Frame for doors or windows The invention relates to a frame for doors or windows provided with a stop strip made of flexible material.
Since then, these strips have been attached to the frame by means of screws or rivets or by gluing. Another type of fastening of such a bar was carried out in such a way that this bar with an edge strip serving to fasten it was clamped into a joint of the frame formed from two profile rails. The production of such a frame consisting of two profile rails is, however, laborious and expensive.
It is therefore proposed according to the invention that the frame is gebil det by a one-piece rail, which has a longitudinal fold in the area of a step formed by two right or acute angled bends, extending along the rail and serving as a fold, of which the step covering this step Stop bar is held.
The stop bar, which is usually made of flexible material, expediently has a groove corresponding to the longitudinal fold of the frame. A solid rubber strip can be used as a stop bar, but a stop bar that has a hollow profile is advantageously used. In order to increase the elasticity of such a tubular strip, it is advantageously stiffened by means of a transverse web that preferably runs diagonally. The sealing effect of this stop bar can be further increased by providing a plurality of longitudinal grooves on the stop surface.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown schematically. 1 shows a cross section through the frame of a rebated door; FIG. 2 shows a cross section through the stop strip made of flexible material before it is clamped onto the fold of the frame; 3, 4 and 5 each show a further embodiment of the step with a correspondingly shaped stop bar. The Zar ge 1, preferably made of sheet steel, has a fold formed by two right-angled Abbiegun gene 11 and 12.
On the side of this fold on which the door strikes against the frame, the sheet metal is deformed in the immediate vicinity of the fold in such a way that it has a fold 13 directed towards the fold. The stop bar 2, which has an essentially rectangular profile, is pushed onto this fold 13. The narrow side 21 of this profile has approximately a length which corresponds to the distance between the root of the fold 13 and the bending edge 12. The broad side 22 of this rectangular profile corresponds approximately to the distance of the bending edge 11 from the bending edge 12. At the corner facing the fold 13, the stop rail has a longitudinal groove 23 with curved flanks.
An approximately diagonally extending transverse web 24 extends approximately from the bottom of this groove. The outwardly curved stop surface 25 has a toothed profile. The rebate of the door 3 is dimensioned so that the stop bar 2 is slightly compressed together before the door strikes with its protruding edge 31 against the narrow side 14 of the frame.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the fold 15 is arranged on the outer edge of the step and points towards the recessed part of the frame. The stop bar is designed as a hollow bar and has a web 26 in the extension of the bar groove.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4, the fold 16 is displaced into the center of the shoulder surface compared to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the fold 17 is again arranged on the outer edge of the step and extends in the direction perpendicular to the shoulder surface of this step. In order to hold the stop bar in the area of the step, the step has at its inner edge 18 an acute angle into which a correspondingly protruding part 27 of the stop bar engages.
