Der genannte Ring kann einer Anzahl weiterer Wirkungen dienlich sein: a) wenn die Flüssigkeit unter Druck steht, ermög lichen es die Öffnungen durch die Mitte des Rin ges und den freibeweglichen Lagerblock und den Kolben, dem Druck der Flüssigkeit, welcher eine Belastung verursacht, unmittelbar am Zy linderkopf an einem Ende und am Exzenter durchmesser am andern Ende zu wirken;
Hydraulic machine The invention relates to a hydraulic machine and is also applicable to hydraulic motors and liquid pressure pumps.
Hydraulic motors are known with a housing which has a plurality of hydraulic cylinders which are grouped radially around a freely movable bearing block and a shaft which is rotatably mounted in said housing and has an eccentric which runs in a cylindrical bore of the bearing block. The hydraulic cylinders are arranged to transmit the fluid pressure to the bearing block and give it a circular motion with a re sulting rotation of either the eccentric with the machine shaft or the machine housing and the hydraulic cylinder, the shaft remaining stationary.
Such hydraulic motors contain mechanical bearing surfaces such as sliding bearings and / or mechanical connecting rods or equivalent arrangements, which leads to a complicated construction.
The general purpose of the present invention is to improve hydraulic machines to simplify their construction and increase their efficiency.
The machine according to the invention has a housing in which a shaft is rotatably mounted, an eccentric on this shaft, a bearing block in the housing, which encloses the eccentric and has a bore which allows the bearing block and eccentric to rotate relative to one another, several Hydraulic cylinders, which are arranged radially around the axis of the shaft in a common plane, normal to this axis, in one of the two parts formed by the housing and the bearing block, each having a hollow piston displaceable in one of the cylinders, resilient means which strive are to move the piston towards the other of the named parts, a floating ring,
wel cher either the end of the piston or the opposite surface of the other of the mentioned in the parts slidingly and tightly touches and a log device for the liquid forms, in connection with each other and with the interior of the piston openings in the ring and this be adjacent Piston end, and a passage in the bearing block, through which the bore communicates with the space which is formed by the interior of the piston and the openings mentioned, such as
that the liquid in the cylinders one after the other during operation of the machine exerts a direct thrust on the eccentric or experiences it from it without being transmitted by mechanical cal means. Said ring enables the pressure fluid to act on a surface within the ring and thereby keeps the bearing block in balance and is also provided as a measure against poor alignment of the surface of the bearing block and the inner end of the piston with respect to one another.
Said ring can serve a number of other effects: a) When the liquid is under pressure, the openings through the center of the ring and the freely movable bearing block and piston make it possible directly to the pressure of the liquid causing a load to act on the cylinder head at one end and on the eccentric diameter at the other end;
b) when the liquid is under pressure, as a result of the rotating action of the eccentric, a sliding seal is created between the surface of the ring and the base of the hollow piston where they meet; c) the ring is arranged in the freely movable bearing block so that the thrust acts on the center line of the eccentric when the pressure of the liquid occurs; d) a seal between the surface of the ring and the base of the hollow piston is achieved by arranging a suitable pressure compensation surface between the effective pressure surfaces of the ring and the piston.
This compensation surface is such that a sufficient sealing force is achieved between the surface of the ring and the base of the piston without excessive mechanical pressure on this; e) in order to achieve acceptable bearing loads between the sealing surfaces of the ring and the base of the piston, grooves or pressure relief openings (slots) are provided on the side of the ring, which determine the pressure gradient across the sealing surface; f) if necessary, an additional bearing surface can be achieved on the ring by extending the ring surface beyond the pressure relief groove.
Another feature of an embodiment of the invention is that pressure fluid is fed to the cylinders through the machine shaft and a surrounding sleeve which is provided with passages in this way. that a relief of the machine shaft and thus an evenly quiet way of working with minimal wear are ensured.
The liquid is preferably also exited from the cylinders through the machine shaft and the above-mentioned bushing, in which case their passages can be arranged in such a way that the direction of rotation of the machine shaft can be controlled simply by using a simple changeover valve and without any other control device or the machine housing can be reversed if desired.
