So müsste z.
Die in Fig. 1 :schematisch gezeigte Schaltvor richtung soll ermöglichen, eine Kochplatte zunächst so lange .stark zu heizen, bis ein zu kochendes Gut ungefähr lauf Kochtemperatur erhitzt ist;
Der Schalter 2 weist ein aus drei, Zueinander parallelen. Kontaktfedern 25, 26 und 27 bestehendes Kontakdederpia,ket,auf, welche -Kontiäktfeadern-an- den Klemmen 20, 21 und 22 fest - eingespannt und =mit Kontakten 28, 29 und -30 versehen -sind. ;
Die mittlere Kontaktfader Irrat einen =über ihren. Kontrakt 30 hin- ausgehenden Teil 27',
B. 1-3 Litern Suppe oder dergleichen. Dias Zahnmagd 37 ist zwischen einen ,auf der Achse 38 fegst sitzenden Ring 40 und einem Federteller 41 einge klemmt, so dass .eine Rutschkupplung 40, 41 ;
Switching device for hotplates For putting hotplates into operation, various switching devices are known with which an automatic. Cooking is sought, d. H. ; that an initial switch from a relatively high auxiliary cooking output to a lower continued cooking output should take place automatically at the right time.
Known switching devices have. The disadvantage is that rapid parboiling and then slight further boiling can only be achieved with a certain amount of the food.
Other switching devices, idir, with temperature sensors, which sense the temperature (of the hotplate, are - as experience shows - from the hotplate temperature, which in turn depends on the operating time, the type and quality of the pan base, size .and material in the pan,
The temperature of the food to be cooked, etc., is dependent, often incorrectly influenced. So z. B., for a certain parboiling performance with igutam aluminum cookware, a relatively short boiling time can be selected, Ida the heat contact plate,
Crockery is good, whereas a relatively long boiling time is required if the steel floor is uneven; Since in the first case the hotplate will be less when, the temperature sensor will switch off the parboiling power later:
than in the second case, in idem i, the hotplate quickly becomes very hot. Other switching devices that do not work with time switches have the disadvantage that the during) the cooking time)
The electrical energy supplied to the hotplate depends on fluctuations in the mains voltage.
The aim of the present invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to be able to take into account the quantity of the items to be cooked and the type of cookware without a temperature sensor with a relatively small expenditure of space and material.
The invention accordingly relates to a switching device for hotplates which allows an automatic changeover from an initial cooking output to continued cooking.
The switching device according to the invention is characterized by the fact that: sirre has two switches that are combined to form a constructive blue unit, each individually adjustable switch, the first of which allows the setting of a bouleable continued cooking power, while the, second allowed:
one of the amount of food to be cooked and the type of cooking utensils to be set according to the delay time to be selected after which the continued cooking power is to take effect, this delay time automatically decreasing or increasing as the mains voltage increases or decreases.
In the drawing, an embodiment is shown schematically in the Erfigdungsgeigenstan @. .It shows:
1 shows a diagram of a hotplate switching device, and FIG. 2 shows an unhooked device in the device according to FIG. Contact spring pack in a different switching position than in Fig. 1, #Fig. 3 still another switching position of this contact spring package,
4 shows a front view of the operating elements of two switches contained in the switching device according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 5 shows a side view of iFig. 4th
The switching device shown schematically in Fig. 1 is intended to make it possible to first heat a hotplate strongly until a product to be cooked is heated to about the cooking temperature;
This is to be automatically switched over in order to continue cooking. Here, the amount and: the type of food as well as the intensity of the desired continued cooking should be taken into account.
The energy consumption of the hotplate should be independent of fluctuations in the mains voltage during the parboiling period as well as during the cooking period. Finally, it should also be possible to operate the hotplate continuously at maximum power,
with the automatic switching off.
These requirements are met by the switching device shown; which for this purpose has two switches 1 and 2 that are built together to form a structural unit. The construction of the,
Switch 1 is in principle well known. This switch 1 comprises an eccentric disk 3, which is seated on a hollow axle 4, which is adjustable by means of an adjusting disk 5 (see Rig. 4 and 5).
A scale 6 is attached to the disk 5, which has a marking 0 and twelve markings 1 ... 12, which have as many switching positions or power levels in relation to an initial position represented by a stationary marking 7 Define (0 position).
