Die Zeichnungen zeigen in Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht einer Ausführungsform eines Stuhles gemäss vorliegender Erfindung; Fig. 2 eine perspektivische Ansicht des in Fig. 1 wiedergegebenen Stuhles in der Ansicht von schräg rückwärts; Fig.3 eine auseinandergezogene, perspektivische Darstellung zur Wiedergabe der Aufbauteile des in Fig. 2 wiedergegebenen Stuhles;
Seating furniture The invention relates to seating furniture, in particular chairs for cases where a comfortable seat must be available for a long time.
The seating furniture according to the invention is characterized by a holder, a foot and a Trä ger for the holder, which consists of at least two elements that are movable relative to each other, a network for receiving the seated person, which extends over the holder and on the outer parts of the elements is BEFE Stigt, and means for moving these elements relative to each other for tensioning the network. It is possible to use a removable mesh fabric to accommodate the sitter together with its excellent seating properties and facilities and to attach the network to the seating furniture by hand and stretch it without special tools.
The assembled net can be quickly and easily removed for washing or replacement.
The seating furniture according to the invention is particularly suitable as a desk chair and the like. The Ver use of the network described contributes significantly to the comfort of the user, since the discomfort caused by punctiform pressure contact on conventional chairs is reduced to a minimum.
The seating furniture can be designed in such a way that the mains voltage can be adjusted without using special tools in order to adapt the voltage to the user's wishes.
The seating furniture can be of extremely simple construction and at the same time very durable and pleasing in appearance.
Further details emerge from the following description of exemplary embodiments of the invention with reference to the drawings.
The drawings show in FIG. 1 a side view of an embodiment of a chair according to the present invention; FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the chair shown in FIG. 1, viewed obliquely from the rear; FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view showing the structural parts of the chair shown in FIG. 2;
FIG. 4 shows a cross section through the seat of the chair according to FIG. 2 before tension is applied to the seat net; and in FIG. 5 a cross section similar to FIG. 4 after the tension has been applied to the seat net.
In Fig. 1, an embodiment of a chair according to the present invention is shown generally with the reference numeral 1. It can be seen that this embodiment is particularly suitable for secretariats, reception offices and the like. The chair 1 has a foot 2, a backrest support 10, two holders 20 and 20a with networks 50 and 50a, which are spanned ge over the holder.
The foot 2 can be of conventional design. In the embodiment shown, the foot 2 has splay legs 3 and a footrest 4, as well as a telescopic support column 5 and a device 6 for height adjustment. The backrest support 10 is attached to the upper part of the column 5. The carrier 10 is generally L-shaped and has two legs 11 and 12. This Trä ger can for example consist of molded steel parts and serves as a spreader in the chair construction shown.
The leg 11 carries the seat holder 20, while the leg 12 receives the backrest holder 20a.
The holders 20 and 20a are of substantially similar construction and arrangement except for size, shape and the like. As a result, only one of these holders needs to be described in detail to whoever. The seat holder 20 has a pair of ge curved, wing-like, shell-shaped elements 21 and 22 according to FIG. The elements 21 and 22 can be made of plywood or plastic, for example.
The ele ments 21 and 22 have outwardly protruding Lip pen 23 and 24 and substantially flat Seitenwan applications 25 and 26 with holes 27 and 28, which are located near the top edges. At the bottom of the element, starting from the side wall 25, a bulge 29 is provided, the purpose of which will be explained in more detail later.
A pair of elongated elastic spring strips 31 and 32 with corresponding holes 33 and 34 consists of rubber or similar material, for example the plastic known under the trade name neoprene. They are mounted on opposite sides of the angle 11 of the carrier 10. For this purpose, fastening pins 35 reach into the bores 33 and 34. It can be seen that the flat sides 25 and 26 of the elements 21 and 22 can be placed against the strips 31 and 32, the pins 35 being inserted into the holes 27 and 28 and suitably secure the elements in place.
The elements 21 and 22 are mounted so that a pivoting movement of this element is possible, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5. The straps 31 and 32 not only prevent pivoting and tilting between the elements and the carrier, but they also act as compressible springs which enable the tension of the network to be adjusted to the end. A threaded ver provided hand screw 40 penetrates the Seitenwandun gene 25 and 26 of the elements 21 and 22, under the bands 31 and 32 and below the leg 11 of the carrier 10. At one end of the screw 40, a handle 41 is provided.
The screw 40 is seated in the arch 29 of the bottom of the element 21. When the screw 40 is rotated, the lower parts of the ele ments 21 and 22 are drawn towards each other, the pivoting movement being made possible by the pins 35. It can be seen that the movement of these elements, as indicated by arrows in Fig. 5, stretches the holder 20 so that the network 50 is tensioned, as will be explained in more detail in the fol lowing.
The nets 50 and 50a are similar in construction so that only one need be described. The net 50 is preferably made of a woven or knitted fabric made of nylon or Dacron threads and. minimizes the discomfort caused by pressure points and lack of ventilation. Such a net is particularly advantageous because it is tight and wear-resistant, requires low costs, can be easily cleaned, can be easily washed or sterilized and can be easily adapted to any movement situation.
The mesh can be made in any color and allows for substantial changes in density and appearance. Normally, the woven or knitted fabric should be so tight that the net gives the impression of a woven fabric without substantial transparency. In the embodiment shown, the network 50 includes a continuous cord 51 which is sewn into the edge of the network and engages under the lips 23 and 24 of the elements 21 and 22 of the seat holder 20. It should be pointed out that this network can also be fastened by means of screws or stiffening members sewn into the network and received in a groove on the underside of the lips 23 and 24.
The net 50 is mounted on the seat holder 20 as follows. The hand screw 40 is rotated in such a way that the elements 21 and 22 take the position according to FIG. The elastic bands 31 and 32 support this adjustment of these elements. The net 50 is then stretched over the holder 20 and the cord 51 inserted under the lips 23 and 24 of the elements 21 and 22. Until then, no excessive efforts are necessary because the network was relatively slack in this Montagezu. The handle 41 and thus the screw 40 are now turned and the base parts of the elements 21 and 22 are drawn together.
As a result, the elements are pulled in the direction indicated by arrows in FIG. 5, the holder 20 is stretched and the net 50 is tensioned. It can be seen that different voltages can be applied depending on how far the hand screw 40 is turned. In this way, the network 50 can be assembled with minimal effort and tensioned so that it can take up the weight of the person sitting on the chair. If the net is to be removed for cleaning or replacement, turning the hand screw 40 returns the elements 21 and 22 to the position according to FIG. 4, whereby the net 50 can be easily removed.
From Fig. 3 it can be seen that the net 50a is mounted on the backrest holder 20a in the same way. The invention thus discloses a chair in which nets are used to support the weight of the user and means are provided for applying a suitable tension to the nets in order to support the load lying thereon. The comfort brought about by such a mesh seat is achieved with a chair of relatively simple construction.
In addition, the nets can be easily changed or washed, and there is also the advantage of being adjusted to the degree of comfort desired by the individual.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described in detail above and shown in the illustrations, but there are numerous changes possible, please include without deviating from its basic idea.