In the drawing, for example, some constructive embodiments of the inventive hydraulic machine with the above and other features are shown. 1 shows an embodiment in which the machine housing is stationary and the rotor shaft rotates, partly in cross-section and partly in an end view, FIG. 2 shows an axial section to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of one of the pressure retaining rings, FIG. 4 shows an elevation (section) of FIG. 3,
5 shows a variant of FIGS. 1 and 2, in which the machine shaft is stationary and the machine housing is rotatably mounted, partly in cross-section and partly in an end view, FIG. 6 shows an axial section to FIG. 5, FIG. 6A shows a structural detail of this embodiment, FIG. 7 shows a further variant of FIG. 1 in a mechanically inverted design, partly in cross section and partly in side view, FIG. 8 shows an axial section of FIG. 7,
9 shows a partial cross section through an embodiment of the machine with a modified form of the ring, FIG. 10 shows a partial cross section through an embodiment of the machine with yet another modified form of the ring. In the various figures of the drawing, the same or corresponding parts are denoted by the same reference symbols.
In the hydraulic machine shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, five hydraulic cylinders 1 are grouped radially around the axis of the motor shaft 7 in a common plane normal to this axis. (This plane is called the main cross-sectional plane of the machine in the following.) These cylinders are held stationary in a machine housing 2, which in front view essentially has the shape of a pentagon and has two hubs 3, 4, which bearings 6, 6 for the machine shaft 7 form.
This shaft has an eccentric 8 which is directed towards the cylinder l and is rotatably arranged in the cylindrical bore 9 of a bearing block 10. The bearing block 10 also has the shape of a regular pentagon in front view, the center of which, however, coincides with the axis of the eccentricity of the eccentric.
In each hydraulic cylinder 1, a hollow piston 11 with a flat bottom is displaceable. The inner end surface 12 of each of the pistons is inevitably tight against one of the sides of the five-sided bearing block 10 by a coil spring 13 presses with its outer end on the head of the cylinder and with its inner end on an inner shoulder 14 of the piston. A centrally located in the end face 12 of each piston 11 opening 44 communicates with the cavity 45 of the piston and is coaxial therewith.
In the bearing block for each Kol ben 11 a ring 15 is used, and the central Publ opening 46 in the ring 15 is coaxial with the opening 44 in the end face 12 of the piston 11 when the latter is in the position in which it is furthest in its cylinder 1 is pushed in, that is the position in which the piston 11 of the cylinder 1 at the top in FIG. 1 is located. Each ring has an effective area, which is to be understood as the area which belongs to the diameter D in FIG. 4, which is not larger than that of the cylinder bore. Each ring is movable in a recess of the five-sided bearing block to a limited extent of the order of a few thousandths of 25 mm.
The freely movable bearing block and the ring are sealed against each other by means of a suitable seal 16. Screws 43 hold the rings in place without disturbing the mobility mentioned above. Five radial passages 17, which are arranged in the above-mentioned main cross-sectional plane, it extend from the cylindrical bore 9 of the five-sided bearing block 10 to one of the five sides of the block and thus to the interior of the associated hydraulic cylinder 1.
In the same main cross-sectional plane, the circumference of the eccentric 8 on the machine shaft 7 is provided with two oppositely arranged, arcuate grooves 18, 19, which are separated at both ends by webs 20, 21, which represent closure means, which the above-mentioned radial passages 17 cover and release when the eccentric and the machine shaft rotate.
Two channels 22, 23 extend along the machine shaft 7 parallel to its axis. These channels are each connected at one end to one of the aforementioned arcuate grooves 18, 19 of the Ex center 8 and each at the other end with one of two annular grooves 24, 25 which are formed neighbors in the machine shaft. A sleeve 26 surrounds this end part of the machine shaft in one of the hubs of the machine housing. This sleeve has a number of radial passages 27, 28 through which liquid can flow from a circular part in the hub 4 to the annular grooves 24, 25. Resilient seals 29 are fitted around the circumference of the sleeve to accommodate any eccentricity or friction or wear that may occur.
