Am unteren Ende der inneren Hohlwelle zwischen :dem Bund der inneren Hohlwelle und der Stütz scheite ider Trommelwelle greift ein Schwingungs- erzeuger ;
A.bflussrohren 19 be festigte Schutzkappe 24 greift.
Vibrating centrifuge The invention relates to a centrifuge for separating liquids from granular or crystalline solids with two rotating screen drums that vibrate at the same time in the axial direction.
There are already known centrifuges in which the drying of the material to be centrifuged is carried out in sieve drums and the discharge of the solid material is carried out automatically by the sieve drum given axial vibrations. The vibrations of the sieve drum of these centrifuges are hy- hydraulic, electromagnetic,
through mass unbalances rotating transversely to the drum's axis of rotation or through the simplest and most common method, the crank drive. With each of these types of centrifuges, it is necessary to assign a counter-mass to the mass of the vibrating sieve drum, which at the same time:
is positively influenced in its inertia by spoke springs. A mass balancing of this centrifuge is absolutely necessary, since the installation site is often on higher floors of building parts and thus a superposition of vibrations of the natural frequency of building parts with the excitation frequency of centrifuges must be avoided, since resonance is too considerable Damage to the centrifuge and the building.
One of the most effective methods of compensating for vibrations in the sieve drum is to use the centrifuge housing as a vibrating counterweight to counteract it. For this purpose, the centrifuge housing is elastically suspended in springs or rubber elements and the sieve drum in turn is installed in the centrifuge housing so that it can move or swing.
With this design it is possible to: dispense with the additional attachment of balancing weights, but this or the disadvantage that the vibrating centrifuge housing is exposed to considerable dynamic loads, which lead to frequent malfunctions and machine damage. In addition, no assembly is possible on a solid foundation.
In all of these centrifuges with a vibrating sieve drum, the dwell time of the centrifuged material in the drum must be precisely coordinated, as the moisture factor depends to a large extent on it. Due to the fact that the drum can only be used in a limited length, this means that it is necessary to carry out precise preliminary work and to do it completely evenly. -n: Ensure product feed without changing the consistency of the centrifuged material.
Furthermore, since the dwell time of the centrifugal product in the drum is only a relatively short one in these centrifuges, there is only a highly inadequate possibility of carrying out the effective washing process required for most centrifugal products. Otherwise, it is at the expense of a reduced performance or an insufficient degree of dryness. Pre-acceleration also plays a role in this type of centrifuge
of the feed product plays a significant role, yes without it a high degree of crystal destruction occurs and the value of the centrifuged material is often reduced. Accelerations have already been taken to remedy this deficiency:
Aufeln, and provided very long, rotating inlet funnels, by means of which, however, a better degree of efficiency is achieved only to a small extent, as a result of the liquid adhering to the centrifugal material a significant slip occurs and delays occur in the pre-acceleration.
There are. Vibrating centrifuges are also known in which the conical screen jacket is surrounded by a closed conical sheet metal jacket and there is a gap of about 30-50 mm between the sheet metal jacket and the screen jacket; 1.
The lower part of the gap between the screen jacket and the sheet metal jacket can be adjusted using an adjustable panel. Wind Ida's hurled goods at the smallest diameter of the centrifuge,
So it slips in the gap between the sieve shell and the sheet metal shell on the discharge side, accumulates due to the presence of the diaphragm and the liquid escapes through the inner sieve shell and is drained into collecting channels.
With such a procedure should be achieved idass solids losses are avoided, as they occur in centrifugal joints with a sieve jacket, in which the drying takes place in a known manner. This type of centrifuge is not suitable for drying, the centrifugal good,
because by releasing the centrifugal liquid, contrary to the centrifugal effect, only dewatering is achieved, but no drying:
of the solid. Another disadvantage lies in the need for an always completely identical consistency and uniform feed of the centrifuged material in order to raise the solid build-up on the screen.
The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the above-described disadvantages of the oscillating centrifuges, which are used for dewatering fine-grained or crystalline material and in which the solid material is discharged from the sieve drum by the oscillations imparted by the sieve drum.
