Method for producing metal slats for slat blinds The present invention relates to a method for producing metal slats for slats.
In the case of a roller blind, for example, whose slat armor is formed from a plurality of metal slats curved in cross section, the supporting strips are hinged in such a way that they mutually overlap the slats in the closed position. When the slats of a slat armor of this type are closed, the front edge of each slat hits the area of the next lower slat adjacent to the rear edge, which can usually cause considerable noise and damage to the outside of the slats.
It has already been proposed in the case of Venetian blinds with pivotable bearings and the slats overlap each other in the closed position, to anchor a strip made of a noise-dampening material of the type in which the strip Cin:
The bent longitudinal edge covers the adjacent section of the upper side of the slats and when the slats are pivoted into their closed position, the impact of the adjacent slats is dampened. So far, the anchoring of the mentioned strips in the lamellas took place after their production in an additional work process, which increased the time required to manufacture a lamella and the manufacturing process was more complicated.
The present invention aims to create a method for the production of metal lamellas for lamellas, in particular of the type mentioned above, with which a strip of noise-damping material can be anchored without increasing the time and effortlessly in the area of one longitudinal edge, which covers a section of the upper side of the lamella adjacent to the bent longitudinal edge.
According to the invention, this purpose is achieved in that a metal strip is continuously fed to a rolling mill, in which at least one longitudinal edge of the strip is pre-bent, that in the area of the pre-bent longitudinal edge a strip of noise-dampening material, which strip is from moving through the rolling mill Metal band is continuously tightened, is introduced,
wherein the longitudinal edge after the introduction of the strip during its further movement through the rolling mill for the purpose of Einklem men of the strip is finished bent, after which the depending Weil deformed band after leaving the rolling works with respect to dimensions of the lamellae corre sponding parts are cut.
With such a process, there is no additional time required to produce a lamella by putting the strips or strips on. The strip made of noise-dampening material is used here surprisingly effortlessly.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing using an example: The illustrated device for carrying out the method according to the invention for the purpose of producing slats for roller blinds essentially comprises a replenishment station D, which continuously includes a belt 11, preferably made of aluminum, a rolling mill generally designated as F.
In addition, an introduction station s is provided which is to the side of the rolling mill F and which continuously delivers a strip 25 (FIGS. 1 and 3) to the rolling mill in order to introduce it into the same during the preforming of the strip 11. The continuously released and moving strip 11 with the one guided strip leaves the rolling mill and arrives at the cutting device c, where the strip 11 is cut into individual lamellae 60 (FIG. 4) of a certain length with inserted strips 25.
The device shown for producing the lamellae 60 will now be explained in more detail below. At the replenishment station D a supply roll 10 is arranged, of which a metal strip 11, for. B. from Alumi nium, continuously withdrawn and the rolling mill to be performed. The rolling mill comprises a number of rolling stands, of which only the two stands 12 and 13 are indicated in more detail. At each stand, two pairs of rolling rollers working together are rotatably arranged. The stand 12 is seen with a first and a second pair of cooperating rolling rollers 15, 16 and 17, 18 ver.
Similarly, the following stand 13 is provided with two further pairs of rolling rollers 19, 20 and 21, 22. The roller sets are driven in a known manner by suitable means, so that the strip 11 is continuously withdrawn from the supply roller 10 and advanced between the roller sets 15 to 22 towards the cutting station.
The rolling rollers 15 to 22 are designed in a suitable manner so that the continuous strip 11 is gradually deformed into the desired shape.
In the entry area of the rolling mill, the strip is preformed by the rolling rollers. The rear edge 11a, which has to be deformed to the inwardly curved lower longitudinal edge 62 of the finished lamella 60 according to FIG. 4, is bent slightly upwards, while the front edge l 1b, that of the upper beaded edge 63 of the finished lamella 60 must be shaped, is bent down slightly. At the same time, the middle area 11c and the area 11d of the tape are also preformed in accordance with the outwardly curved middle part 61 or the slightly inwardly bent part 64 of each lamella.
The strip 11 is bent more and more by the subsequent rolling rollers 15-22 until it has reached the desired final shape.
It can be seen that in the area of the rolling roller sets 17, 18 and 19, 20 a strip introduction station s is attached. This latter comprises a supply roll 23 from which a strip 25 of elastic material, such as. B. rubber, plastic and the like., Is withdrawn. The strip 25 first passes through a suitable lubricating device 26 GE, which the strip upper surface with a suitable lubricant, such as. B. talc powder, provides to improve its sliding properties ver.
The lubricating device 26 is attached to the housing 29 of the rolling mill by means of a strut 28. After passing through the lubrication device 26, the strip 25 enters a guide 27 which is designed as a guide rail 30 curved in the direction of movement of the strip 11, the passage 33 of which has a cross section for the strip that advantageously matches the transverse dimensions of the strip is.
