EMI3.2
EMI3.4
Für den Mindestabstand bzw. Mindestlücke der Beutel bzw. Pakete im Falle V > 0 gilt : gmin = V s = (a+b) ; a = Lücke zwischen zwei Beuteln, b = Beutelbreite.
PATENTANSPRt@CHE I. Process for the transfer of items of goods into a packaging machine
In the case of continuously rotating packaging machines that are fed with sticky goods via special feed devices, it is of decisive importance, with a view to a trouble-free workflow, that the good pieces to be packaged enter the packaging machine at regular intervals and at such a speed that the transfer process goes smoothly. This means that the good pieces must be brought to the pitch and speed of the packaging machine.
In many cases, on the one hand, a direct mechanical coupling of the drive for the feed device with the drive for the packaging machine cannot be achieved, and on the other hand, the good pieces usually do not arrive properly. This means, however, that the packaging machine and the feed device both rotate at different speeds and do not match with regard to the distance between the good pieces fed in and the pitch of the filling material receptacle. These circumstances have a very detrimental effect on the transfer of the items to be filled into the packaging machine and prevent proper functioning.
In order to avoid these inadequacies, it is conceivable to let the items of filling material run onto a barrier, to buffer them and then to transfer the individual items of filling material to the packaging machine in a timed manner using suitable means.
Such a transfer method can no longer be used, however, if the fillings are relatively soft and therefore deform when they run into one another. A typical example of such a product is bags, tubes, margarine cubes, etc.
The invention is based on the object of searching for a method for transferring filling goods arriving at a distance from one another on a continuously running feeder to a packaging machine, which at least largely ensures independence from different speeds between the feeder and packaging machine and from different distances between the individual filling goods arriving one after the other .
According to the invention, this goal is achieved in that a stationary circulating conveyor, which is driven by the packaging machine and assigned to the feed belt, acts on the incoming filling items in such a way that they each receive the acceleration or deceleration required for a clock and speed-correct transfer to the corresponding pickups of the packaging machine by changing the Speed of the product compared to that of the feed belt is imposed.
It has proven to be particularly expedient to design the circulating conveyor as a chain rotating in a vertical plane, which contains a number of drivers which are equally spaced from one another and which slide on a guide track that runs above the feed belt and consists of several sections and each of which is dependent on the eyes Leave visual assignment of a product to the corresponding driver by falling down to a limited extent. The assigned driver then acts on the product in question and brings it to the speed required for transferring the product to the packaging machine and, if necessary, to the correct position.
Further details are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, in which some exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated schematically.
Show it :
1 shows a partially perspective illustration of a device for carrying out the method according to the invention.
2 shows a partial view of the circulating conveyor and the feed belt after the actuating magnet has responded.
FIGS. 3-6 show part of a device for carrying out the method according to the invention, which works with a storage drum which, in side view (Fig.
3) and top view (Fig. 4) is shown.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a partially illustrated Karto niermaschine which contains two-part filling material cups 2, each having the pitch s from each other. The product cups are attached to a continuously revolving chain 3.
The circulating conveyor in the form of a chain 5 provided with drivers 4 is drive-coupled to the cartoning machine and rotates synchronously with it. The mutual spacing of the drivers 4 corresponds to the pitch s of the product cups 2.
The feed belt 6 can be driven on its own, but optionally also from the cartoning machine or from the circulating conveyor, with a certain reduction ratio being adjustable. Sometimes a variable speed gearbox can also be useful for speed regulation.
8, 9 denotes a light barrier consisting of a light transmitter and light receiver, which is followed by a photo amplifier 10 that operates on a relay coil 11 that controls the circuit of the actuating magnet 12, as is also done by the pushbutton contact 13.
The light barrier can be arranged to be displaceable in the transport direction of the product, and the use of a further light barrier 8 ', 9' is also often expedient.
The device described above works as follows: The packages 14, automatically or manually placed on the conveyor belt at time intervals, each pass the light barrier 8, 9. This interrupts the light beam for a while and creates a voltage pulse which, if necessary after previous reshaping, is amplified and causes the relay armature 7 to respond.
If, as indicated by dashed lines in Fig. 1, the pushbutton contact 13 is closed at this point in time, for example by the carrier of a driver pin 4, then, with a suitable choice of the speed difference between the circulating conveyor 5 and the feed belt 6 and a corresponding spatial arrangement of the light barrier, a pin 4 is located 'already on the rail section 15 before an arriving package 14 has reached the end face of this rail section.
Since the relay 7, 11 has picked up and the push button contact is still closed due to a certain length, current flows through the winding of the actuating magnet 12, so that the piece of rail combined with the armature 12 'is pulled away transversely to the transport direction (see Fig. 2). , and so clears the path for the driver pin 4 ', which falls down to a limited extent and reaches the space between the two packages 14 and 14'.
In the phase recorded in FIG. 2, the pin 4 'has just left the touch contact 13, and the package 14' has already passed the section 15.
On the way to the cartoning machine, in the case of Vu> Vs, the pin 4 'catches up with the package or bag 14', pushes it forwards and finally at the required speed (Vu) into the current container of the cartoning machine, the speed of which is V = Vu is.
If Vu <VB, then the bags or packages run onto the pins 4 and are thus brought to the required speed and held. The bags are then pushed into the cups of the cartoning machine by the following carrier.
The speed difference AV between the feed belt and the circulating conveyor or, given a given, unchangeable speed ratio, the length of the rail section 16 must be selected so that in the worst case, namely when a package 14 is passing the light barrier at the time at which a driver makes the tactile contact leaves, the driver in question remains on the rail section 15 and safely hits a gap between two packs if it falls down after leaving the rail section 16.
The movably guided drivers slide back into the starting position after the chain has been deflected due to their gravity.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3-6, a storage device in the form of a drum 17 is used, and the engagement path 1, during which the drivers can fall down, is divided into eight sections 18.
The storage drum 17 contains axially displaceable pins 19 which are arranged on a circle and to which eight pushbutton contacts 20 attached at the same distance from one another are assigned. The storage drum is driven by the feed belt 6. The circumference of the storage drum is chosen so that it corresponds to the length of the path of contact (transmission ratio 1: 1). How large the circumference of the storage drum is to be dimensioned only depends on the transmission ratio.
For example, it can be a multiple of the length of the contact path or be correspondingly smaller.
According to the number of sections 18, cam contacts 21 are provided which can be combined in a switching mechanism that is driven by the cartoning machine. Resetting magnets 22, of which eight are also present, are used to trigger the sections 18 and thus the driver pins 4.
The functioning of this device is as follows:
If the light barrier 8, 9 is interrupted when a package or a bag is passing, a voltage pulse is generated which, via the amplifier 23, causes the actuating magnet 24 to respond. As a result, the storage pins 19, which are just opposite the magnet 24, are axially displaced.
In the course of the further rotation of the storage drum, the displaced pins reach the first pushbutton contact 20. If the cam contact 21 assigned to this pushbutton contact is currently closed, the associated release magnet 22 is actuated, which releases the path for a driver 4, so that this after falls down. Instead of a driver, a flap can also be swiveled downwards.
This simultaneity in the response of a pushbutton contact 20 and the associated cam contact 21, the duration of which must not be longer than the time it takes for a bag to cover a distance corresponding to the space between two bags, is only present when the relevant driver is located or the flap is located between two packages or bags.
In order to prevent the bags from jamming or accumulating, the number of receptacles (cups) of the cartoning machine passing through per unit of time must be the number of bags arriving during this time. Correspondingly, the pitch g of the bags @ must be the pitch s of the carrier of the rotary conveyor. The pitch differences are compensated for along the distance l. The minimum length of 1 for the case Vu> VB can be derived from the relationship
EMI3.1
determine.
Here, s is the pitch, VB is the speed of the feed belt, V is the speed of the cardboard cups and y is the percentage additional output per unit of time.
Assuming that VB = 0.8 Vu, y = 10 / o and s = 50 cm, then it follows from the relation for I. i ,,:
EMI3.2
This is the path that a carrier travels until it has caught up with the previous bag.
If Vu <VB, then the relation applies:
EMI3.3
For s = 50 cm and Vs = 1.2 Vu follows for the minimum run-up distance
EMI3.4
The following applies to the minimum distance or minimum gap between the bags or packages in the case of V> 0: gmin = V s = (a + b); a = gap between two bags, b = bag width.
The actual bag distance for the case VB VB 100 + y> O is given by g =
VK 100 '
The minimum distance must not be exceeded, otherwise two bags, for example, can get into one cup. If the distance is too small, the corresponding bags are automatically eliminated.
In principle, it is also possible to use mechanical buttons instead of photoelectric scanning systems.
