Fig. 6 zeigt eine Seitenansicht der Fig. 5.
Fig. 8 zeigt eine Seitenansicht der Fig. 7.
Device for guiding and / or lateral displacement of material webs, in particular textile webs
Previously known devices for guiding moving textile webs mostly use so-called web guides, which move the web alternately to the left or right web edge by means of pairs of rollers attached at an angle to the web edge. If this movement takes place at short intervals and in small amplitudes, then a fairly precise product and straight line guidance is achieved. However, these devices have the disadvantage that they have to be adjusted to the given width of the fabric for different fabric widths. Additional devices such as supports or the like are required for this.
Furthermore, these devices touch the web from both sides, so from above and below, which is with both. for example coated webs is unfavorable or not permitted.
Other devices for guiding webs of material use cylindrical guide rollers around which the web of material wraps a certain angle. These guide rollers, which are at right angles to the direction of movement of the goods in retirement, are swiveled out of this right angle by a certain amount. These devices have the disadvantage that complex bearings and adjustment devices are usually required. In addition, when the guide roller is pivoted, a relative movement occurs between the fabric surface and the peripheral surface of the guide roller, which can have an unfavorable effect on the fabric tension.
There are also known (US Pat. No. 2,643,116 and DAS No. 1,132,530) such guide rolls which have a variable surface; on the circumference of these guide rollers movable elements such as profile bars or rubber bands or self-contained rubber pads are provided transversely to the running direction.
However, these movable elements have to be moved in the desired manner by mostly complicated kinematic elements such as swash plates, hydraulic cylinders or curves. These devices are usually structurally complex and lead to frequent malfunctions in the event of high wear and are therefore uneconomical. The invention proposes to remedy the disadvantages mentioned in a device of the type defined at the outset that the sub-elements are connected to one or more ring-shaped members encompassing the roller axis, the or each member on a member encompassing the roller axis and non-rotatable relative to the roller axis and non-pivoting ring-like, such. B. designed as a sleeve bearing member is freely rotatable, the bearing member is inclined relative to the roller axis.
The subject of the present invention is a device for guiding and / or lateral displacement of webs of material, in particular textile webs, by means of which the above-mentioned disadvantages inherent in the previous embodiments are to be eliminated.
According to the invention, the device is characterized in that the sub-elements are connected to one or more ring-shaped members encompassing the roller axis, the or each member being seated freely rotatable on an annular bearing member that encompasses the roller axis and is non-rotatable and non-pivotable relative to the roller axis , wherein the bearing member is inclined with respect to the roller axis.
Embodiments of the invention are explained with reference to the drawing.
Fig. 1 is a view in longitudinal section.
Fig. 2 shows the development of a bearing plate or the surrounding area.
3 shows a section of the roller in such a rotational position of the axis that the material web is guided to the right as seen in the running direction.
FIG. 4 shows a side view of FIG. 3.
5 shows a roller section, the axis being in such a rotational position that the material web does not experience any lateral deflection.
FIG. 6 shows a side view of FIG. 5.
7 shows a roller section, the rotational position of the axis being such that the material web is shifted to the left as seen in the running direction.
FIG. 8 shows a side view of FIG. 7.
Fig. 9 shows a special version of the roller. wherein here the roller consists of individual, juxtaposed turntables or the like.
From Fig. 1 it can be seen that a sleeve 3 (bearing member) attached by the wedge 2 to prevent rotation is seated on the axis 1, but which is designed such that its plane surface deviates by an angle 2 from the perpendicular to the roller axis. The bush 3 carries the ball bearing 4, on which in turn the outer ring 5 (annular member) is drawn. The surface of the roller consists of individual rods or segments 6, which are pivotably mounted in the outer ring 5 about the axes or joints 7. The axis 1 can be rotated, preferably locked, in the bearings 8, 9. The axis 1 is rotated by a lever 10 or the like.
2 shows that, for example, a point 11, which is located on the surface of the roller, describes the development 12 during one revolution of the roller. From Fig. 2 it can also be seen that a web of material running onto the surface of the bars (partial elements) 6 at point A leaves the surface of the bars 6 again at point B if a wrap angle corresponding to the distance A-B is selected. After the goods left the roller surface at point B, they were laterally displaced by 1. If you select the approach point C and the run-off point D, no lateral shift of the material line will occur. If one continues to select the run-on point B and the run-off point E, a lateral displacement of the material web with the dimension r is obtained, this displacement of the material web in the opposite direction corresponding to the displacement 1.
These individual phases are shown again in FIGS. 3 and 8, whereby in FIG. 3 a shift of the material web 13 is achieved to the right as seen in the direction of movement of the goods, in FIG. 5 no lateral directional influence is exerted on the material web 13 and in FIG. 7 a shift of the web 13 occurs laterally to the left as seen in the direction of the goods running.
The side views of FIGS. 4, 6 and 8 show the corresponding controls of the lever 10, whereby it should be noted that any other position of the lever 10 can of course also be set, with only the extent and direction of the lateral movement correction changing in a predetermined manner.
A further embodiment is shown in FIG. 9. Many individual rotatable disks (partial elements) 14, 14 ', 14 ", etc. are attached to the axis 1, each consisting of the sleeve 3, the ball bearing 4 and the one here with a cylindrical or spherical surface The outer ring 5 (= 14) provided on the rotatable disks 14, 14 'etc. can also be fitted with a jacket 15 made of elastic material such as rubber.
The adjusting lever 10 provided on the roller axis 1 enables controlled or dependent forces to act on the respective web edge position (or from the lateral migration of the web edge) in order to return the web laterally to the correct position.
The roller axis 1 is driven to rotate at a constant or changing, possibly program-controlled speed and allows constant traversing (lateral movement of the material web to and fro).
In addition to the gradual correction of the goods run by changing the inclination of the bearing plates or
Bearing organs also take place, even at the moment of the adjustment, a lateral shift of the web in the direction of the material flow correction by the lateral shift of the roller surface, so also at the moment of the adjustment of the inclined position of the end shields. Smaller material run corrections are made at the moment of adjustment of the bearing plates or members without having to wait until the material web has been brought into the desired running direction due to the inclined direction of travel of the roller surface.
The device described can also be used as an adjustable guide roller in the fabric run of a textile machine, possibly also a paper machine or a paper or plastic processing machine, whereby the fabric run can be corrected by setting or rotating the roller axis once.
In order to continuously regulate the direction of movement of the goods, the roller axis 1 could be continuously corrected with known means, such as magnets, motors or hydraulic or other means, depending on the lateral migration of the material web that has taken place or is sensed. It follows that any change in the direction of travel of a web can be made, such as. B. an oscillating traversing of the running web.
