Maximum work for electricity meters
The present invention relates to a maximum mechanism for electricity meters, in which a driver is operatively connected to the rotor of the meter via a disengageable gear and a counter for displaying the average electrical power that has occurred during a measurement period is dragged along.
Simple maximum works are known in which the rotor of the counter drives a maximum pointer, which sits only with friction on its axis, via gearwheels by means of a driver pin, a spring acting on the driver being tensioned.
At the end of the measuring period, a magnet operated by a time switch briefly decouples the gears from the counter's rotor, so that the driver pin returns to its starting position by means of spring force, while the maximum pointer stops at the highest value reached.
Such a maximum mechanism is also known in which the maximum pointer and the associated dial are replaced by a number roller driven by the drive by a drag device. The number roller is also equipped with a backstop and a return spring. At the end of the measurement period, the towing device is separated from the drive by a driven time disk so that it returns to its starting position by means of spring force. At the end of the reading period, the towing device can be uncoupled from the drive by a manual reset and at the same time the backstop of the number roller can be disengaged, whereby both the towing device and the number roller are released to return to the zero position.
The mentioned, known maximum works have the disadvantage that the reading accuracy of the measuring tape length of the maximum scale is insufficient for both a dial and a number roller and that, to increase the accuracy, the scale length for structural reasons, namely because of the specified size of the meter housing, cannot be enlarged.
To avoid this disadvantage, maximum mechanisms have become known in which the usual drag pointer devices or drag roller devices are replaced by roller counters. These known maximum mechanisms, however, disadvantageously require gear arrangements of larger size, such as, for example, additional roller counters or differential gears as idle gears.
The purpose of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages mentioned. According to the invention, the maximum mechanism is characterized in that the driver and a first number roller are arranged on a stationary threaded spindle, with the thread of which they are in engagement to generate an axial feed movement, the number roller being rotated by means of a stop from the driven driver loosely rotatable on the spindle! and axially displaceable a second number roller driven by the first number roller via a switching mechanism is arranged, and that means are provided for disengaging the drive of the driver and resetting the driver to its zero position at the end of the measuring period.
The invention is then explained, for example, with reference to figures. Show it:
1 shows a view and partially a section of a maximum work according to the invention with devices for resetting at the end of the measuring or reading period and
FIG. 2 shows a view of the scales visible on the housing of the maximum mechanism according to FIG.
In the maximum mechanism shown in FIG. 1, a gear wheel 2 driving a clutch shaft 1 is driven by the carrier disk of an electricity meter (not shown) via a reduction gear having several gear wheels as a function of the measured power. On the coupling axis 1, an elongated pinion 3 is arranged, which meshes with a gear 5 forming part of a driver 4. The upper end of the coupling shaft 1 is rotatably supported in an extension of a bracket 6 and its lower end in a stationary bearing 7. The bracket 6 is for its part rotatably mounted about a stationary axis 8 and is held pressed against a stop pin 10 by a spring 9.
The driver 4 has an elongated pinion 11, the axial bore of which engages with the threads of a spindle 12, in the extension of which an axis 13 is arranged. The spindle 12 is fastened in a stationary board 14, which is only shown partially.
A first lower number roller 15 is mounted coaxially and rotatably on the spindle 12. Its axial bore is in engagement with the threads of the spindle 12.
When the number roller 15 is rotated, it is accordingly shifted upwards in the axial direction. In order to cause the number roller 15 to rotate, a drive pin 16 is attached to the gearwheel 5 of the driver 4 and rotates the same with the aid of a corresponding stop 17 provided on the number roller 15.
Above the number roller 15, a second upper number roller 18 is arranged on the spindle 12, which is freely rotatable and axially displaceable on the spindle 12.
For this purpose, the axial bore of the second number roller 18 is provided with a sleeve 19 which slides on the thread of the spindle 12. The sleeve 19 has at its lower end a collar 20, which in one on the upper side of the lower. Number roller 15 provided cylindrical extension 21 arranged groove 22 can rotate. The cylindrical extension 21 has an annular disc 23 in the middle of the same, which engages in a groove 24 of a headstock 25. This is mounted on an axis 26 fastened in the plate 14 so that it can be longitudinally displaced and rotated.
The headstock 25 then serves in a manner known per se to transfer a partial rotation from the lower number roller 15 to the upper number roller 18. when the lower number roller 15 has performed a full turn. To this end, the headstock 25 cooperates on the one hand with several pins arranged on the lower side of the upper number roller 18, which for the sake of simplicity are only indicated by a dashed line and on the other hand with a cylindrical edge surface with a gap on the upper side of the lower roller 15.
As a result of the rotary movement of the carrier disk of the electricity meter, the driver 4 is driven at a reduced rotational speed. At the same time, the driver 4 moves axially along the threaded spindle 12 upwards. The driver 4 transmits the lower number roller 15 via the driver pin 16 and the stop 17: the same rotational movement, whereby the lower number roller 15 moves upwards along the threaded spindle 12 at the same axial speed. At the same time, the upper number roller 18 is pushed upwards, but only rotated through a fixed angle when the lower number roller 15 has made a complete revolution.
