Lock with bolt and espagnolette lock The subject of the present invention is a lock with bolt and espagnolette lock for right and left use in doors and windows, comprising a bolt plate that can be moved in the lock case by turning a nut with a key bit,
which is mechanically coupled to the rotatable espagnolette rod via a cam hub and a cover plate for the lock case, characterized in that it contains a locking plate that falls in the lock case under gravity onto the lower lock case wall,
the top and bottom each have a stop tab to interact with locking cams on the nut, with only the upper stop tab comes into effect, while rend the lower is except for the rotation of the locking cam assigned to him.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a partially sectioned plan view of the open lock case with inserted locking plate and inserted actuating nut, FIG. 2 shows a plan view corresponding to FIG. 1 with additionally inserted locking plate,
3 shows a plan view corresponding to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the lock case closed with the cover, FIG. 4 shows a horizontal cross section through the complete lock along the line IV-IV of FIG.
5 shows a side view of the espagnolette bar with the cam hub pushed on for rotation when the lock is operated, FIG. 6 shows a vertical section along the broken line VI-VI from FIG. 1, FIG. 7 shows a vertical section along the line VII-VII from FIG. 3 .
The approximately square, open on one side lock box 1 contains a through hole 11 for a Espagnolette rod 2 of known training in its upper and lower wall. The bottom plate of the lock case 1 contains two through-holes 120 for fastening screws 220 near the upper and lower walls (see FIG. 6). These screw through holes are arranged so
that the two fastening screws 220 pass through the case 1 just next to the espagnolette bar 2 inserted in the lock case and are thus arranged where the reaction force of the espagnolette bar lock is most effective.
The cabinet door in which the lock is to be used therefore only has to contain a relatively narrow natural wood frame that gives the fastening screws the necessary support.
Furthermore, the base plate of the lock case 1 contains a bore for inserting the lock actuating nut 3, which has a square bore 30 for inserting a square pin.
On the inside of the base plate of the lock case is the locking plate 4, which is provided with a bolt 40 which exits and is guided in a known width through a slot in the corresponding side wall of the lock case 1.
This locking slot does not form the only guide for the locking plate 4, but it also has two from the upper or
lower edge protruding Füh approximately cams 41 that slide along the walls of the adjacent box. In addition, the entry slot to the recess 42 in the locking plate surrounds the actuating nut 3 on its right edge as an additional guide. This recess 42 is symmetrical to the horizontal center plane (plane of the drawing in FIG. 4) of the locking plate.
It takes on the key bit 32 attached to the nut 3, so that the locking plate 4 is off when the nut 3 is turned 90. the position shown in the drawings is moved clockwise in a known manner to open the shutter in the direction of arrow P to the right.
According to FIG. 1, this closure opening could also be acted upon by rotating the nut 3 counterclockwise. To prevent this, a locking plate 5 is inserted into the lock case 1 above the locking plate. It contains a window 50 for inserting the socket 3 and feet 51 for supporting its right edge on the base plate of the lock case 1.
The height of this locking plate 5 is less than the clear height of the lock case, so that it always slides down until it hits the lower horizontal wall of the lock case in the lock case, the window 50 with the nut 3 together causing the locking plate to be vertically guided.
At the upper and lower edge of the window 50, the locking plate 5 has stop tabs 53 which can interact with two locking cams 33 on the follower 3.
In the position of the organs according to FIG. 2, the upper locking cam 33 of the nut 3 rests against the upper stop 53 of the locking plate 5 and thus prevents further rotation of the nut in the counterclockwise direction. When the nut is rotated clockwise to open the lock, the lower one occurs Locking cam 33 of the nut unge prevents over the lower stop tab 53 of the locking plate 5 by,
because the locking plate rests on the lower lock case wall with security: If the lock shown is attached to a cabinet door in a position rotated by 180 ver, in which the bolt 40 would be directed to the right in relation to the drawing, the locking plate 3 slides to the opposite lock case wall, which is then below.
Then, to open the lock, the nut 3 must be turned counterclockwise with the key.
It is easy to see that the lock actuation mechanism described has no locking spring and does not require any for proper functioning, because in the position of the organs according to FIG. 2, the locking plate 4, the nut 3 and the locking plate 5 with appropriately sized parts , d. H.
with full application of the key bit 32 on the recess 42 of the locking plate, fixed or ge inhibited.
For mechanical coupling of the locking plate 4 with the Espagnoletter rod 2, which in a known manner. contains a longitudinal groove 20,
a hub bushing 6 with an inner protrusion engaging in the rod groove is used. This hub bushing is on its circumference - provided with a Z-profile cam 63,
which interacts with a correspondingly Z-shaped window 43 of the locking plate 4. The two heads (there can also be several) of the Z-profile cam 63 of the cam hub 6, which are connected to one another by a circumferential rib 630,
With a small overall diameter of the cams close to 6 and thus a small thickness of the lock case, they ensure permanent effective engagement with the locking plate and are significantly better protected against breaking off when a great deal of force is applied than individual cams.
The cover plate 7 is designed as a one-piece stamped and embossed sheet metal plate. It contains a through hole for the nut 3; Through holes 72 for the fastening screws 120 and an upwardly embossed bulge 70 with a window 71 for the hub bush 6.
On the vertical side edges small standing tabs 73 are formed for insertion into notches 13 of the side lock case walls. The material of the lock case walls that is pressed out during the manufacture of these notches 13 forms layers 130 for the cover plate 7.
On the upper and lower edges, the cover plate 7 has flaps 74 bent upwards, with the aid of which it can be locked in the lock case. In this way, there is also a significant simplification of the cover design and attachment.
