Description

Fig. 4 einen Schnitt nach der Linie C-C der Fig. 3.

Drehmomenten be stimmt.

Elastic coupling The invention relates to an elastic coupling consisting of two disks connected to the driving or driven shaft, between which a continuously effective first system of elastic elements stressed in shear and only after a certain mutual rotation to achieve a non-linear characteristic the disks effective further system is arranged on pressure loaded elements.

An advantageous property of the couplings of this type is the ability not only to transmit the torques elastically and to dampen the shocks, but also to absorb or eliminate the torsional vibrations of the waves. It is known that when propelling ship units by internal combustion engines, the influence of the unevenness of the torque in the unit creates dangerous torsional vibrations, not only in the area of the high operating speeds of the engine, but also at low speeds.

There are known elastic couplings whose characteristics are linear, d. h. with the increase in the transmitted torque, the angle of rotation of the coupling also increases linearly. As a result, their ability to dampen torsional vibrations can only cover a certain speed range; Usually, the area of torsional vibrations is only covered at high Motordrehzah sources. In contrast, the dangerous torsional vibration in the range of the low operating speeds of the engine is not dampened at all by the coupling with the linear characteristic.

The object of the invention is to dampen torsional vibrations, particularly in the case of ship assemblies, both with a small load and with a load that exceeds it several times. This is achieved. in the known elastic couplings by a special Kupp treatment structure with a nonlinear Characteri stik, in which the stiffness of the coupling is very small at low load, while at full load is several times greater. However, known elastic couplings with a non-linear characteristic are relatively complicated, costly to manufacture and difficult to assemble in the unit.

In addition, these couplings do not allow sufficient radial and angular deflection of the shafts.

The disadvantages cited are eliminated by the fact that, according to the invention, the elastic elements of the first system are individual rubber bodies which are subjected to shear stress and are removably attached to the two panes.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the coupling according to the invention is shown. They show: FIG. 1 the clutch characteristic, or the characteristic curve of the torques as a function of the partial angular rotations of the clutch, FIG. 2 shows a radial section through the coupling part along the line BB in FIG 3, FIG. 3 a section through the coupling along the line AA in FIG. 2,

FIG. 4 shows a section along the line C-C of FIG. 3

As can be seen from the diagram drawn in FIG. 1, the elastic coupling in question has a non-linear end characteristic which consists of two line parts, of which the line part OA is the characteristic of the first-mentioned system of elastic elements corresponds, which is stressed independently in the angular partial rotation by the angle a A by the torques up to the Flunkt MKA. The further line part Äff of the end characteristic mainly concerns the second system of elastic elements that transmit the increased torques.

The actual construction of the elastic coupling consists of the drive disk 3 and the driven disk 4 (FIG. 2). The mutual connection between the two discs 3, 4 is carried out by means of a system A elastic elements, which are made of elastic material - z . B. from rubber - bodies 1 made. The axes of the elastic body 1 or their diameter lie on the circular line of a radius r. The elastic body 1 is provided with two flanges l ' which are attached to the parallel, flat body walls, e.g. B. are connected by welding or by vulcanization.

A screw Y ' is attached to each flange in such a way that two opposing screws lie on a common axis that is perpendicular to the flange 1' . When the torque is transmitted from the drive pulley 3 to the driven pulley 4, the individual elastic elements of the system A are subjected to thrust.

The clutch disks 3, 4 are provided with a further system B of elastic elements for transmitting the torques of higher values. This system is formed by blocks 2 (Fig. 3, 4), which are also made of elastic material, e.g. B. are made of rubber. Each elastic block 2 is suitably - z. B. by vulcanizing - attached to a washer 2 'provided with screws T'.

The individual blocks 2 are fastened by means of screws 2 "to the ribs 5 , which are welded to the drive pulley 3 . The axes of the blocks 2 touch the circular line of radius R. Two each Blocks 2 face one another with their elastic walls, and a rib 6 engages in each space between two mutually facing elastic blocks 2, which is firmly connected to the driven clutch disc 4. When the Torques who claimed the elastic blocks on pressure.

The system A of the elastic elements 1 represents the initial stage of coupling stiffness and is for the transmission of low. Torques determined. The type of stress on the elastic body 1 of this system allows a relatively large deformation with the low initial torsional stiffness of the coupling (line part OA of the characteristic in FIG. 1). Since the bodies 1 subjected to thrust transfer only part of the engine torque, they can be accommodated at a relatively small radius r.

The second and final stage of torsional rigidity of the coupling is determined by system B of the elastic elements 2 (line part AB of the characteristic in FIG. 1). System B of the elastic elements comes into play , d. h. in contact with the ribs 6 of the drive disk 4 when the value aA of the clutch rotation is reached or the relative rotation of the clutch disks 3, 4.

From this moment on, the entire clutch load is - , mainly - </ B, except for the links 1 of the system A > carry through the links 2 of the system B. In view of the fact that the elastic elements of system B are subjected to pressure, they can withstand high loads and their dimensions are therefore small. Attaching the links 2 on a larger radius R of the drive pulley also contributes to this.

The arrangement according to the invention makes it possible to increase the ability of the elastic coupling and also to absorb its increased stress, which arises in the case of impacts in the drive unit. With regard to these shocks and possible vibration excitation of the clutch when starting and stopping the engine, where the critical revolutions below the minimum speed are exceeded, the pressure elements are advantageously housed on both sides of the ribs 6 , so that the coupling is suitable for both directions of rotation.

The described arrangement of the two systems A, B of the elastic elements and their type of stress offers further advantages, as the coupling is radial and is flexible and soft, whereby a considerable imbalance of the drive and driven shaft is allowed. The coupling is able to encompass the torque fluctuations from the smallest to the largest amplitudes and thereby eliminate the dangerous torsional vibration of the unit over the entire speed range. This property makes the coupling suitable for use in units with a wide speed range, as z.

   B. in the case of ship units driven by heavy oil engines, which have a highly uneven torque.