It can be seen from FIG. 3 that the strip 25 has a cylindrical edge bead 34 from which a substantially flat web 35 protrudes tangentially. After exiting the outlet end 32 of the guide rail 30, the strip 25 penetrates beneath the strip 11 with its edge bead into the preformed longitudinal edge 11b and is clamped into the longitudinal edge 11b by the directly adjoining rolling rollers 19, 20.
Fig. 2 shows the formation of the cooperating rolling rollers 19, 20, and it can be seen that the parts 19a and 20a of the rolling rollers 19 and 20 are designed such that the cylindrical edge bead 34 of the strip 25 through its passage the rollers 19, 20 through the flange 11b, which is further deformed at this point,
grasped and clamped and as the strip is inserted into the beaded edge 11b, its web-shaped section 25 coming to rest against the inwardly bent part 11d of the tape.
The strip 11 with the inserted strip 25 leaves the roller pair 19, 20 and then passes through the other roller pairs on the exit side of the rolling mill, which end the deformation process of the strip 11. During the further deformation process, the strip 25 is anchored immovably in the band 11.
Since the Wglmo @ llenpiaare of the rolling mill (are anggetxie-ben, the strip 11 is continuously withdrawn from the supply roll 10, and the strip 25, which is clamped in the Be rich of the rolling roller pair 19, 20 in the flange 11b, is thus with the Belt 11 is also continuously withdrawn against the exit end of the rolling mill F if it is.
The finished formed band 11 with inserted Strei fen 25 arrives after leaving the rolling mill to the cutting device c. The cutting device comprises a housing 36 in which a known cutting element in the form of a knife 37 is arranged, which can be actuated by a fluid-actuated working cylinder 39 in order to cut the strip 11 to form the lamellae 60 into parts of a certain length.
It can also be seen from FIG. 1 that the housing 36 has an inlet opening 42 and an outlet opening 43 through which the band 11 extends. The shape of the inlet and outlet openings 42 and 43 corresponds essentially to the cross-sectional shape of the deformed belt 11. Since the belt 11 moves continuously forward, it is necessary that the cutting device also moves forward with the belt, the cutting process only then is released when the knife 37 and the tape 11 move in the same direction at the same speed.
For this purpose, the housing 36 is provided on its one side with an arm 44, at the end of which the rollers 45 and 46 are rotatably mounted. These rollers 45 and 46 run on a rail 47 which extends in the conveying direction of the belt 11. At the end face 49 of the housing 36, a spring 48 is also arranged, one end of which is attached to the end face 49 of the housing and the other end is anchored at 50 on the rail 47.
This spring 48 serves as a return member in order to return the housing 36 with the knife to the starting position depending on the cutting process. On the opposite side of the housing 36 of the cutting device, a rod 52 is attached, the free end of which is provided with a downwardly protruding stop 53 which cooperates with the front end 11e of the advancing belt 11. After the continuously moving forward belt 11 has passed the inlet opening 42 and the outlet opening 43 of the housing 36, it strikes the stop 53 as it moves further forward.
At this moment, the band 11 takes the cutting device with it against the action of the spring 48. After traversing a certain distance together, the housing 36 actuates a not dargestell th limit switch, which then triggers the supply of pressure fluid to the working cylinder 39 and thus the cutting process in order to cut off a length of the strip 11 corresponding to the lamella 60. After the band part of the desired length has been cut off by means of the knife 37, the cutting device is returned to the starting position by means of the return spring 48, after which the process described can begin again.
In order to start the process described for producing the lamellas, it is only necessary to begin by placing the front free end of the strip 25 between the rolling rollers 19, 20 by hand. After the start, the strip 25 is then automatically gripped by the front end of the longitudinal edge 11b of the tape 11 and continuously withdrawn from the supply roll.
FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of part of a lamellar armor with a plurality of lamellas 60 which were produced according to the method described. It can be seen from the figure that each lamella 60 has a central part 61 with an inwardly bent section 64, to which the outwardly bent flange edge 63 adjoins and has an inwardly bent longitudinal edge 62. The longitudinal edge 62 corresponds to the upwardly bent longitudinal edge of the band 11 according to FIG. 1, and the flanged edge 63 corresponds to the downwardly bent section 11b of the band 11.
It can also be seen that the already mentioned strip 25 is anchored in the flanged edge 63 of each lamella 60 and that the base part, which gnaws away tangentially, covers the upper side of the inwardly bent section of the central part. Each lamella 60 is provided at its front ends with a guide pin 65, of which only one is shown in FIG.
The guide pins 65 are attached to the front ends of the slats by means of plates 66 riveted to the inner surfaces of the slats. The lamellas are articulated in a manner known per se via the guide bolts on guide strips (not shown).
From Fig. 4 it can be seen that in the closed position of the lamellar armor, the inwardly bent longitudinal edges against the tangentially projecting web parts 35 of the strips 25 come to rest, whereby metallic contact between adjacent lamellae is avoided.