At the end of a registration period, the driver 4 is rotated back into its lower starting position or zero position. Here, the two number rollers 15 and 18 remain in their highest level reached at the end of the registration period, since when the driver 4 is reset by turning it in the other direction of rotation, the driver pin 16 no longer acts on the stop 17 and the lower number roller 15 due to friction is prevented with the threads of the threaded spindle 12 from rotating independently under its own weight.
In the following registration period, the driver 4 runs up empty from its zero position. Only if the average power that has occurred in the second or one of the following registration periods is greater than in the first, the driver pin 16 of the driver 4 comes into contact with the stop 17 of the lower number roller 15 again and rotates this and the upper number roller 18 into a corresponding one higher position.
To display the respective maximum value, the number rollers 15 and 18 are provided with scales, the scale of the number roller 18 showing, for example, ten times the units of the scale of the number roller 15. For a maximum display reaching for example at 120 kW, the number roller 15 makes twelve revolutions and the number roller 18 one and 2/10 revolutions. The achieved angle of rotation of the scales is then 4320 degrees, which, compared to known maximum works, in which a number roller can only make just one turn corresponding to about 3300, causes an extremely large scale extension and thus a strong increase in reading accuracy.
To read the status of the number rollers 15, 18, a window 27 with a line mark 28 is provided on the front wall of the counter housing according to FIG.
In order to rotate the driver 4 back into its zero position at the end of a registration period, a rotary magnet 29 is provided which has a flywheel 30 connected to the magnet armature and a two-armed lever 31. The shorter arm of the lever 31 is provided with a pin 32 for actuating an angled part 33 of the bracket 6. The end of the longer arm of the lever 31 carries a roller 34. Below the roller 34, a screw cylinder 36 with a large pitch is mounted on an axle 35 mounted in fixed bearings. At the lower end of the axle 35 a gear 37 is attached, which is in engagement with the elongated pinion 11 of the driver 4.
The operative connection between the gear wheel 37 and the pinion 11 is symbolized in FIG. 1 by a dashed line 38, where the axis 35 is shown shifted to the right for reasons of clarity. In the area of action of the lever 31 of the rotary magnet 29, a pressure spring 39 is also fixedly arranged.
The reset device also includes an axle 40 which is rotatably and axially displaceably mounted in two bearings. The upper end of the axle 40 is connected to a hub 41 on which a gear 42 is seated.
The hub 41 is free to rotate about the lower end of the axle 13. The gearwheel 42 is constantly in engagement with a pinion 43 fastened on the coupling shaft 1 and therefore rotates continuously even when the bracket 6 is moved to the left to disengage the elongated pinion 3. The lower end of the axle 40 rests on the free end of a spring 44 which is held pressed against a stop 45. After all, it's at the bottom! A bell-shaped coupling member 46 is attached to the elongated pinion 11 of the driver 4, the end face of which lies in a plane parallel to the surface of the gearwheel 42.
The driver 4 is reset at the end of a registration period in the following way: At the end of each registration period! by a time-dependent, mechanical or electrical control by means of a time switch, a Ferraris drive, a synchronous motor or whatever Ider the excitation current of the torque magnet 29 shown in Fig. 1 in the energized bandage th 29 briefly interrupted. The rotary magnet 29 then falls off and rotates the flywheel 30 together with the two-armed lever 31 in the direction indicated by an arrow 47.
As a result, the pin 32 hits the right end of the angled part 33 of the bracket 6, pushes the bracket 6 away from the stop pin 10 to the left and uncouples the elongated pinion 3 from the gear 5 of the driver 4. The pinion 43 remains with the gear 42 of the Axis 40 coupled.
In the further course of the rotary movement of the lever 31 hits; the roller 34 on the screw cylinder 36 on.
The axial pressure of the roller 34 on the screw cylinder 36 produces a rotary movement of the axle 35 which now acts on the elongated pinion 11 of the driver 4 via the gear 37.
This rotational movement has the opposite direction of rotation of the driver 4 when driven by the counter axis. The driver 4 is thus rotated downward on the threaded spindle 12 until a pin 48 provided on the underside of the gear 5 strikes a stationary stop 49 in its zero position.
Shortly before reaching the zero position or the stop 49, the bell-shaped coupling part 46 of the driver 4 comes into contact with the surface of the gear 42 and presses the gear 42 with its axis 40 downward against the pressure of the spring 44, so that the spring 44 is a small distance from the stop 45 is lifted. At the same time, that is, shortly before the driver 4 reaches its zero position, the push-off spring 39 with the assistance of the Schwun; z mass 30, which is firmly connected to the Ma guetanker, is slightly compressed by the longer arm of the lever 31 provided with the roller 34.
Since in the compressed position of the forcing spring 39, the driver 4 via the bell-shaped coupling member 46 e! is operatively connected to the counter axis 1 by friction with the constantly engaged gearwheel 42, a brief reverse torque could be exerted on the counter by the roller 34 pressing on the screw cylinder 36. In order to avoid this disadvantage, the push-off torque of the spring 39 is advantageously equal to or greater than the torque of the flywheel 30 and the armature of the rotary magnet 29.
From the moment in which, with the rotary magnet 29 de-energized, the driver 4 is friction-coupled via the bell-shaped coupling member 46 with the constantly rotating gear 42, i.e. from the moment in which the driver 4 has reached its zero position at the stop 49, the driver 4 becomes now driven via the axis 40 and the gear 42 in the sense of a revving. The transmission ratio of the pinion 43 to the gearwheel 42 is the same as that of the elongated pinion 3 to the gearwheel 5.
This auxiliary drive of the driver 4 for maximum formation takes place until the switching interruption time of the rotary magnet 29 has ended, this attracts, the screw cylinder 36 is released and the bracket 6 falls back into its original position on the pin 10, whereby the elongated pinion 3 again mib the gear 5 Ides driver 4 comes into engagement.
The subsequent running up of the driver 4 is Ida's bell-shaped clutch; The transmission member 46 is decoupled from the gearwheel 42 and the axle 40, and the registration is again carried out by the meter via Ida's elongated pinion 3.
The resetting device described ensures that the registration, that is, the forward movement of the driver 4, also takes place during at least 90% of the switching interruption time of the rotary magnet 29, the latter usually being about 1% of the registration period. This reduces the measurement errors that occur during the interruption and reset times.
In known maximum works, a slip clutch is provided between the counter and the maximum part in order to prevent the counter from being blocked in the event of a breakdown of the maximum part, especially when the maximum pointer or the maximum roll reaches its end position.
In the arrangement described, a control pin 50 is arranged on the upper end surface of the number roller 18 for the same purpose, which, when the maximum level of the number roller 15, 18 is exceeded, reaches the area of a tongue 52 provided on a further angled part 51 of the bracket 6. As a result, the bracket 6 is pressed to the left, with the result that the elongated pinion 3 driven by the meter axis is decoupled from the gearwheel 5.
Compared to the slip clutches of known maximum works, the complete decoupling of the drive from the maximum part has the advantage that the meter is not burdened by additional frictional forces in the event of a breakdown in the maximum part.
The maximum mechanism described is provided with a wiser resetting device which allows the maximum rolls to be returned to their zero position at the end of each reading period, for example every month.
This device contains a synchronous motor, not shown, which can drive a gear 53 and thus a vertically arranged axis 54 via several gear wheels. The lower end of the axle 54 is fixedly mounted, while a bore in a multi-armed reset lever, not shown, serves to support its upper end. An elongated pinion 55 is loosely arranged on the axle 54 and is under the pressure of a spring 56 which forms a slip clutch between the axle 54 and the elongated pinion 55.
Furthermore, a circular disk 57 and a pinion 58 are firmly attached to the axis 54.
At the end of a reading period the reset lever is actuated briefly, whereby on the one hand the axis 54 is pivoted in the direction of the arrow 59 and on the other hand a control disk is set in motion for a full revolution via the pinion 58 and other transmission gears. During the rotation of the control disc, the axis 54 remains in the pivoted position, in which the elongated pinion 55 with a gear 60, which ilst attached to the lower number roller 15, comes into engagement.
By shifting the upper end of the axle 54 to the left, the disk 57 presses on the right end of the angled part 51 of the bracket 6 and consequently causes the elongated pinion 3 to be uncoupled from the gear 5 of the driver 4. The rotating shaft 54 thus drives the number roller 15 in the opposite direction of rotation and moves it along the Ge threaded spindle 12 down in Edie zero position. The upper number roller 18 follows the axial movement of the lower, driven number roller 15, as it only rests loosely on the threaded spindle 12 via the sleeve 19, so that the upper number roller 18 is also reset via the headstock 25.
With the aid of the stop 17 and the driver pin 16 attached to the driver 4, the driver 4 also rotates at the same time with simultaneous axial displacement downward. The zero position of the number roller 15, 18 and the driver 4 is reached when the pin 48 of the driver 4 reaches the stationary stop 49. Since the pinion 55 is driven by the spring 56 acting as a slip clutch, the number roller 15, 18 or the driver 4 cannot be damaged even if the axle 54 continues to rotate.
As soon as the control disk has completed a full turn, which, due to the appropriate dimensioning of the gears mentioned, may only take place when the driver 4 has reached the lower stop 49, the reset lever is returned to its rest position, causing the upper end of the axle 54 to move again moves to the starting position shown on the right. The two pinions 55 and 58 disengage, and the disk 57 releases the lever 6 via the lever part 51. As a result, the driver 4 is again coupled to the elongated pinion 3 and the counter axis, so that the maximum registration can take place again in the manner described.
