D eingreift.
Itahmenhohlprofil for doors, windows and glass walls The present invention relates to a hollow frame profile for doors, windows and glass walls, with a rectangular cross-section, with two mutually identical longitudinal grooves being arranged symmetrically to the two longitudinal center planes on two opposite sides.
In known hollow profiles of this type, the grooves are used to insert glass retaining strips and other fastening or stop elements.
The hollow profile according to the present invention is characterized in that the outer flanks of the four grooves are each formed by the inner wall of a hollow web, the outer wall of which is formed by the adjacent profile transverse wall. This makes it possible, please include, two or more profiles, which are offset from one another in the direction of both planes of symmetry, to mutually couple together without fastening parts by a hollow web of one profile is brought into engagement with a groove of the other profile. In this way, frames, transoms, bars, side parts, skylight windows and glass walls can be equipped with frame profiles that are the same among themselves.
In order to increase the possible uses of the profile, it is expedient for the groove flanks to merge with a bulge into the groove base, which is advantageously concavely curved outwards. If the grooves are dimensioned accordingly, it is possible to insert glass panes framed with rubber at the edge into the grooves. In the grooves, bars, handle bars, sliding leaves, fillings, stops made of metal, plastic, wood, Eternit and the like can be used.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in cross section in application to a wall combination.
The illustrated combination of six identical hollow profiles A, B, C, D, E, F relates to a wall crossing. The characteristics of interest here are explained in more detail below using profile A. The hollow profile has a rectangular cross section. Symmetrical to the two planes of symmetry 1-I and II-II, two mutually identical longitudinal grooves 1 are arranged on the two opposite longitudinal sides. The groove flanks 2 each have a recess 3 in the groove base 4, which is concave outward.
The width bi of the outer flanks of the four grooves forming the hollow webs 5 is smaller than the groove width b- Therefore, the profile A neighbors profiles B and D, which in the direction of both symmetry planes I - I and 1I - II corresponding to the profile A are offset, are coupled to one another without additional fastening parts, in that the hollow web 5 of the profile A engages in the adjacent groove 1 of the profile B or D. For this purpose, it is sufficient that the width b1 of the hollow webs 5 does not exceed the groove width b_.
The hollow profile C is coupled to the profiles B and D in the same way as the profile A, whereby the four profiles are cross-coupled to one another without fastening parts. The outer grooves are left free and can be used to anchor various components, as indicated in the drawing, for example. Here, a disk 6 is inserted into the one free groove of the profile C and fastened by means of elastically yielding holders 7 which engage in the indentations 3.
The outer flanks of the four grooves 1 are each formed by the inner wall of a hollow web 5, the outer wall of which is formed by the adjacent profile wall.
The hollow webs 5, each forming an inwardly open groove, have the advantage that they are suitable for holding connecting links at the joints of the frame. These connecting links then expediently have an asymmetrical T-shaped cross-section, with both flanges being inserted into one of two opposing hollow webs 5 and the web resting on the back 13 of the relevant groove 1 and fastened by latching or by means of rivets or screws, which are passed from the groove 1 through holes in the back 13. The T-profile of the composite links can also be composed of two angle profiles.
The profiles E and F are each hinged to the profile B and D by means of a door hinge 8, the bands 8 being provided with cams which are anchored in a groove of the profiles B, E and D, F respectively. The grooves in question can also serve to anchor resilient stops 9 of a profile B or D, which work together with analog stops that are inserted into the free groove of the opposite profile E or
F are used.
In the door frame profile E, a cylinder lock 11 is also installed, the cylinder 12 of which is inserted between the opposing backs 13 of the grooves 1, whereas the lock case is inserted into the inwardly open central grooves of the profile E.
