Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch die Vorrichtung,
Device to make changing bobbins easier
The invention relates to a device for making it easier to change bobbins, especially on spinning machines with high take-off speeds.
As is known, when the thread is continuously tapering, it must be ensured during the bobbin changing process that the intake of the thread is not interrupted. This is generally done by a running galette on which the thread is placed before the bobbin change and then picked up until the bobbin change has ended.
This known procedure has generally proven itself, but has a major disadvantage. As soon as the bobbin changing process is finished, the waste must be removed from the godet. This is usually done by destroying and pulling off the randomly accumulated roll with a special tool. In doing so, it is unavoidable that a lot of small and tiny fiber particles arise, which swirl up and settle on the incoming thread and on the newly created lap. It is easy to understand that this can result in considerable disruptions in the further processing of the threads.
The object of the invention is to create a device which can accommodate the incoming thread during the bobbin changing process instead of the usual godet and thereby avoids the deficiencies of the known godet. To achieve this, the device should be able to work, for example, in such a way that the sharply bundled air jet from a blower nozzle arranged above a calibrated mouthpiece pushes the thread against the thread tension into the narrow channel of the mouthpiece and, with the aid of a in this channel, through a at its end arranged ejector-like suction nozzle generated negative pressure is transported away.
The device according to the invention is characterized by the combination of a blowing nozzle and a suction nozzle which act in the same direction and which coincide in their effect, the two nozzles being connected to a common pressure chamber, being arranged coaxially and their performance so coordinated that the effect of the suction nozzle completely covers that of the blower nozzle.
Except for spinning machines, the device can be used with advantage wherever threads are continuously wound up and where the time required for changing the bobbin has to be bridged by a device that maintains the thread transport. In the case of spinning machines, for example, it can be permanently installed near the normal thread path and, if necessary, set in motion by any known circuit, or it can be designed as a handset.
An exemplary embodiment of the device according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Show it :
1 shows a cross section through the device,
Fig. 2 shows the stabionary arrangement of the device in the vicinity of the winding point.
A hose holder 2 for connecting the compressed gas supply is attached to the housing 1 of the device shown. The middle piece 3 is screwed into the housing, which has a central bore 20, 21 widened at the front end to form a conical egg hopper 9 and at its rear end a projection 22 for pushing on a hose for the removal of the sucked thread. The housing is closed at the front by a head piece 5 with a blower attachment 6, which is connected to the housing 1 in a gas-tight manner with the aid of the screws 11 and the seal 23.
The center piece 3 screwed into the housing 1 is also connected to the housing 1 in a fixed and gas-tight manner with the aid of the ring nut 10 and the seal 12. A mouthpiece 7 and a suction tube 8 are inserted in the head piece 5: the latter, together with the bore 20 of the middle piece 3 and its conical enlargement 9 ', forms the suction nozzle.
The compressed gas entering through the channel 13 of the hose connector 2 reaches the gas space 14, which is formed between the inner wall of the housing and the center piece 3, and from there into the distributor space 15. From here, part of the compressed gas flows through the channel 16 into the Blowing nozzle 17, which is exactly centered and opens at a small distance above the bore 18 of the mouthpiece 7. The suction channel 19 connects directly to the bore 18 of the mouthpiece 7, which protrudes a little into the channel 20 of the center piece 3 and together with this and the conical enlargement 9 forms an ejector nozzle.
The press gas flowing in from the distributor space 15 through the conical enlargement 9 of the bore 20 generates a strong suction effect in the area of the end of the suction channel 19 in a known manner.
By suitably coordinating the channel diameter, in particular the cross sections of the blow nozzle 17, the mouthpiece bore 18,. of the suction channel 19 and the suction nozzle channel 20, it is not possible that the suction effect in the channel 19 and the mouthpiece bore 18 is sufficient to reliably absorb the entire amount of gas escaping through the blow nozzle 17 and this in the suction channel consisting of the bores 18 and 19 to accelerate strongly that the desired effect occurs.
However, the effect of the device is greatly reduced if the mouthpiece does not absorb the entire blow stream, but rather a part billows from the side. Therefore, the channel cross-sections of the blow nozzle 17, the mouthpiece bore 18 with the adjoining suction channel 19 and the suction nozzle channel 20 should be 1: 1, 8 to 2, 5: 3 to 5, preferably about 1: 2, 2: 4.
A pressure between 3 and 8 at, preferably between 5 and 7 at pressure can be used to operate the device. It has been shown that if the individual channels of the device are not dimensioned in accordance with the specified ratios and a gas pressure within the specified limits, the combined blowing and suction action is sufficient to ensure that both the full bobbin and also to tear off the end of the thread between the bobbin and the device when the thread is put back onto the empty bobbin.
If the thread to be sucked off is now inserted through the opening of the mouthpiece 7 between the blow nozzle and the mouthpiece, it is pressed so far into the bore 18 of the mouthpiece 7 by the pressure of the gas jet, forming a loop, that it is now through the suction of the The suction nozzle formed at the end of the part 8 is pulled into the device against the thread tension and is conveyed away through the bore 21 to the rear.
It has been shown that this effect only occurs through the combination between the blowing device, consisting of the attachment 6 and the bores 16 and 17, and the suction device, consisting of the suction nozzle 7 with the bore 18, the insert 8 with a conical outer wall in connection with the conical enlargement 9 of the middle piece 3 and the channel 20 can be achieved, and only if the dimensions are kept within the specified limits.
Fig. 2 shows an example arrangement of the device on a melt spinning machine. The incoming thread bundle 31 runs over a lower godet 27 and an upper godet 26, from where the threads 24 run to the bobbin pair 29. Below the upper godet 26, a suction nozzle 30, which in principle corresponds to the construction shown in FIG. 1, is arranged in such a way that it is not normally touched by the threads. The thread pair 24 was inserted between the blow nozzle 6 and the mouthpiece 7 while the nozzle was started up at the same time, whereupon it was sucked in and torn off from the two full bobbins 29.
The latter is indicated by the dashed line 25 between nozzle 30 and coils 29.
When the bobbin change process is finished, the two threads are individually deflected between nozzle 30 and the upper godet using a suitable tool, usually a simple spinning hook, and pivoted around the respective empty bobbin a few times. The winding process then starts again and the thread between the nozzle and the bobbin breaks off.
Of the,. The thread transported away by the tube pushed onto the attachment 22 is collected in a waste container which is emptied when necessary.
