Fluid Pump or Motor This invention relates to fluid pumps and motors having a rotor housed in a housing having bores angularly spaced about its axis of rotation with a swash plate which, with reference to:
The axis of rotation is arranged obliquely at one end of the rotor, a number of plungers that move back and forth in the respective bore when the rotor rotates due to their interaction with the swash plate and a valve plate in contact with the opposite end of the rotor, in which openings. are trained
through which the bores are successively connected to an inlet or outlet in the housing when the rotor rotates.
The present invention aims to provide such a pump or such a motor with suitable means for producing a seal between. the valve plate and the housing. to create.
In the case of the pump according to the invention or the motor of the type mentioned, the surface of the valve plate adjacent to the housing has recesses which each extend directly around each opening formed in the plate in order to form a shoulder in each opening which is perpendicular to the axis of the Plate-facing plane runs,
a sealing ring made of flexible material rests against each shoulder, while an endless seal of L-shaped cross-section made of plastic is arranged within the said recess and the one flange lies between:
the Dichtu @ ngsfing, and the housing it stretches, and the other flange: rests against the side of the sealing ring facing away from the recess wall.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
It shows: Fig. 1 a partial axial section through a pump according to the invention, Fig. 2: an end view of the valve plate looking towards the rotor and F1 ,. .3 on a larger scale: a partial section to Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawing, the fluid pump according to the invention has a hollow Ge housing 1, in which open shaft 2 is mounted, which carries an approximately cylindrical rotor 3.
A plurality of bores 4, which are arranged at the same angular distance from one another and extend parallel to the rotor axis, are provided in this rotor. At one end of the rotor, an angle-adjustable swash plate 5 is also arranged.
India, bores 4, a plurality of hollow plungers 6 are provided with support shoes 7 which work together with the swash plate 5 in order to impart axial movements to the plungers in one direction when the rotor is rotating.
The shoes 7 are held in contact with the wobble plate by springs 8 partially accommodated within the plunger.
An inlet 9 and an outlet 10 are formed at the housing end opposite the swash plate 5, while an annular valve plate 11 is located between the end of the housing and the adjacent end of the rotor. In this valve plate are two openings 12, 13 connected to the inlet 9 and the inlet 10:
formed, which each have a kraisbogen-like shape in which an arc of curvature is drawn from the center of the plate.
The openings 1.2, 13 are arranged in such a way that when the rotor rotates, the ends of the bores 4 in the rotor in turn are connected to the inlet and outlet. The surface of the plate 11 facing the housing is recessed tightly around each opening so that
that a matching recess is created in each opening, which ends in a shoulder 14 which extends in a plane running at right angles to the axis of the plate.
In each opening, against the shoulder 14, there is a sealing ring 15 with a circular cross-section made up of a pair of these: rings made of rubber or other flexible material:
with each sealing ring 15 unfixed in the corner between the shoulder and the wall or opening. Against the inside of the sealing ring 15 lies one flange of an endless seal 16 with an L-shaped cross section,
made of nylon or other plastic. The other flange or seal 16 extends over the sealing ring 15 adjacent the housing, being pressed into contact with the housing by the elasticity of the sealing ring.
