Angular magnifying glass The invention relates to an angular magnifying glass which is used for viewing flat object surfaces, e.g. B. the screen of an image converter tube used who can, the beam path between the object plane and the lenses of the magnifying glass z. B. is bent by a reflective surface by 90 or a similar angle. The present invention solves the problem of creating such a magnifying glass with at least 12 times, in particular 15 times, magnification.
Its focal length is expediently at least approximately 1.7 times the distance between the last lens surface and the eye and approximately as large as the diameter of the sharply reproduced object field, so that the angle of view is approximately 50. The space between the object plane and the refracting members, i.e. the object focal length of the eyepiece, is filled with glass or a corresponding medium, expediently in the form of a reflecting right-angled isosceles prism.
Such a magnifying glass with a longer focal length, that is to say with a smaller magnification, is known in which, in addition to the prism bending the beam path, 5 individual lenses are provided. This means that the risk of reflections and loss of light cannot be dismissed out of hand. In contrast, the present invention represents an advantageous further development insofar as two putty surfaces are contained in four of the collecting members that represent the image. The preferred embodiment has only three lens elements standing in the air and a fourth lens element which connects by cement to the prism bending the beam path.
A particularly good image performance, in particular the correction of the chromatic and spherical errors, can be achieved in that the lens element connected to the prism has a further cemented surface, that is to say contains two lenses; the same applies to the meniscus-shaped curved member adjacent to the eye.
The image performance can be further increased by the fact that none of the optical elements has a refractive index below 1.69, apart from the carrier glass for the luminescent screen, which is fused into the image converter, which represents the object surface. The refractive index differences on the cemented surfaces are expediently measured at at least 0.05, preferably 0.7 in the eye-side, with at least 0.10, preferably 0.15 in the cemented element on the object-side.
As an exemplary embodiment, the drawing shows in section a 15-fold magnifying angle magnifier, the data of which are as follows:
