Appareil pour l'art dentaire
La présente invention a pour objet un appareil pour l'art dentaire.
Cet appareil est caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un socle horizontal sur lequel est monté, de façon mobile, un corps vertical dont la face supérieure est occupée par une table mobile, se déplaçant dans une direction différente de celle des déplacements dudit corps sur le socle, cette table étant susceptible de se placer en porte à faux par rapport audit corps vertical.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.

L'appareil représenté, qui se place de préférence à la gauche d'un fauteuil de dentiste 1, comprend un socle 2 sur lequel est monté, de façon coulissante, un corps vertical parallélépipédique 3 de section générale en forme de parallélogramme.
La face supérieure de ce corps 3 est occupée par une table 4 se déplaçant, dans son propre plan, suivant une direction oblique par rapport à la direction des déplacements du corps 3 sur le socle 2. Ces deux directions ont été désignées respectivement par 5 et 6 à la fig. 3.
La table 4 peut occuper une position de repos dans laquelle elle est située dans le prolongement du corps 3, qu'elle recouvre entièrement, et plusieurs positions de travail dans lesquelles elle est en porte à faux par rapport à ces corps. Cette table porte divers appareils et instruments pour l'art dentaire tels qu'un tour 7, une turbine 8, dont seule la pièce à main a été représentée, et une douche de rinçage 9.
Les câbles ou tuyaux aboutissant aux pièces à main sont logés dans l'épaisseur de la table 4 et passent sur un jeu de poulies, munies de tendeurs, permettant leur extension.
Le corps 3 enferme la majorité des organes de l'appareil et porte, entre autres, un crachoir 10 dont la position en hauteur est variable.
Les déplacements du corps 3 par rapport au socle 2 et ceux de la table 4 par rapport au corps 3 sont produits par des moteurs électriques ou par des dispositifs hydrauliques ou pneumatiques. La table 4 porte, sur une de ses faces latérales, un tableau de commande 1 1 (fig. 1) permettant de commander les différentes fonctions de l'appareil. Le corps 3 porte également un tableau de commande, désigné par 12, qui sera utilisé par l'assistant du dentiste. L'appareil pourra en outre comporter un tableau de commande à distance.
Cet appareil présente l'avantage, par rapport aux appareils connus, dont tous les instruments sont placés sur une colonne fixe, de permettre au dentiste d'avoir ceux-ci constamment sous la main. En effet, quelle que soit la position qu'il occupe par rapport au fauteuil 1, le dentiste peut toujours reconstituer, en déplaçant le corps 3 sur le socle 2 et la table 4 sur le corps 3, le triangle optimum entre lui-même, la tête du patient, et la table portant ses instruments.
On pourrait néanmoins monter sur la table 4, par exemple en 13 (fig. 1), une tablette articulée, telle la tablette 14 représentée en traits mixtes à la fig. 3, servant, par exemple, à recevoir des plateaux d'outils que le dentiste pose sur la table 4 après emploi.

This apparatus is characterized by the fact that it comprises a horizontal base on which is mounted, in a movable manner, a vertical body whose upper face is occupied by a mobile table, moving in a direction different from that of the movements of said body on the base, this table being capable of being placed cantilevered with respect to said vertical body.

The apparatus shown, which is preferably placed to the left of a dentist's chair 1, comprises a base 2 on which is mounted, in a sliding manner, a vertical parallelepipedic body 3 of general section in the form of a parallelogram.
The upper face of this body 3 is occupied by a table 4 moving, in its own plane, in an oblique direction with respect to the direction of movement of the body 3 on the base 2. These two directions have been designated respectively by 5 and 6 in fig. 3.
The table 4 can occupy a rest position in which it is located in the extension of the body 3, which it completely covers, and several working positions in which it is cantilevered with respect to these bodies. This table carries various appliances and instruments for dentistry such as a lathe 7, a turbine 8, of which only the handpiece has been shown, and a rinsing shower 9.
The cables or pipes leading to the handpieces are housed in the thickness of the table 4 and pass over a set of pulleys, fitted with tensioners, allowing their extension.
The body 3 encloses the majority of the components of the apparatus and carries, among other things, a spittoon 10 whose height position is variable.
The movements of the body 3 relative to the base 2 and those of the table 4 relative to the body 3 are produced by electric motors or by hydraulic or pneumatic devices. The table 4 carries, on one of its side faces, a control panel 1 1 (Fig. 1) for controlling the various functions of the device. The body 3 also carries a control panel, designated by 12, which will be used by the dentist's assistant. The device may also include a remote control panel.
This device has the advantage, compared to known devices, all of the instruments of which are placed on a fixed column, of enabling the dentist to have them constantly on hand. Indeed, whatever the position he occupies with respect to the chair 1, the dentist can always reconstitute, by moving the body 3 on the base 2 and the table 4 on the body 3, the optimum triangle between himself, the patient's head, and the table with his instruments.
One could nevertheless mount on the table 4, for example at 13 (FIG. 1), an articulated shelf, such as the shelf 14 shown in phantom in FIG. 3, serving, for example, to receive tool trays that the dentist places on the table 4 after use.
