer sheetlike structure with at least one insulating layer and a method for producing a multilayer sheetlike structure with at least one insulating layer. The invention relates to a multilayer sheetlike structure with at least one insulating layer and a method for producing a multilayered sheetlike structure with at least one insulating layer.
Depending on the material from which they are made, insulation sleeves serve to protect against undesired physical and / or chemical influences, e.g. Heat, cold, pressure, shock, moisture, decomposition, etc.
The flat structures with insulating layer used in the most diverse fields of technology in the form of sheets, mats, felts and plates are comparatively expensive because of the high-quality materials mostly used in their manufacture. The use of cheap and nevertheless effective waste materials has so far failed due to the corresponding processing options for such materials.
This disadvantage is to be eliminated by the invention.
The sheet-like structure according to the invention with at least one insulating layer is characterized in that at least one insulating layer is needled as its own cohesion with at least one other layer.
In so-called ¸Vernadeln¯, for example, tufts of fibers are pierced into the base layer from a fiber-containing layer placed on a base layer by means of barbed needles, in which they get stuck when the needles are withdrawn, thereby connecting the fiber-containing layer with the base layer. The prerequisite for carrying out the needling technique is therefore the presence of a layer of actively needling material, ie. H. a layer which consists of fibrous structures that can be used to carry out the needling process or which contains such structures.
Active needle-punching materials can be fibrous, e.g. B. fibers, pieces of thread, threads, straw, wood wool, pieces of wire, film strips, paper strips, metal shavings or the like, or flat, z. B. nonwovens, Naddfilze or the like.
The method according to the invention for producing a multilayer sheet-like structure with at least one insulating layer is characterized in that at least one insulating layer is brought together with at least one other layer without its own cohesion and is then subjected to a needling process.
Under an insulating layer that is not cohesive of its own, a layer of molecularly non-cohesive pieces of generally or specifically insulating, actively or passively needle-like substances should be placed, e.g. B. a layer of straw, wood wool, pieces of wire, foil strips, paper strips, metal shavings, paper shreds, paper flakes, foam shreds, foam flakes, cork shredded, leaves (especially reeds, palm leaves or the like), wood waste (especially in the form of saws, chips and wood chips) , Bark (also ground) etc.
The method according to the invention and the multilayer sheet-like structures resulting from its implementation are to be explained schematically below with the aid of a few exemplary embodiments.
Working example 1
A layer of fine plastic film strips is continuously applied to a sheet of jute fabric and then subjected to a needling process.
Because of its flexibility, the two-layer sheet-like structure obtained in this way is excellently suited as cold insulation for brine pipelines, around which it can be wrapped and, if necessary, coated with gypsum paste.
Au, example 2
An oil paper surface is covered with a layer consisting of a mixture of fine, high-quality bookbinding shavings with sisal fibers (in a weight ratio of 2: 1).
By needling the two layers, a flat structure is created that simultaneously protects against sound and moisture and is particularly suitable for room sound insulation.
Example 3
A layer of straw is needled onto a sheet of corrugated paper. This creates a flat structure which can advantageously be used as a comparatively cheap and nevertheless very shock-resistant packaging material.
Embodiment 4 A fabric base is coated with cork shredded, whereupon the cork shredded layer is covered with a layer of sisal fibers. Then the three layers are subjected to a needling process, whereby a cold or. a heat-insulating flat structure is created, which is particularly suitable as a layer under a floating screed.
Working example 5
Foam flakes are scattered in an even layer onto a strip of jute fabric, covered with a layer of jute fibers and needled. The resulting flat structure can advantageously be used as a carpet underlay.
Embodiment 6
Shredded polystyrene foam waste is mixed with a fixed adhesive with crosslinking (condensation resin, polyester or the like), applied in an even layer to a plastic film laminated with aluminum on the outside and heated by infrared heaters to the point where the fixed adhesive just begins to set. Now a layer of crushed cork is leased and a layer of jute fibers is placed on top and needled to the base.
After the adhesive has completely set, you have a very stiff insulating plate, which is particularly suitable as an insert in partition walls.
The invention is of course not restricted to the exemplary embodiments described above, rather it comprises various modifications which, to the knowledge and ability of the average person skilled in the art, appear obvious. For example, when producing a multilayer sheet-like structure with at least two insulating layers, it would be possible to subject at least one of the insulating layers to solidification without or with more or fewer binders before the layers are brought together.
B. by needling, sewing, calendering, shrinking, fulling, softening, loosening, lamination, reinforcing by means of thread frames (¸Scrims¯), impregnation by spraying, foam application with roller or brushing, dipping, film application with help padding, point-wise printing of a binder, introduction of a powdery binder by blowing in, sprinkling in, etc. Furthermore, after the flat structure has been needled, the durability of the connection could be increased in a manner known per se by gluing the fibers n to the bottom and / or top ¯ht be.
Furthermore, if at least two insulating layers are used, at least one of them could be impregnated against pests, fire, etc., for example; In addition, it would be possible to subject them to a bonding process before the layers are brought together or to a treatment which brings about the adhesion of their particles before needling. In this way, especially when processing foam waste, elastically bonded insulation panels or webs of rigidly bonded insulation panels connected by a central fabric layer could be produced, the latter being able to be prefabricated and only further processed when required.
Foam waste made of polyethylene, polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride, natural or artificial latex or the like can be used to produce insulation layers, this foam waste being processed into chips, ribbons, strips or flakes.
The use of elastic, predominantly thermoplastic foams leads to a product that is relatively better and cheaper than a comparable commercially available needle felt, in particular with regard to the compressive elasticity, the ability to swallow, the fill, the porosity, the Heat or Cold insulation, moisture adsorption or absorption, etc. Such products are therefore particularly suitable for use as carpet underlays, backsides of floor coverings made of textile or plastic materials, upholstery material, insulation materials subject to pressure (e.g.
Documents for machines, especially typewriters), room sound insulation and flexible packing material.
In contrast, the processing of inelastic, especially thermosetting foams (e.g. made of polystyrene, formaldehyde and other hard-setting plastics) results in correspondingly modified properties, such as greater rigidity, increased footfall sound insulation, etc. Accordingly, such products are used wherever there is no significant pressure load, but greater rigidity, greater strength or a certain load-bearing capacity is desired; Examples of application include: insulation panels for insertion in partition walls, layers under floating screeds, packaging materials and inlays.
As these few indications show, the person skilled in the art is able, by means of the method according to the invention, to produce multilayer flat structures having at least one insulating layer and having predetermined properties.
