Lifting and return device for tool carriers on backworking machines, in particular back grinding machines. The invention relates to a lifting and return device for tool carriers on back processing machines, in particular back grinding machines,
in which the stroke movement, which can be adjusted in length, is effected by a stroke curve with a fixed stroke height and the return movement is effected by a hydraulic element via the otherwise identical device.
In the known devices, lever and wedge gear are used to continuously change ider stroke size. According to the desired stroke of the tool carrier, the lever ratio or the wedge inclination is adjustable, whereby the corresponding transmission ratio between the lifting curve with a fixed stroke height and the stroke of the tool carrier is achieved.
The return of the tool carrier, which is usually required for thread tapping and milling cutter backworking, in the event of the machine returning to the starting position, is achieved with devices of various designs, which, however, work independently of or lifting devices and are also attached to the machine .
The lifting of the cam roller from the lift curve, which is necessary because of the opposite direction of rotation of the lift curve in the event of the machine returning to the starting position, is achieved with additional devices, or so-called single-tooth clutches are used to stop the lift curve cause during the return of the machine.
The known lever gears have the particular disadvantage, @that mixes them. small stroke sizes are difficult to achieve. which are absolutely necessary in the case of thread tapping.
The wedge gears do not have this part after, but can be set as a wedge gear with infinitely variable stroke in the known constructions, eg. B. as a wedge slide, a further increase in the number of strokes in the unit of time is not possible, since in these constructions the wedge piece including its wedge slide and the associated adjusting elements must be moved back and forth.
Since the primary-side parts run relatively large distances in wedge gears, this results in strong inertial forces in conjunction with high stroke rates in the unit of time, which then cause corresponding impacts. Bringing the setting elements up to the fixed part of the machine as a connection between the wedge slide and the operator's station also requires special design effort.
The disadvantages of an additional spring-back device and an additional device for lifting the cam roller from the lifting cam or
The use of tin tooth clutches involves increased effort. Furthermore, when using single-tooth clutches in the known constructions, advance movements of the lifting cam occur in the advance of the thread and, in the return of the machine, impact noises occur.
The invention relates to a lifting and return device for tool carriers on back-up machines, in particular back-up grinding machines,
in which the stroke movement adjustable in the path length is caused by a stroke curve with a fixed stroke height and the return movement is effected by a hydraulic element, for example, via the otherwise same device.
The invention consists in that in a cylinder fastened in a housing a piston which can be acted upon by pressure oil is slidably received and via a bolt with a tension spring fastened to the housing and with a lever that moves by means of a cam roller on the lift cam rotatably mounted in the housing or placed directly on a support bolt attached to the housing 'with' rotatably _ connected, whereby on the lever,
another tension spring connected to the housing is attached and a pull rod is pivotably arranged on the lever that rollers mounted in the pull rod against a wedge which is rotatable and adjustable by means of an adjusting spindle and an adjusting nut attached to the housing,
are supported and a push rod rests on a further roller also received in the pull rod.
In the drawing, the device according to the invention is shown, for example, on a relief grinding machine. The figures show: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through the lifting and return device and the tool carrier, FIG. 2 a section along the line A-B in FIG.
The tool carrier 1, Fig. 1, carrying the grinding wheel is slidably supported on the machine bed 2. The cam located on the tool carrier 1, which is designed as a nut, contains an adjusting spindle 3.
On the adjusting spindle 3 is a compression spring 4 which is supported on the one hand .on the cam, the tool carrier 1 and on the other hand on the machine bed 2. In. a housing 5, a push rod 6 is slidably mounted, which is secured in its position tion against rotation. One end of the bumper 6 is connected to the adjusting spindle 3,
and with the other end face it is due to the compression spring 4 always pressed against a roller 7, FIG. The roller 7, Fig. 2, and two rollers 8 .are mounted in a rotatable manner in a pull rod 9, Fig. 1,
the two rollers 8 always due to the compression spring 4 against a ge in the housing 5 superimposed wedge 10, Fig.1 and 2, are pressed.
The wedge 10, Figure 1, is held by a compression spring 11 in each case to an adjusting nut 12 in the system. The adjusting nut 12 is guided in a guide plate 13 which is arranged in the housing 5. In this case, an adjusting spindle 14 is received in the adjusting nut 12, which is mounted with the other end in the housing 5. The tie rod 9 is pivotally mounted in a lever 15 ge.
The lever 15 has a tension spring 16 and 17 at both ends, which are fastened in the housing 5 at their other end. The lever 15 carries a cam roller 18 which is in rotary connection with a lifting cam 19. The lever 15 is pivotably connected to one end by means of a bolt 20 with a Kol ben 21.
The piston 21 moves in a cylinder 22 and is guided in a cover 23 and 24. A support pin 25 serves as the system for the lever: 15 during its pivoting movement.
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: During backworking, the lifting curve 19, Fig. 1, is driven by a drive, not shown, in the direction of rotation indicated in the drawing, and the lever 15 must pass under the action of the tension spring 17 the contact of the cam roller 18 on the lifting cam 19, the lifting movement of which is to be carried out by means of a bolt 20 as a pivot point on the piston 21,
the piston 21 under the action of the im. The hydraulic force located in the cylinder 22 is held on the cover 23. Through the positive connection between the lever 15 and the train rod 9 performs, this at the same time a Hubbewe supply that increases according to the attack lever arm compared to the lifting height of the lifting cam 19.
The stored in the tie rod 9 two rollers 8, Fig. 2, run on the up to the pivot point of the wedge piece 10, Fig. 1, reaching flat slope, which by means of the adjusting spindle 14 and the resulting displacement of the adjusting nut 12 as a function is employed by the circular arc shape of the back of the wedge piece 10 according to the desired stroke of the tool carrier 1.
Under the action of the compression spring 4, the tool carrier 1 is above the adjusting spindle 3 and the push rod 6 on the roller 7, Fig. 2, and is accordingly the set wedge inclination of the wedge piece. 10, Fig. 1, moves back and forth against the compression spring 4.
When the tool carrier 1, Fig. 1, and the lifting of the cam roller 18 from ider lifting curve 19 is returned, the hydraulic force in the cylinder 22 is switched off, the piston 21 under the control of the Zugfe, dern1 @ G and 17 in Rieh. device cover 24 moved .and I thus also the pivot point of the lever 15,
whereby the lever 15 initially tilts around the support point of the cam roller 18 on the lifting cam 19 and thereby the two rollers 8, Fig. 2, come into the area of the greater inclination of the wedge 10, Fig. 1, and according to this wedge inclination (the Tool carrier 1 against the compression spring 4 via the push rod 6 and the adjusting spindle 3 convey the corresponding recess.
Before the cover 24 is reached by the piston 21, the lever 15 is supported on the support pin 25, which means that when the system (the Kol ben 21 on the cover 24 under the action of the train spring 16 and 17, the cam roller 18 in each case of the Lifting cam 19 is lifted off and as a result nothing stands in the way of a counter-rotating movement of the lifting cam 19.
The resulting tilting moment on the wedge 10 is canceled by the compression spring 4 in the event of a return due to the tilting moment of the compression spring 5, so that permanent contact of the wedge 10 with the adjusting nut 12 is guaranteed.
