Fig. 1 eine Einrichtung in Seitenansicht,
Fig. 2 die Einrichtung in Ansicht, und
Fig. 3 eine schematische Klemmvorrichtung in Seitenansicht.

Device for turning and stacking sheets of corrugated cardboard
The invention relates to a device for turning and stacking sheets of corrugated cardboard.
In a system known per se for the production of corrugated cardboard, a continuously running corrugated cardboard web is cut into individual corrugated cardboard sheets with knives after the layers have been glued and dried. Then the corrugated cardboard sheets are conveyed on a conveyor belt against a stop and here to a position of z. B. jammed about twenty cardboard sheets.
In a known device, of the type mentioned above, z. B. after a predetermined time interval, the stop is raised, and the position is conveyed with a high-speed rubber roller on a transverse conveyor belt. The stop is then lowered again. I: The cardboard sheet layer is conveyed by the conveyor belt to a take-off table, from where each layer is picked up by two workers and placed on a pallet. Every second layer is turned around 1800 so that the glued cardboard sheets dry better and the stacked cardboard sheets cannot buckle.
The so mutually swept around 1800 layers are up to a height of z. B. stacked two meters on a pallet. The loaded pallet is then transported to the warehouse.
In this known device, at least two workers are required for turning and stacking the layers, who have to continuously perform considerable physical work.
The object on which the invention is based is to create a device in which the turning and stacking of the layers is mechanized and automated, so that the two workers are saved.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a clamping device for a layer consisting of horizontally stacked corrugated cardboard sheets, the clamping elements of which can be pivoted from a central position in one or the other direction of rotation through an angle of 900, for vertical positioning of one layer, one effective transverse to the pivot plane Transfer device for one erected layer in each case, and a tilting device serving to pick up several of the erected layers for tilting the stack consisting of several layers into a position in which the corrugated cardboard sheets are at least approximately horizontal.
By means of the clamping device, the layers can be reversed by 1800, i. H. be turned. Several, e.g. B. alternately turned layers can be deposited individually one after the other and next to one another on a tilting device by means of the transfer device, by means of which these layers are tilted and are thus stacked on top of each other.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Show it:
1 shows a device in side view,
Fig. 2 shows the device in view, and
3 shows a schematic clamping device in side view.
The device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has a clamping device 1, a transfer device 2 and a tilting device 3. The clamping device is shown schematically in detail in FIG. The latter has a column 4 and a slide 5 that can be raised and lowered along this column. The slide 5 is attached to cables 6, 12 which are fastened to the piston rod of a hydraulically actuated piston 7. Between the lines 9, 10 leading to the cylinder 8, there is an assembly 11 which receives a pump and a container for the pressure fluid. The unit 11 also contains a control device for the pressure fluid. The ropes 6, 12 lead over pulleys 13, 14.
The carriage 5 carries clamping members 15, 16 in the form of two spaced-apart plates, of which the plate 15 can be moved against the fixed plate 16 or away from it by means of a hydraulically actuated piston 17. The clamping members 15, 16 and the piston 17 with cylinder 18 can be rotated by means of a gear 19 in the direction of the double arrow 20 in both directions of rotation about a horizontal axis. A toothed segment 21 pivotably mounted on the slide 5 meshes with the toothed wheel 19. The toothed segment 21 can be pivoted by means of a hydraulically actuated piston 22. A unit 26 connecting the cylinder 23 with lines 24, 25 takes, like the unit 11, a pump, a container for the pressure fluid and the control elements.
In the central position of the toothed segment 21, the plates 15, 16 are horizontal (FIG. 3). When the segment 21 is pivoted in one or the other direction of rotation, the plates 15, 16 can be rotated in one or the other direction of rotation up to the vertical position.
The carriage 5 is to be understood as a unit that can be raised and lowered and accommodated the clamping elements 15, 16 and the segment 21 as well as the servomotors 22, 23 and 17, 18.
In Figs. 1 and 2, the plates 15, 16 are in an upper position and are vertical. In the position 15 ', 16' shown in phantom, these are lowered and lie horizontally.
