Roller rack system The invention relates to a roller rack system which has a plurality of closely spaced mobile Ge, which can be pushed back and forth by a controllable drive device so that an operating aisle is created between two selected racks.
In known systems of this type, a switchable electric motor is used for moving ben the frames, which moves a linkage angeordne below the frames in the direction of displacement. The frames can be individually connected to the rods by means of a manually operated coupling element. In other known execution forms, the linkage has been replaced by a revolving rope, to which in turn the individual frames can be coupled by means of suitable couplings.
This type of drive is completely satisfactory for relatively lei,: hten Lagerge. However, if racks are to be moved which are fully stacked and possibly weigh several tons, this conventional type of drive can no longer be used without considerable difficulties and disadvantages. For example, a very powerful motor would have to be selected that is able to move all fully stacked racks at once. In the extreme case of moving just a single empty frame, the motor would then be vastly oversized. The transmission means, rods or ropes would of course also have to be designed in accordance with the large masses to be moved.
Because of the cross-sectional elasticity present in ropes, very high requirements would also have to be placed on the coupling organs, which in practice could not be met without great effort. Obviously, when very heavy storage racks are to be moved with the known devices, a number of problems arise which can no longer be solved by technically simple and economical designs.
All these difficulties and disadvantages are circumvented according to the invention in that each rolling frame has a drive motor that can be switched in its direction of rotation, a switching element for switching on the drive motor, one in one end position of the frame and one in the other end position actuated limit switch, which limit switches determine the possible direction of rotation of the drive motor, with each switch-on element controlling the motors of the frames preceding in one or the other direction of travel according to the limit switch concerned.
An exemplary embodiment of the roller rack system according to the invention is shown in the drawing, in which FIG. 1 shows the system schematically and FIG. 2 shows a circuit diagram for controlling the drive motors.
The rolling rack system shown in Figure 1 consists for example of 4 mobile storage racks la, 1b, 1c u. 1d, which can be pushed back and forth between two stationary storage racks 1e and 1f in such a way that an operating aisle 2 is free between two rolling racks. The two fixed storage racks are practical, but not necessary and can of course be replaced by walls or omitted entirely.
A switchable electric motor 3, which drives the actual drive element 5 via a self-locking worm gear 4, is mounted on the floor of each mobile roller frame 1 a to 1 d. This drive organ 5 is in the simplest case a friction wheel resting on the floor under pressure. In the case of very heavy frames, it can also be designed as a toothed wheel that meshes with a rack embedded in the floor. A switchable switch-on element 6 is embedded in the side wall of each mobile roller frame and consists, for example, of a toggle switch that can be tilted in the horizontal plane so that the respective switch position indicates the desired direction of travel.
Instead of the toggle switch, other switching organs can of course, such. B. two push button switches can be used. This switch 6 is in the embodiment shown, for example, the only organ to be operated by the user for the desired displacement of the racks.
Each frame also has two limit switches ES1 and ES2. These limit switches can be operated by cams and are conveniently located on top of the racks.
The cams 7, 8 operating these limit switches ES1 and ES2 are, for example, attached to guide rails 9, each frame la ... 1d being assigned a pair of cams 7, 8 in such a way that, for example, the left limit switch ES1 is opened by the cam 7 when the shelf is in the left end position and the right limit switch ES2 is opened by the cam 8 when the shelf is in its right end position.
Both limit switches are closed in a frame position located between the two end positions. The purpose of this arrangement is evident when describing the circuit. The pairs of cams 7, 8 can be arranged next to one another, which then, however, requires a large number of adjacent guide rails and would therefore be practically disadvantageous. It is more expedient to assign all cams 7 and all cams 8 in two rows next to one another and the cams of each row according to the width of the service aisle in floors one above the other.
The arrangement of the cams in floors is necessary so that the respective limit switches are actually only operated in the desired end position of the shelf and not before. It is easy to see that for a service aisle one comes from a shelf width of two floors, for a service aisle of two shelf widths with three floors, etc. Of course, other arrangements of the cams are also possible, provided that they are designed according to the purpose described.
The limit switches ES1 and ES2 are, as shown schematically in FIG. 1, electrically connected to a control circuit 10 present in each frame.