Two radial openings 30, 31 each extend through the housing hub 4 into a reduced part of the sleeve 26. These openings are provided with threads to terminate lines.
If the opening 31 is used as an inlet opening, the inflowing oil flows through the channel 22 into the arcuate groove 18, then through the passage 17, the opening 46 of the ring 15 and the opening 44 in the inner end surface of the hollow piston 11 in FIG the piston cavity 45. The openings 46 and 44 connect to one another and to the piston cavity 45.
The pressure of the oil that has entered the hollow cylinder 11 acts on the inner surface of the cylinder cover at one end and on the center line of the eccentric 8 at the other end and causes the shaft to rotate. The sealing surface between the piston 11 and the ring 15 allows an insignificant flow of oil into the machine housing 2. When the machine shaft 7 rotates, the webs 20 close and open the passages 17 and allow the oil either into the cylinder 1 or out to flow out of this.
The oil flows from the space 45 of the piston 11 through said opening 44 and 46, which are in connection with the cavity and with each other in the inner end surface 12 of the piston 11 and through the ring 15 in the arcuate groove 19 through the channel 23 and through the opening 30 out.
Finally, the interior of the machine housing communicates through a radial passage, which is adjacent to the eccentric, and an axial channel in the machine shaft with a discharge connection 32 in an end cover of one of the housing hubs.
In the construction described, the arrangement of the passages is very simple, and since the sleeve is provided, the pressurized machine shaft is relieved. There are no connecting rods, which also leads to simplification.
Since the radial openings 30, 31 are connected by a reversing valve to the supply of the pressure fluid and the sump, the direction of rotation of the motor shaft can also be reversed if desired without any other reversing device being required.
The hydraulic fluid supplied to each cylinder 1 during operation of the machine exerts such a thrust that the pressure on the bearing block 10 is counteracted by the pressure on the underside of the block, which then again acts on the eccentric 8 and causes the same and the machine shaft 7 to rotate . During this rotation, each cylinder is successively disconnected from the supply and opened to the exhaust line.
The pistons 11 in the hydraulic cylinders have tight sliding contact at any time during their movement, which is made with them by the rings housed in the bearing block. The preferred shape of the ring is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, from which it can be seen that the sealing surface has a circumferential groove 40, from which outlet grooves 41 extend to the outer edge of the surface through which the pressure drop along said surface is controlled. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, 6 and 6A, the machine shaft 7 is fixed and the machine housing 2 is rotatably arranged.
The pressure fluid is supplied through channels 22A, 23A in the shaft, and the arrangement is such that when the machine housing rotates, the bearing block 10 also rotates around the eccentric 8, which is stationary. The construction is, apart from the features just mentioned, similar to the embodiment described first.
According to Fig. 7 and 8, the cylinder 1 are contained in the bearing block 10, instead of being carried by the machine housing 2 ge, to which, however, inner abutments 42 are attached, each of which has a recess for receiving the ring 15 and the sealing ring 16. As can be seen, this arrangement is merely the mechanical reverse of that of FIGS. 5, 6 and 6A and the operation is similar to that already described with reference to these figures.
The variant of the rings shown in Fig. 9 is built deeper than the recess in the bearing block and has an outer flange 15A, which on the associated surface of the bearing block 10 outside the recess in the latter, into which the part 15 of the ring protrudes and which holds the sealing ring 16 is applied.
In the other variant of the ring arrangement shown in FIG. 10, each such ring 15 engages in a recess in the associated part 12 of the piston 11 and abuts the surface of the bearing block 10. The sealing ring 16 is arranged in this recess in the end 12 of the piston 11 .
As can be seen, in all of the described and illustrated embodiments of the invention, the pressure fluid supplied to the cylinders of the machine exerts a direct thrust on the eccentric without connecting rods or the like in between and without the need for external high-pressure seals.
The invention is not limited to the described and illustrated embodiments. For example, the machine can have a different number of hydraulic cylinders than the five cylinders shown.