The switch 1 has a bimetal strip 8, one end 9 of which is clamped in a stationary manner, while its free end 10 actuates a movable contact 12 via a tactile cam 1-1.
A fader -13 keeps Eden bimeball strips; 8 in contact with the eccentric disk 3. When the free end of the Biunetah strip 8 rests on a stop 1.3a, the contact 1.2 is closed. A heating winding 14 is attached over: because the metal strip 8 is attached.
A second movable contact 15 is kinematically connected to the switch axis 4, as indicated at 16. In its illustrated end position, which speaks the positions 1 to 11 of the setting disk 5 .ent, or contact 15 connects a mains terminal 17 to a fixed contact 18.
In its other end position, denoted by 15 ', which corresponds to or position 12, the dial 5, the con tact 15 connects the power terminal 17 to another fixed contact 19. In a middle position 15 "of the contact 15, which corresponds to the 0 position , the, voltage supply is interrupted.
The terminals 16, 18 and 19 are connected to two input terminals 20 and 21 of the switch 2. A third input terminal 22 of switch 2 is connected to the B:
connected to the metallic heating winding 14, which is connected to the terminal 19 on the other hand. The n Ü üt 23 designated heating coil of the hotplate is between the terminal 21 and Aem contact 12,
that in its illustrated closed position -: this heating winding .23 with the other with 24 designated net clamp connects.
The switch 2 has one of three, parallel to each other. Contact springs 25, 26 and 27 existing Kontakdederpia, ket, on which -contiäktfeadern-on the terminals 20, 21 and 22 firmly - clamped and = with contacts 28, 29 and -30 -are provided. ;
The middle contact faders give a = about theirs. Contract 30 outgoing part 27 ',
on which a Aussehaltarm 31 consisting of @ soliernn # ateryä- ll can meet. The spring part 27 'has a hole 32 through which a screw 33 passes with a lot of play, which screw 33 by means of a nut 34:
is attached to the free end or spring 25. At the end of their head 35 entgagengasetzt the screw 33 is provided with a laus existing button 36, the Iden scope of a Za nra @ des 37 scans.
The gear 37 is rotatably mounted on an axle 38 which passes through the hollow axle 4 and is seen at its end with an adjusting knob 39 immediately next to the adjusting disk 5 büfiedlichen. The adjustment knob has four markings 0, 1, 2 and 3, the markings 1, 3 corresponding cooking time quantities, e.g.
B. 1-3 liters of soup or the like. The toothed girl 37 is clamped between a ring 40, which is seated in a sweeping manner on the axis 38, and a spring plate 41, so that .ein slip clutch 40, 41;
which normally couples the gear 37 to the axle 38. On its end opposite the setting button 39, the switch-off arm 3.1 is fastened on the axle 38 by means of a nut 42.
A spiral spring 43 is attached on the one hand to the axially fixed ring 40 and on the other hand to a pin 44 which is fixed to the frame, so that it strives to drive the axle 38 and, via the slip clutch 40, 4, 1 also the gear 37 in the sense of arrow 45 to rotate from Fig. 1.
An inhibitor armature 46, which is pivotally mounted at 47, has two lugs 48 and 49, which can alternately enter one or the other tooth gaps 51 between the teeth 50 of the gear 37 and thereby prevent this gear 37 from being affected by to follow the torque exerted by the flushing spring 43.
The retarding anchor 46 has a shoulder 52, which is pulled by a pulling fieider 53 against a free end of a bimetal strip 54; @whose iand @ eres end at 55 some tension:
is. A heating coil 56 surrounds the metal strip 54 round - is connected to the terminals 20 and 22.
The switching device described works like fall @ at: Assuming that an amount of 2 liters of food should be brought to boiling temperature:
and then automatically - at the power level 3 matching this amount and the food in question, the marker 3 or Einsbellschelbe 5 of the switch 1 is set on the stationary marker 7 and is also set the mark ,
2- of the setting button 40 of the holder 2 - by turning it - in the sense of the arrow denoted by 5: 7 in FIG. 4, likewise on this stationary marking 7.