Along the lower two longitudinal edges of each frame are foot buttons lla u in the form of long strips. 11b is arranged through which switch to turn off the power supply for the drive motor 3 can be operated, so that a person in the service aisle can put the roller rack system out of operation at any time if this is necessary for any reason.
The switching parts that occur only once in the circuit, i.e. that are not repeated in the control circuit of each frame, such as the main switch, fuse, transformer for generating a low voltage for the control circuit, etc. are combined in a separate switch box 12 and are usually housed in one of the fixed storage racks 1e or 1f. A multi-core cable 13 leads from this switch box 12 to the control circuit of the first rolling frame la and from here to the next, etc., so that all control circuits are connected to one another.
In Figure 2 is shown as an example of a circuit diagram for controlling the trolleys.
The left circuit part surrounded by dashed lines represents the switch box 12 and the other circuit parts separated from one another by dash-dotted lines each represent the control circuit built into the frame 1 a ... 1 d. The lines connecting the control circuits to one another are, as mentioned, combined to form a multi-core cable, which is indicated in FIG. 2 by the bracket marked 13.
All drive motors 3 are connected to phases R, S, T and 0 of the power network. The phase R and the neutral conductor 0 each lead directly to the motor 3 and the phases S and T each via the contact pairs 14d, 14e, 15d and 15e of the contactors 14 and 15, the contacts being switched so that the motor 3, for example, for the Clockwise rotation is connected to the RTS phases and for clockwise rotation to the RST phases, as will be described in detail later. The lines RST are connected to the power supply system via fuses 16 and are connected to this via the main switch 17. Between the one phase, e.g. B.
T and the neutral 0, the primary winding of a low voltage transformer Tr is connected, whose secondary winding outputs a voltage of, for example, 24 volts as a control voltage. One end of the secondary winding is connected to neutral 0, and three conductor circuits are connected to the other end. One connection leads via relay coil 18 to conductor 19. Between conductor 19 and the neutral conductor, all foot switches 11 are connected in parallel, so that when a foot switch 11 is actuated, current flows through the relay coil 18 and the relay picks up.
The second connection on the secondary winding leads via the switching contacts 21b and 18b to the conductor 22. The switching contact 21b is switched by the relay coil 21, which is connected to the neutral conductor 0 on the one hand and on the other hand to a phase T of the power network.
The third connection on the secondary winding of the transformer Tr leads via the switching contacts Z and 18a to conductor 24, and from here via the switching contact 20d and the winding of a contactor 20 to the neutral conductor 0. The winding 20 is also via the switching contact 21a the conductor 23 connected. The contactor 20 also operates the contacts 20a, 20b and 20c, which in the idle state disconnect the feed lines of the motors 3 from the power supply system.
The switching contact Z and the relay winding Z 'switching it, which in turn is connected to the neutral conductor 0 and to the one phase T of the power network, are a commercially available time switch. The switching contacts Z and 20d are open in the rest state, the contacts 18a, 18b, 21a and 21b against closed. The purpose of the individual switching parts and how this circuit works is described in detail at a later point.
The conductors 19, 22, 23 and 24 lead to the control scarf device of the first trolley la. The control circuits of the individual frames are identical, so that the description of a single one is sufficient to understand the entire control system. As already mentioned, each of the trolleys contains a switchable switching element. In the exemplary embodiment shown, this consists of a toggle switch 6 with the two switch positions 6L and 611. In each switch position, two pairs of contacts 6La and 6Lb or 6Ra and 6Rb are closed.
The designation L is intended to indicate a desired shift of a trolley to the left and the designation R to indicate such a shift to the right.
The contact pairs 6La and 6Ra of the toggle switch 6 connect in the switched-on state each of the conductors 22 and 23 with each other, so that a closed circuit is created, which from the output of the secondary coil of the transformer Tr via switches 21b, 18b, conductor 22 6La and 6Ra , Conductor 23, switch 2la and winding 20 leads to neutral 0.
In the closed state, the pair of contacts 6Lb connects the conductor 22 via a relay winding 14, a switching contact 15c and the aforementioned limit switch ES2 to the neutral conductor 0.