To .dem purpose, an inner, downwardly widening sieve drum is arranged in an outer, conically widening sieve drum, the outer sieve drum attached with its drum base at the upper end of an inner hollow shaft and rotatably mounted in a frame outer hollow shaft is guided axially displaceably. The inner hollow shaft is supported with the hub of the drum bottom of the outer screening drum on an anti-vibration metal buffer on the outer hollow shaft.
Furthermore, a guided through the inner hollow shaft drum shaft at its upper end carries the inner sieve drum, which is surrounded by a closed, downwardly conically widening jacket and in its bottom opposite to the direction of rotation has shovel-shaped openings Publ.
At the widest point on the jacket, the inner sieve drum, there are drainage pipes which reach through openings provided in the drum bathing of the outer sieve drum and open into the liquid collecting housing.
Furthermore, the inner sieve drum with its drum shaft and a support disc attached to the drum shaft is supported by elastic Schwmbgm metal buffers on the drum nut,
which closes the inner hollow shaft and surrounds the drum shaft. The drum shaft and the inner hollow shaft have sohlitz-like openings through which the rotary motion is transmitted to the outer hollow shaft via a bolt.
A vibration generator engages at the lower end of the inner hollow shaft between: the collar of the inner hollow shaft and the support leg of the drum shaft;
on, the outer screen drum always oscillates in the opposite direction to the inner screen drum and the amplitude of the inner screen drum and that of the outer screen drum is pale, with always the same frequency.
The openings in the drum base of the outer sieve drum through which the drain pipes of the inner sieve drum open, expediently have a protective collar which is covered by protective caps attached to the drain pipes of the inner sieve drum. The discharge pipes can be bent at their exit end radially to the outside, or against the direction of rotation.
The vibration metal buffer on the drum shaft advantageously has a protective jacket that is attached to the drum shaft.
In a further embodiment, the outer sieve drum has a deflection ring which engages over the collar of a collecting channel, which is provided with a drainage nozzle, of the washing liquid collecting chamber.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown in longitudinal section.
In a frame 1, an outer hollow shaft 4 is rotatably mounted in bearings 2 and 3. A second inner hollow shaft 5 moves axially displaceably in the outer hollow shaft 4: the hub 6, the drum base 7 and:
carries its outer sieve drum 8 and is supported on elastic vibrating metal buffers 9 @. An axially displaceable drum shaft 10 engages through the inner hollow shaft 5, which has a support disk 11 in the vicinity of the upper end and which rests with this on an elastic vibration-proof metal buffer 12:
the drum nut 13, which closes the hub 6 of the outer screen drum 8 on the inner hollow shaft 5. At the upper end of the drum shaft 10, an inner sieve drum 14 with a surrounding perforated casing 15! Is attached. This screen drum with jacket is: directed so that its discharge end points to the bottom 7 of the outer screen drum 8.
To feed the centrifuged material, openings 16 are provided in the bottom of the inner Siebtrom mel 14, which are advantageously designed against the direction of rotation, and an inlet funnel 17 attached to the jacket 15 into which a fixed filling pipe 18 opens.
In order to drain the liquid from the same space between the advantageously conical, perforated casing 15 and the inner sieve drum 14, drainage pipes 19 are attached to its widest point, with their outlet openings radially outwards or counter to the direction of rotation:
the drum are directed, whereby an increased suction is brought about. The drainage pipes 19 reach through openings 20 in the bottom 7 of the outer sieve drum 8 and open into a liquid collecting housing: e 21, which is connected to a drain connection 22.
In order to avoid the loss of solid centrifuged product, the openings 20 in the drum base 7 are to be surrounded by a protective collar 23 over which a protective cap 24 attached to the flow pipes 19 engages.
So that the inner screening drum 14 and the outer screening drum 8 get the same speed, the drum shaft 10 and the inner hollow shaft 5 are provided with slot-like bores 25 and 26 through which a bolt 27 is passed and attached to the outer hollow shaft 4 is attached.
The out according to the known possibilities formed vibration generator 28 acts advantageously at the lower end between the collar 29 of the inner hollow shaft 5 and the support disk 30, which is attached to the drum; shaft 10 is fastened.