By turning the adjustment button, 3.9, the spiral spring 43 is tensioned, whereby the gear 3.7 remains stationary and the slip clutch 40, 41 grinds. By (turning the adjusting disk 5, the bimetal strip 14 is also slightly, via the eccentric disk 3,
adjusted against the force of the spring 13 'so that its free end slightly. more strongly against the stop 13a i than in the 0 position, in which the contact 12! is already -. closed.
Furthermore, since the contact 15 now comes to rest on the fixed contact 18 via the connection 16 from the switch-off position 15 ″, a circuit 17, 15, 18, 20, 56, 22, 27, 30, 29, 26, 21, 23 , 12, 24 closed, so that the cooking heating winding 23 and the metal heating winding 56 of the switch 2 carry current.
after a certain amount of time, which is the shorter, the higher the line voltage, and vice versa, the bimetal strip 54 bends into the: labeled 54 ':
Labe, so that the inhibitor armature 46 is pivoted by the spring 53, its nose 48 emerges from the tooth gap denoted by 51 'and its nose 49 falls into the tooth gap denoted by 51 ", which under the influence of the iSpdmalfeder 43 a torsion of the Slip clutch 40,
41 entrained gear 37 by half a tooth Teiluüg results. The button 36, which was resting on a tooth marked 50 ', now falls into the tooth gap marked 51 "', with which the spring packet contacts 28-30,
come into the position of FIG. The Kochheizwlcklung 23 remains switched on via 20, 25, 28, 30, 29, 26, 21, while the b'unetallheizwlcklung 56 is short-circuited via 22, 27, 30, 28, 25, 20 and as a result, cools down. The bimetallic strip 54 also cools down and thereby pivots the retarding anchor 46 against:
the force of the faders 53 back into the position shown in FIG. 1, caused a further rotation of the gear wheel 37 by half a tooth pitch, thus:
that the button 36 comes to rest on the tooth marked 50 "and the contacts 28-30 return to the position of FIG. 1. The game repeats itself as long as
until the switch-off arm 31, shown in an intermediate position in FIG. 1, hits the pin 44 and thereby prevents the adjusting knob 39, which has now returned to the 0 position, from being turned back further. In this position shown in Fig. 3, the contact 30 with the contact 28 is in:
Touch, from contact 29 against; lifted. The bimetallic heating winding 56 of the switch 2 aesthetically short-circuited, while the bimetallic heating winding 14 of the switch 1, which was previously in the position according to FIG. 1 as well as in that according to FIG. 2 over 2:
1, 26, 29, 30, 27, 22 was short-circuited,, is now in circuit 17, 15, 18, 20, 25, 28, 30, 27, 22, 14, 19, 21, 23, 12, 24 the cooking coil 23 is located.
From now on, the heating coil 23 no longer remains: permanently switched on, in that the switch 1 intermittently switches this winding 23 off and on in a known manner. If the 8 has been heated sufficiently by its winding 14,
which depends on the one hand on the position of the eccentric disc 3 selected with the setting disc 5 and on the other hand on the actual value of the mains voltage, it bends into the position marked 8 ',
so that the contact 12 is opened by a spring (not shown) and thus the power supply to the cooking coil 23 is interrupted until the bimetallic strip is removed. 8 has cooled down again. The time average:
the heating power now supplied to the heating coil 23 is so great that the food continues to boil, for example without overflowing.
It is clear that adle optimal: setting switches 1 and 2 based on experience, taking into account the amount and type of food, nature:
soot is hit in the cookware, etc., but this does not present any difficulties if the general guidelines are followed. ! The duration of the boiling time, which depends on the setting of switch 2, which, as a b:
The metal-controlled step switch can vary, for example, between about 1 and 20 minutes and depends largely on the actual values of the mains voltage, so that high mains voltage is compensated for by shortening the cooking time and lower mains voltage by lengthening the boiling time.
Likewise, the average power consumed by the heating coil during continued cooking is also independent of fluctuations in the mains voltage.
If you do not want automatic parboiling and switching, you can move switch 1 to position 12, so that contact 15 is then in position 15 '. The cooking heating coil 23 is then permanently in the circuit 17, 15 ', 19, 21, 23, 12, 24 so that the maximum power is continuously switched on, which of course requires monitoring of the cooking process.
It is clear that switch 1 can also be equipped in such a way that only: the positions 1 to 10 can be used for continued cooking and the positions 1 @ l and 12 two different,