The relay 14 has the switching contacts 14a, 14b, 14c, 14d and 14e. The pair of contacts 14a is connected on the one hand to the conductor 24 and on the other hand to the relay coil 14 and thus to the switching contact 6Lb. The switch contact 14b connects the relay winding 14 via the conductor 25 with the relay coil 14 in the control circuit of the preceding storage rack, this line 25 is therefore missing in the control circuit of the first, left roller rack and can be seen from the right part of FIG.
The contact pairs 14d and 14e are switched on in the feed lines for the drive motor and serve, as will be explained later, the switching in the order of phases and thus switching the direction of rotation of the motor.
In the closed state, the pair of contacts 6Rb connects the conductor 22 via a relay winding 15, the switch 14e actuated by the relay 14 and the limit switch ESI to the neutral conductor 0. The relay 15 has the contact pairs 15a, 15b, 15c similar to the relay 14 , 15d and 15e. Switch 15a connects conductor 24 to the input of relay coil 15, switch 15b connects relay coil 15 via conductor 26 to relay coil 15 of the respective subsequent control circuit, conductor 26 is therefore missing in the last trolley on the right.
The switches 15d and 15e are in turn switched on in the feed lines for the drive motor 3 and are used to switch the direction of rotation of the motor.
The functioning of this circuit diagram will now be explained in more detail using the most important examples for the displacement of individual racks. It is assumed that the frame position shown in FIG. H. the first, left roller frame la is in its left end position, adjoining it is the open service aisle and all other roller frames 1b, lc are lined up closely in their right end positions.
The trolley la is to be moved to the right, so that an operating aisle between this and the fixed left frame 1e is created.
By switching on the main switch 17, the primary winding of the transformer Tr is connected to voltage between the neutral conductor 0 and phase T of the power network. Since switches 21b and 18b are closed, conductor 22 is connected to voltage on the secondary side. Because the frame 1..a is to move to the right, the toggle switch 6 is turned to the right, whereby the switches 6Ra and 6Rb are closed and thus the line 22 is connected to the line 23 first.
The circuit containing the relay winding 20 (secondary winding of the transformer Tr, switch 21b, 18, conductor 22, switch 6Ra, conductor 23, switch 21, coil 20 and neutral 0) is closed and relay 20 picks up, d. H. switches 20a, 20b, 20c and 20d are closed.
The R phase of the network is connected directly to the drive motor 3 by means of switch 20a, switch 20b connects the S phase to the supply line for the motor and switch 20c connects the T phase. With the switch 20c closed, the windings of the relay 21 and the timer Z 'receive voltage at the same time. Both relays pull in, whereby switch Z is closed and the two switches 21a and 21b opened to whoever.
Switch 21a separates conductor 23 from the winding 20, switch 21b separates the conductor 22 from the secondary winding of the transformer Tr and the closed switch Z represents a holding contact for the relay 20, which therefore remains attracted until the timer Z 'after a falls a predetermined time. Because of the closed switch Z and 18a, the conductor 24 is now connected to the secondary voltage of the transformer Tr. The relays 21 and Z 'are designed so that a short but measurable time elapses between the closing of the switch 6Ra and the actuation of the switches 21a, 21b and Z.
Since the frame la is in its left end position, the limit switch ESI is closed and the limit switch ES2 is open, as already mentioned at the beginning. Furthermore, the switch 14c is also closed in the rest position. Since the contacts 6Ra and 6Rb are closed at the same time when the switch 6R is actuated, the relay winding 15 is connected to the conductor 22 when the contact pair 6Rb closes and the control current flows through it for a short time until the switch 21b interrupts the control current again.
Relay 15 picks up for this short time and closes its switching contacts 15a, 15b, 15d and 15e and opens contact 15c. The relay winding is connected to the conductor 24 through the closed contact 15a; this contact 15a therefore represents one for this relay. Keep contact, since the conductor 24 is under tension after opening the switch 21b and closing the switch Z. The closed switch 15b closes the conductor 26 to the conductor 24 via the switch 15a, so that the conductor 26 is connected to the control voltage.
The conductor 26 leads to the relay winding 15 in the control circuit of the trolley 1b. Since this trolley lb is, however, in its right end position, and thus, as stated at the beginning, its limit switch ES1 is open and its limit switch ES2 is closed, the relay 15 of this trolley lb remains, and accordingly the relays of the subsequent trolleys 1e also remain. 1d ... de-energized, d. H. these trolleys 1b ,. .. do not participate in a postponement.
