Fig. 1 ein Massband i i gestneckter Lage, .in Draufsicht, Fig. 2 das Massband als endloses Band, in Per spektive.
B. in Zentimeterteilung.
Measuring tape for measuring the neck size The invention relates to a measuring tape for measuring the neck size, for determining the collar vests of shirts, blouses and the like.
If a customary tailor's tape measure is used to measure the neck size, this tape measure does not show the correct collar size, as the tape measure cannot be applied to the neck like a shirt collar.
This is due to the fact that a conventional tailor's tape measure cannot be anatomically adapted to a neck to be measured due to its straight course.
Furthermore, a tailor's tape measure placed around Aden cannot be attached to an endless ring, so that the customer can determine with free head movement whether the set neck size is not too narrow.
Furthermore, when measuring with a Schneider measuring tape, the seller must grasp the overlapping ends of the measuring tape with two fingers so that fingers or fingers lying between the neck and the measuring tape worsen the measurement result.
The invention characterized in the patent claim eliminates this disadvantage and creates an anatomical neck tape measure that correctly shows the neck size and provides the customer. i gives the same certainty of the correctly chosen neck size as if the shirt or blouse to be bought had been tried out by oneself.
The subclaims, the description and the drawing contain further features of particular embodiments of the invention defined in the patent claim. The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a tape measure i i stneckter position, .in plan view, Fig. 2 the tape measure as an endless tape, in perspective. The measuring tape 1 consists of a flexible rubber with a fabric insert. The tape measure can therefore be rolled and can be shaped into: the stretched position according to FIG. 1 and as an endless tape according to FIG.
The band 1 is divided into two sections 2, 3. The section 2 is about three times as long as the section 3. The two sections 2, 3 are .separated from each other by .a bend 4 in the .Bandebende. The bend 4 has an arcuate course with the radii 5, 6. The tape 1 has over the entire .length. Constant width 7, only in the area of the bend 4 is the tape 1 less wide.
The section 2 of the band 1 has a slightly curved course. The .Mass 8 of the bulge is about 1 cm in one embodiment.
Section 2 has a linear scale 9, e.g. B. in centimeters. .The section 3 carries a protruding from the band plane cam 10 which, for. B. in a .in Idas volume 1 used push button @ half is available.
The graduation of the scale 9 is present in the form of openings 11 into which the cam 10 can be inserted (FIG. 2). Each opening 11 is provided with a numerical label. The cam 10 is used to mark the respective neck size set, such as. B.
the set neck width 45 in Fig.2. By inserting the cam 10 into an opening 11, the marking 10 is arre benefits along the scale. In the case of the stretched tape 1, the distance between the cam 10 and the respective opening 11 is written on the latter. The distance is measured along the length of the strip in the middle of strip 1.
The tape 1 can with the hole 12 z. B. hung on a wall hook. In the example, the tape measure is intended for neck sizes from 26 to 48 cm.
When measuring the neck woman, the band 1 is placed around his hatred (not shown) as shown in FIG.
The kink 4 of the ligament 1 lies in the area of the larynx, and the arched section 2 extends anatomically around the other part of the neck.
