Connection pipe section for radiators The present invention relates to a connection pipe section between a radiator and its inlet and outlet lines for hot water. The purpose of the invention is to regulate the supply of dull hot water to the radiator or radiator in a simple manner.
According to the invention, the connecting pipe section consists of an approximately U-shaped curved pipe section (which is connected to the inlet or outlet pipe on its lower leg, and on its upper, curved middle part in .A pipe socket leading to the radiator and containing two separate inlet and outlet channels passes.
An embodiment of the invention is to be described in more detail, for example, with the aid of the best-drawn drawing.
1 shows a vertical longitudinal section through the connecting pipe piece, FIG. 2 shows a section along line 1-I in FIG. 1 with a regulating valve body in its open position, FIG. 3 a longitudinal section through the regulating valve body in it closed location,
4 shows the section according to FIG. 2 with the regulating valve body in the meantime, closed position and FIG. 5 the same section with the regulating valve body in an intermediate or branch position.
The hot water flows through an inlet line (see upward arrow: in FIG. 1) into an approximately U-shaped connecting pipe piece 1 and is introduced through the lower opening 2 of an inlet channel 9 provided in a connecting pipe socket 6.
The pipe socket 6 is ran; a pipe socket of the radiator or radiator 5 is screwed tight, so that the warm water flows out of the inlet duct 9 into the radiator and gives off its heat there.
The cooled water flows through an outlet channel 10 separated from the inlet channel 9 by a partition wall or bell 8 in the pipe socket 6 and its lower mouth 3 back into the connecting pipe section 1.
The fact that the inner wall 4 of the cavity 12 of the connecting pipe piece in cross section, for example, is curved approximately semi-circularly and the mouth 2 lies in the direction of flow of the hot water in front of the mouth 3,
the inward flow of the hot water into the burst mouth 2 is conveyed by the centrifugal force. Since a part of this water flows into the mouth 2, the centrifugal force acting against the mouth 3 becomes less, and this promotes the circulation of the water in the radiator.
Between the two mouths 2. And 2 can. a transverse adjusting screw 7 can be provided, which depending on its more or less screwed-in position, the one flowing into the mouth 2. Water volume still regulates. However, this screw is not necessary. The partition 8 prevents the water from flowing directly from the inlet channel to the outlet channel 10.
A manual control of the heat output of the radiator can be carried out by a rotatable valve body 11 which passes through the channels 9 and 10. In the open position according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the flow through the channels 9 and 10 is not influenced by the valve body 11.
In the intermediate or branch position according to FIG. 5, part of the relatively cold water flowing back is introduced from the channel 10 into the channel 9 in order to regulate the temperature of the water flowing into the radiator.
Fig. 4 shows the blocking position of the valve 11,. In which the circulation of water is blocked by the radiator.

The connecting pipe section enables a new circulation system on one or two pipe systems, because the centrifugal force in a curved connecting pipe section is used for the circulation.
With this invention, a 4m beam can be avoided and multiple connections are possible for the radiator.