When the relay 15 is energized, the switches 15d and 15e are also closed, as I said. The closed switch 15e connects phase S and switch 15d phase T with the drive motor 3, so that this, as can be seen from Figure 2, is connected to the phases in the order RST, which - as was assumed at the beginning - a rotation of the Motor 3 corresponds to the right. Frame 1 a is therefore moved to the right.
After a short shift, the limit switch ES2 leaves its control cam and closes. This closing of the limit switch ES2 remains ineffective, however, since the switch 15c is open because of the attracted relay 15, so that the relay 14 remains de-energized as before. The frame la therefore moves further to the right until it hits the other frames 1b. . . runs up. In this end position, its limit switch ESI is opened by the cam 7 assigned to it, as a result of which relay 15 drops out and thus the motor M3 is switched off.
After a predetermined time, which is dimensioned in such a way that it is just sufficient for a shift of the frames from one end position to the other, the relay Z 'also drops out, whereby the circuit is returned to its starting position, so that the limit switch ESI is not in stored the range of action of his assigned cam 7, the motor is switched off after the predetermined time by the time switch Z ', so that damage is avoided. When the relay Z 'drops out, the switch Z opens and the relay 20 is separated from the secondary winding of the transformer Tr.
Relay 20 drops out and switches 20a to 20d open, whereby the supply lines for the motor are interrupted and all switches take their rest position again.
If the system is switched on when a person is in the operating aisle, they only need to hit the switching strip of one of the frames that limit the operating aisle, whereby one of the foot switches 11 is closed. The foot switch 11 applies the control voltage to the relay 18, which attracts it and opens the switch 18a and 18b. The open switches 18a and 18b interrupt the power supply to relay 20 in each case, whereby the power supply of the system is switched off.
If the foot switch 11 is pressed when z. B. the frame la is in an intermediate position, the two limit switches ES1 and ES2 are closed. The Actuate supply of any switching element 6 will then apply voltage to one of the two relays 14 or 15 and turn on the motor 3 of this frame in the desired direction, causing the frame to move to the left or right, depending on the position of the switching element until it reaches its end position Has.
In a second example, the two racks 1b and 1c are to be shifted to the left so that an operating aisle opens between racks 1c and 1d.
Depending on the position of the racks, the limit switches ES1 of the racks 1b, 1c, 1d are open and their limit switches ES2 are closed.
The limit switch ES1 of frame la is closed, its limit switch ES2 open. Turning the toggle switch 6 on the frame 1c into its left position 6L closes the two contacts 6La and 6Lb. The closed contact 6Lb causes the relay 14 in the frame 1c to be attracted, whereby its switches 14a, 14b, 14d, 14e close and its contact 14c opens. Switch 14a is in turn holding contact for relay 14.
The closed switches 14a and 14b connect the relay 14 of the preceding frame 1b to the live conductor 24 via line 25, so that this also picks up and the switches 14a, 14b, 14d and 14e of the frame 1b close. From the left contact 14b of the frame 1b, the line 25 leads to the relay 14 of the frame la, but this line remains de-energized because its limit switch ES2 is open because of the roller frame la located in its left end position.
In this way, only the two motors of the racks 1b and 1c are connected in parallel to the supply network, and because of the closed switches 4d and 4e in the order RTS, which is supposed to correspond to a counterclockwise rotation of the motors. The two frames 1b and 1c therefore move to the left. All other processes remain the same as described in detail in the first example.
In this illustrated and described exemplary embodiment, the circuit for controlling the drive of the motors is essentially through electromagnetically actuated switches, relays or contactors, leads out. Different modifications are of course possible. So z. B. the circuit can be constructed from static switching elements, other switches, light barriers, etc. can also be used to determine the position of the racks, if desired, the system could also be designed with DC motors, ETC.
A particular advantage of the trolley system according to the invention is that each mobile frame represents a self-contained unit. An existing system can thus be enlarged or reduced by further units at any time.
For this purpose, it is expedient to assemble the guide rails and design the cams so that they can be pushed forward. Whether the same each trolley system could consist of any number of racks, it is advantageous to arrange only a small number of mobile racks between two fixed racks, z. B. 5 or 6 and a large system from several such smaller sub-systems.
