Additional patent to main patent no. 417193 smoker's object The invention is a further embodiment of the smoker's object according to the claim of the main patent, according to which a Mag net is arranged in the same, which generates the magnetic field in acting on the smoke. The further training consists in the combination of a magnet with a special filter which, under the influence of the magnetic field, has particularly high properties for filtering nicotine and tobacco tar.
The inventive additional smoker's object is characterized in that a fine, brush-like filter cartridge is arranged in the area of the magnetic field, the whole thing in such a way that tar and nicotine stick to the brush parts of the filter cartridge when smoking tobacco.
The magnet generating the magnetic field can be installed in a tobacco pipe or a cigarette holder and also in the mouthpiece of a cigar, cigarette or the like.
In the drawing, several embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, for example, namely: Fig. 1 shows a smoking object designed as a cigarette holder with in the areas of the magnetic field on filter cartridge, Fig. 2 is a cross-section along line II-II in Fig. 1, in a larger Scale, Fig. 3 a longitudinal section through a filter cartridge, on a larger scale,
4 shows a cross section through the filter cartridge according to line IV-IV in FIG. 3, FIG. 5 shows a cross section through a variant of the filter cartridge, FIG. 6 shows a suitable brush element for the manufacture of the filter cartridge and FIG. 7 shows a cross section according to line VII -VII in FIG. 6.
According to the first embodiment of the Raucherge object, a magnet is arranged in a cigarette holder with a sleeve-shaped part 6 which receives the cigarette and which has an extension 8 'of its bore 8. The latter is formed according to Fig. 1 and 2 by two in the enlarged bore 8 'in the inner wall of the sleeve, diametrically opposite embedded hollow cylinder segments 5 made of magnetic steel sheet or Mag netpulver containing plastic. The mag net 5 at the same time partially form a bushing of the sleeve 6 for insertion of the socket part 7 a of the mouthpiece 7.
The bore 8 ″ of the holder receiving the filter 9 forms a continuation of the bore 8 of the sleeve 6, which receives the cigarette, and is adapted to the diameter of the filter cartridge 9. The filter cartridge 9 has a paper or plastic sleeve 9c that forms the jacket of the cartridge, which encloses one or in bundled form several roller brushes with dense cotton fiber trim.
As a brush body, the commercially available pipe cleaners can be used, which consist of cotton threads or fibers 9b set in helically twisted wires 9a, as illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7. These brush bodies are cut in bundles of 6-7 pieces to the desired length and put in a sleeve 9 made of paper or plastic, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 5.
In Fig. 3 and 4, a filter cartridge is illustrated which contains seven brush bodies 9a, 9b in a bundled form. The jacket of the cartridge 9 consists of a paper or plastic sleeve, which has on the inside, two thin-walled hollow cylinder segments 5 made of magnetic steel sheet or plastic containing magnetic steel powder at two diametrically opposite points.
According to Fig. 5, thin magnet steel wires or rods made of magnetic steel powder can also serve as magnets containing the plastic, which are arranged on the inside of the paper or plastic jacket surrounding the filter body 9a, 9b.
In practical tests, which were carried out by neutral bodies with the subject of the invention described, a reduction in nicotine by 49% and in tar by 51% was found. If the filter cartridge 9 or magnet 5 was only used alone, these high measured values did not occur. The coupling of the mechanical and magnetic forces resulting from the passage of tobacco smoke through the brush-like filter cartridge and the magnet should have contributed significantly to achieving this effect.
Magnet hydrodynamics, i.e. the theory of the behavior of liquids, in the present case nicotine and tar, with electrical conductivity in the magnetic field can presumably explain the phenomenon of nicotine and tar reduction in tobacco smoke.
