Arrangement for the supply of liquid in spaces of a rotating shaft for functional testing of mechanical speed monitors of power machines at normal operating speed Speed monitors serve as overspeed protection of power machines. If the normal speed is impermissibly exceeded, ie when a predetermined trigger speed is reached, the speed monitor triggers the interruption of the supply of the medium flowing through the machine and thus the engine is shut down.
1 shows the usual design of a speed monitor: the speed monitor 24 is arranged in the main shaft 1 or in a secondary shaft of the engine operated by this. It essentially consists of a flywheel 2, a guide sleeve 3, a guide nut 4, a spring 5 and a spring plate 6.
The common center of mass 7 of the parts of the flywheel 2 moving radially to the shaft axis and the spring plate 6 connected to it lies outside the shaft axis in the direction of movement of the flywheel 2. The centrifugal force acting in the center of gravity 7 corresponds to the size of the respective shaft speed. This centrifugal force counteracts the spring force of the spring 5. Balance between tween the centrifugal force of the moving parts 2 and 6 and the spring force exists at the predetermined release speed.
If this is exceeded, the centrifugal force of parts 2 and 6 outweighs the spring force and the flyweight moves, guided in parts 3 and 4, by the stroke 8 radially outwards to the shaft axis. The head of the flywheel 2 hits a pawl, not shown in the drawing, whose movement triggered thereby actuates a hydraulic or mechanical relay, which in turn directly or indirectly shuts off the supply of the working medium flowing through the engine and thus shuts down the engine.
Securing the engine against overspeed depends essentially on the proper functioning of the speed monitor. For this reason, two speed monitors are often arranged, the release speeds of which are different from one another. The functional test of the speed monitor by increasing the normal speed to the trigger speed leads to unnecessarily high centrifugal forces on the rotating rotor parts of the engine. The prime mover is used to drive gyroscopic machines, e.g. B. pumps or compressors, so reaching the release speed is not possible because of the required Leistungsbe may with normal rating of the engine.
With such drives, the speed monitor only responds if the torque transmission between the power and the driven machine is interrupted and if there is a possible zero delivery with the suction or pressure slide valve closed and a correspondingly high overspeed.
It is also known to carry out the functional test of the speed monitor 24 at operating speed in the following way: a liquid is supplied from the adjacent shaft end of the rotating shaft via an axial bore 9 and is injected into the bore 9 from a stationary nozzle 20.
By the inlet pressure and. Due to the centrifugal force, the liquid passes through the radial bore 10 and the bore 11 into the space 12 of the flyweight 2. The space 12 is dimensioned so that the centrifugal force now also acting on parts 2 and 6: the liquid filling of the space 12 is sufficient to move the flyweight 2 at normal speed against the spring force radially to the shaft axis by the stroke 8 outwards and thus to operate the release pawl.
After the supply of liquid has been interrupted, the liquid filling flows through the diaphragm 13.
The type of axial liquid supply described requires the speed monitor to be located near an axially accessible shaft end. The accommodation of the speed monitor in an accessible auxiliary shaft is associated with greater design effort and involves the risk of interruption of the speed transmission from the engine shaft due to damage (or even assembly errors). The present invention is based on the object of creating an arrangement in which the disadvantages mentioned above are avoided.
This is the purpose of an arrangement for supplying liquid into spaces of a rotating shaft via holes in this angeord designated, into which the liquid is injected from at least one fixed nozzle, for functional testing of mechanical speed monitors of Kraftma machines at normal operating speed.
The inventive solution to the problem is distinguished by an annular chamber, which is arranged in a shaft shoulder and is only open radially on the inside, to which the liquid is fed via a nozzle, and by bores in the shaft for guiding the liquid from the annular chamber to a surrounding the speed monitor Annular space, which in turn is connected to a space of the flywheel, which is arranged in such a way that the centrifugal force of the fluid introduced into this space moves the flywheel radially outwards to the shaft axis.
In the following an embodiment of the inven tion is described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3 of the drawings. 2 shows a longitudinal section along the shaft and speed monitor axes, while FIG. 3 shows a cross section of the shaft along a speed monitor axis.
With 22 is in a paragraph of the shaft 1 to be ordered, only radially inwardly open annular chamber be distinguished. The liquid is fed to this annular chamber 22 at any point on the circumference of the shaft, namely via a line 26 and nozzle 21. The liquid can be fed in through the natural pressure gradient or with any high inlet pressure. With a 17, the speed monitor 24 umge bender annulus is designated, which is on the one hand via bores 23 with the annular chamber 22 in connection and on the other hand via openings 18 on the circumference of the guide sleeve 3 with a space 12 of the flywheel 2 is connected.
As the drawing shows, the inner radius of the annular chamber 22 is smaller than the distance from the shaft axis to the inner edge of the space 12.
As a result of the pressure difference established by the rotating oil ring from the radial thickness 27, the liquid flows from the annular chamber 22 to the annular space 17.
From the exit of the bores 23 into the annular space 17 lying on the radius r1, the liquid flows to the two areas of the annular space 17 which are at the greater distance r., From the shaft axis. (Fig. 3) This increases the pumping effect even further.
The liquid finally passes through openings 18 on the circumference of the guide sleeve 3 into the space 12 of the swing weight 2 and the swing weight moves, as already described, under the effect of the centrifugal force exerted by the liquid in space 12 radially outwards to the shaft axis . The liquid remaining in the annular chamber 22 after the liquid supply has been switched off flows off via the orifice bore 25.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, as can be seen from FIG. 2, in the direction of the shaft axis next to the speed monitor 24, a wide rer speed monitor 24 'may be provided. The liquid can be supplied to the speed monitor 24 'from an annular space 1 on the speed monitor 24 fed by the nozzle 21 via the annular chamber 22 via bores 23' in the shaft 1, which connect the annular space 17 'with a Connect the annular space 117 on the speed monitor 24 '.
The triggering of the second speed monitor 24 ', the triggering speed of which can be different from that of the speed monitor 24, it follows analogously in the manner described above.
Of course, an annular space can also be supplied via several nozzles or, if two separate annular spaces are to be arranged, these can be facing each other and z. B. can only be supplied with two nozzle holes via a supply.