The frequency of the inner sieve drum 14 and the outer sieve drum 8 is the same, while the amplitude of the sieve drums 14 and 8 can be the same or different. If Ader vibration generator 28 moves the outer Siebtrom mel 8 connected via the inner hollow shaft 5 upwards, the inner screen drum 14 connected to the drum shaft 10 is pressed downwards according to the same amount. With this measure, the mass balancing of the oscillating parts, which is otherwise necessary, is dispensed with with approximately the same mass distribution on both screen drums.
For the washing medium to be supplied to the outer sieve drum 8, a washing tube 31 is arranged in this. In order to recover the washing medium, the liquid collecting housing 21 is provided with a collecting channel 32, a rim 33 and a separate drainage connection 34. In order to prevent the overflows of washing liquid from the space 35 in the liquid collecting chamber 21 of the drum base 7, a protective collar 36 is net angeord which engages over the board 33 of the collecting channel 32.
To: bring about a low overall height of the centrifuge designed according to the invention, the drive takes place: by a V-belt pulley attached between the bearings 2 and 3 on the outer hollow shaft 4. For the implementation of the V-belts 37 Publ openings 38 and 39 are provided in the frame 1 and in the housing shell.
In the housing detail 37 there is a chute 40 which is obliquely attached over the entire housing jacket and is wide with an opening 41 of the same width, which serves to discharge the dry material discharged from the outer sieve drum 8.
In order to protect the elastic vibrating metal buffer located in the inner drum 14 from being out of alignment, it is surrounded by a protective jacket 34.
The operation or mode of action of a vibrating centrifuge carried out according to the invention is fol lowing; The material to be centrifuged is continuously fed via the stationary filling tube 18 to the feed funnel 17 and through the openings 16 provided in the drum base of the closed jacket 15: to the inner sieve drum 14.
The liquid thrown off by the solid in the inner sieve drum 14 is caught in the surrounding jacket 15 and discharged via the screwed-in drainage pipes 19 to the liquid collecting housing 21.
A constant vibration of the inner sieve drum is achieved via the oscillation generator 28, by means of which the solid is thrown from the conical inner sieve drum 14 into the outer sieve drum 8 surrounding it.
The immediate dewatering of the centrifuged material in the smallest diameter of the inner sieve drum 14 avoids any slippage of the product, a steadily increasing acceleration of the solid is brought about without crystal destruction and no further acceleration work is transferred to it when the centrifugal material hits the outer sieve drum 8 .
The pre-dried centrifugal material transferred to the outer sieve drum 8 is moved over the edge of this largest diameter of the conical outer sieve drum 8 and thrown into the salt collector housing 42, from which it is thrown, since the drum is also set in vibration by means of:
the chute 40 and the opening 41 in the housing 37 is discharged. The liquid thrown off in the two sieve drums is picked up by the liquid collecting housing 21 and fed in concentrated form to the discharge nozzle 22.
In order: to ensure a vibration-free stand, the mass of the inner sieve drum 14 is approximately equal to the mass of the outer sieve drum 8 and the oscillating movement is directed in the opposite direction.
If the vibration generator 28 moves the outer screen drum 8 with drum baths 7, hub 6, inner hollow shaft 5 and its collar 29 upwards, the drum shaft 10 with the inner screen drum 14, the surrounding closed jacket 15 and the Moved to funnel 17 down. The frequency of both drums is always the same, so that a frequency change occurs for both drums at the same time.
The amplitude of the two sieve drums can be the same but also different for reasons of better discharge of the dry material or better functioning of the centrifuge. Since both the inner sieve drum 14 and the outer sieve drum 8 are each supported on an elastic vibration-proof metal buffer, it is guaranteed that both drums are well .axially: swingable.
If, in special cases, a washing process is carried out and value is placed on the separate discharge of the detergent, then that of the outer washing drum 8 is collected in the space 35 via: the washing pipe 31 and discharged via the separately provided drainage connection 34.
With the arrangement of two sieve drums in one another, not only is an advantageous use of the inner drum space of the outer sieve drum achieved,
but at the same time the throughput of this centrifuge is improved by more than 50%. Furthermore, if an effectively good washing process is interposed, the degree of dryness of the solids is significantly increased by: the extended dwell time in the rotating drums.