The transfer device 2 has a horizontal cross member 27 attached to the column 4 and a carriage 28 that can be moved on the latter. The carriage 28 is attached to an endless tension member 29, which is guided over two pulleys 30, 31 (FIG. 2). The carriage 28 carries a downwardly opening gripping organ 32 which is designed like pliers. The means used to open and close the gripping member 32 are not shown. The carriage 28 with the gripping member 32 is in FIG. 2 above the gripping members 15, 16 of the clamping device and above the track on which the corrugated cardboard sheets are transported to the device. Next to this path is a table 33 on which a carriage 34 can be moved parallel to the transport path for the cardboard sheets (FIG. 2). In Fig. 1 the transport path of the cardboard sheets lies in the plane of the drawing sheet.
The carriage 34 is provided with rollers and is angled. One wall 37 of the carriage 34 is horizontal and the other wall 35 protrudes upwards. A pallet 36 is suspended from the wall 35 by means not shown. The wall 37 of the carriage 34 has sawtooth-like paragraphs, each such paragraph serving to receive a layer of cardboard leaves (Fig. 1).
The L-shaped tilting device 3 adjoins the table 33, the horizontal bottom 38 of which is at the level of the table surface. The other wall 39 of the tilting device 3 protrudes upwards. The tilting device can be pivoted about a horizontal axis 40 by means of a hydraulically operated piston, which piston can be displaced in a cylinder 41 (FIG. 1). The tilting device 3 can be pivoted into the position 3 'shown in phantom, so that the layers are stacked on top of one another on the pallet 35' (FIG. 1).
Next to the table 34 there is a table 42 of the same height (FIG. 2). The carriage 34 is displaceable from the table 42 to the table 34 in the direction of travel of the transfer carriage 28. A further carriage 34 with a further pallet 36 is in readiness position on the table 42 (FIG. 2).
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: According to the manner mentioned at the beginning, several cardboard sheets are jammed into a layer by means of a liftable and lowerable stop and these are then passed on. Such a position 43 reaches horizontally between the plates 15, 1.6 in their position 15 ', 16' (FIG. 1). The carriage 5 carrying the plates 15, 16 has previously been lowered into position 5 '(FIG. 2). The piston 17 acted upon by a pressure fluid clamps the layer 43 by means of the plates 15, 16. The pistons 7 and 22 in Fig. 3 are moved by means of a pressure fluid, so that the carriage 5 with the plates 15, 16 and the layer 43 is raised and at the same time the plates 15, 16 with the layer 43 in one direction of rotation up to their vertical position be pivoted (Figure 1).
The carriage 28 moves into the position according to FIG. 2 and the gripping member 32 clamps the vertical position 43 firmly. The gripping members 15, 16 are opened and the carriage 28 transports the layer 43 onto the carriage 34 which is on the table 33. The carriage 34 is moved by a layer thickness along the table 33 by means not shown.
The process described is repeated with one layer after the other. The plates 15, 16 are merely rotated alternately in one direction of rotation and with the next layer in the other direction of rotation, so that the layers standing on the stomach 34 alternately reverse one another
1800 swept. In this way, the cart 34 is loaded with layers. The further carriage 34 of the further pallet 36 is ready on the table 42 (FIG. 2).
If the carriage 34 standing on the table 33 is loaded. so the carriage 34 standing on the table 42 with the empty pallet is shifted onto the table 33 and is now loaded. The fully loaded carriage 34 drives onto the wall 38 of the tipping device 3.
The latter tilts the carriage 34 fully loaded with layers about the axis 40, so that the layers are stacked on the pallet in position 36 '(FIG. 1).
The unloading of the tipping device 3 can also be mechanized. An empty pallet, not shown, lies in the plane of the pallet in position 36 'and pushes it together with the layers from the carriage in position 34' and from the tilting device tilted into position 3 '. The carriage tipped into position 34 'is held immovably by means of a stop (not shown) with respect to the tipping device located in position 3'. The named empty pallet is now on the trolley tipped into position 3. The tilting device 3 with the carriage 34 and the empty pallet is displaced by means of a drive (not shown) in such a way that it connects to the table 42.
The tilting device is now tilted about the axis 40 into the position according to FIG. 1, so that an empty trolley 34 with an empty pallet is again in the ready position on the table 42. The tilting device 3 is then shifted again so that it connects to the table 33.
The device can also be designed so that, for. B. only every second, third or fourth position is turned over against the previous position.
