Gas burner The present invention relates to a gas burner.
In the case of gas burners, the body is usually used to split the gas into several jets in the gas outlet opening. The difficulty now is to design the entire burner in such a way that no undesirable disturbances, i.e. H. Heat tensions can occur.
In known elongated burners such Kör are rigidly connected to the rest of the burner. The thermal expansions that occur during operation as a result of heating then often result in partially permanent deformations that have a not insignificant effect on the normal combustion process. H. Worsen the combustion of the gas mixture.
The aim of the invention is to create a burner which avoids these disadvantages and is nevertheless simple in construction.
According to the invention, the gas burner has a distributor body that can be connected to a gas line, in its upper longitudinal slot serving the gas outlet a guide device is provided for aligning and dividing the gas into thin parallel jets, the guide device being coupled to the distributor body in such a way that when it is heated no thermal stresses arise in the burner.
Two exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. It shows: FIG. 1 a gas burner from the side, partially in section, with a two-part guide device; Fig. 2. The gas burner according to Fi, g. 1 from above; 3 shows a further burner, also seen from above, with a one-piece guide device.
The gas burner shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of the actual distributor body 1 and the guide device, which is fitted in its upper longitudinal slot 2 serving for the gas outlet and consists of two parts 3 and 4. The distributor body 1 can be connected with its lower end 5 to a gas line (not shown). Each part 3, 4 of the guide device has vertical channels 6 on its longitudinal sides, which are used to divide and align the gas into parallel jets separated from one another.
Each part 3, 4 of the guide device has at one end a horizontal transverse groove 7 or 8, which is used to support a projection or a tongue 9 or 10 of the distributor body 1. In the middle section of the burner, the two parts 3, 4 of the guide device are fastened to the distributor body 1 by means of rivets 11, 12.
Between the bottom of the grooves 7, 8 and the tongues 9, 10 of the distributor body, such an intermediate space is left that any occurring longitudinal expansion of the guide device parts 3, 4 due to heating trouble-free, i. H. without a stop on the tongues 9, 10 he can follow.
A corresponding gap is also located between the ends 13, 14 of the parts 4 and 3 and the edges 15, 16 of the distributor body 1.
This is mainly necessary because the Ver divider body 1 is cooled by the gas on the one hand and the secondary air circulating to the side of the burner on the other hand, and therefore hardly expands while the guide device is heated by the overlying Gasflam men, and therefore mainly in the longitudinal direction expands.
In the burner shown in Fig. 3, the problem posed was solved in a different way. The guide device 18 with the channels 19, which is arranged in the upper longitudinal slot of the distributor body 17, consists of only one piece here. Each of the webs 20 separating the channels 19 from one another is soldered to: the side surfaces 21, 22 of the distributor body 17. The solder was applied in the form of thin lamellae 23 stretching over the entire length of the burner.
The particularly good thermal conductivity of the solder now means that a significant part of the heat generated in the guide device 18 during operation is transferred via the webs 20 and the solder lamellae 23 into the side surfaces 21, 22 of the distributor body 17. As a result, the temperature of the guide device 18 will keep within limits, and the latter will hardly expand any more. If an expansion should take place after all, it is compensated for by a corresponding expansion of the side surfaces 21, 22 of the distributor body, which are also heated, ie. H. there are no deformations in the burner caused by thermal stresses.
This second embodiment of the burner also has the advantage over the first that no undesired gaps can form between the side surfaces of the distributor body and the guide devices, since these two parts are connected to one another over their entire length.
