Description
Packaging for containers with necks
The present invention relates to a packaging intended for the handling, storage and transport of containers with necks, for example bottles and making it possible in particular, in a simple manner, to constitute piusieux layers of superimposed bottles forming a handling unit, either manual. for small portable quantities, or of the pallet type for larger quantities.
According to the invention, said packaging is characterized in that it is formed by means of panels having holes in which are placed the necks of containers forming a layer such that the bottoms of the containers with a layer placed above of a panel can rest between the necks of the containers of the lower layer and be blocked by them.
Embodiments of a packaging according to the invention are described below by way of example, and with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which:
Fig. 1 is a partial elevational view of a pallet type package.
Fig. 2 is a partial top view of the packaging of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a partial view of the packaging along III-III of FIG. 1.
Fig. 4 is a partial view of a particular embodiment of a packaging panel.
The packaging shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 consists of plates which may be made of plywood, cardboard, plastic, metal or any other material, and which are pierced with holes 1 intended to receive the necks 2 of the bottles. , such that the space between the necks can receive the bottoms 3 of the bottles placed above the plate.
It is important that this space (therefore the eunotment of each plate on the necks of the bottles) is calculated in such a way that the bottoms 3 of the bottles of the upper layer are aalée by the necks of the bottles of the lower layer, in order to avoid any lateral displacement.
Several beds of bottles can thus be formed, allowing a homogeneous load of bottles to be placed, and it will be noted that this leads to the use of two models of plates P1 and P2 to be used alternately and differing from each other. by the distribution of holes 1.
In addition, the outer bottles on the plates P1 can be blocked by wedges 4 bordering these plates, the outer bottles resting on the plates P2 being themselves blocked by the necks of the bottles in the lower bed.
The packaging, handling and transport units thus formed can have all possible dimensions and, in particular, they can range from a manual handling unit to a unit of the pallet type 5 here constituting the base of the unit. packaging shown in fig. 1. In order to facilitate stacking, the upper plate can then be provided with cleats 6, these cleats being able, moreover, to serve as supports for strapping links 7 of the assembly.
As shown in fig. 4, it is also possible to use, instead of perforated plates, mesh panels 8, either made of iron wire, or of plastic wire or other material, of round section or of various shapes. These mesh panels have meshes corresponding to the dimension provided for the passage of the necks 2 of bottles. The bottoms 3 of the bottles in the upper layer, as before, will fit into the necks of the bottles in the lower layer.
It may be possible to use, in this case, a single type of panel, depending on the dimensions of the bottles.
In addition, a border intended to increase the rigidity of the panel may be provided around the latter.
