So muss z. So muss z.
Fitting on a door The invention relates to a fitting on a door.
With the known prefabricated doors, laborious fitting work is often necessary on the construction site. So z. B. the finished door to adjust it to the height of the floor and enough space between the door and floor to guarante most, be cut at the construction site. This cutting of the door at the construction site is tedious and requires additional measures. So z. B. such a tailored door may be painted again.
Often it is also necessary to provide the underside of the door with moisture protection in order to prevent moisture from penetrating from the floor.
It is also known, both in the factory painted, prefabricated doors as well as those doors that are fitted at the construction site and then painted, with a fitting z. B. to provide a bumper strip. For this fitting, plastics, metal and other suitable materials are used, which are attached to the door with the help of screws, glue or other adhesives.
The present invention aims to simplify this fitting work on the construction site, completely avoiding the cutting of the finished painted and varnished door on the construction site and combining the fitting with the attachment of Be fittings of the type mentioned. The fitting according to the invention on a door is characterized in that a profile with a U-shaped cross section is attached to the lower end of the door, the two legs of which are arranged on both sides of the lower part of the door.
Various exemplary embodiments of the invention are described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. It shows: Fig.l a door with the door fitting according to the invention in view, Fig.2 a section through the Darge in Fig. 1 presented door along the line II-11 in Fig. 1, Fig.3 a part of the in Fig.2 section shown on an enlarged scale,
4 shows a section through the door fitting alone, FIG. 5 shows a section analogous to that in FIG. 3, the door fitting not being pushed completely onto the lower end of the door in order to increase the overall length of the door.
FIG. 6 shows a section analogous to FIG. 3 according to another exemplary embodiment, FIG. 7 shows a section through the door according to line VII-VU in FIG. 1, FIG. 8 shows a section analogous to FIG. 7 another embodiment.
According to FIGS. 1 and 2, a door 10 is provided at its lower end with a door fitting 11 which protects the door in the lower area from damage by the shoes. As can be seen from Fig. 2 and 3, this door fitting has a cross-sectionally U-shaped profile, the two legs 12 and 13 of which rests against the lower part of the door on both sides, while the connecting web 14 on the un direct face of the door is applied. As can be seen in FIG. 4, these legs can be bent inward and resilient,
so that the door hangs tightly to the door when it is pushed onto the door.
The two legs are shown the same length in the drawing, of course, depending on the loading, one leg may be longer than the other ausgebil det. One leg can also be thicker than the other. The height of the legs is advantageously chosen so that the door is not damaged as much as possible by contact with the shoes. The surface of the door fitting can be rough or smooth both on the inside and on the outside. The door fitting can be made of metal, plastic, rubber or other suitable mate rial.
The distance between the two legs 12, 13 is advantageously adapted to the thickness of the door.
If the distance between the door and the floor is too large, as can be seen from FIG. 5, the door strike cannot be pushed completely onto the lower end of the door, so that a cavity 15 is ent. In this way, it is possible to attach the Türbe strike 11 to the door so that the desired gap size is created between the floor and the door.
As can be seen from Fig. 6, the one leg of the cross-sectionally U-shaped door fitting 11 can be designed as a weather leg 16 having a sealing strip 17 on its lower side, which is anchored in a dovetail groove 18 of the wet leg 16. This sealing strip 17 can consist of foam rubber, rubber, bristles, felt or another suitable material.
The legs 12, 13 of the door fitting 11 can be connected to each other at both ends by webs 19 according to FIG. 7 or, as can be seen from FIG. 8, the door fitting can be open at both ends. In the second case, the door fitting can be cut from a long strip when it is attached to the door to the desired length.
The door fitting can be attached in any suitable manner, e.g. B. by gluing or nailing. Under certain circumstances, it may be sufficient that the inside of the two legs 12, 13 has horizontal ribs that engage in corresponding grooves on the door, and that the legs rest resiliently on the surface of the door.
Thanks to the door fitting described, it is no longer necessary to adjust the length of the door exactly to the height of the door frame when hanging the door. This coordination is particularly difficult in the case of prefabricated, lacquered doors, since such doors then have to be lacquered again afterwards. With the door fitting according to the invention, the total length of the door can be selected at any time without any damage to the door.
Since there are slight differences between the existing standards for door lengths, e.g. B. Doors of 2 m length are often produced, while DIN 18101 prescribes a height of 198.5 cm, so thanks to the present invention you can limit yourself to keeping doors with the smaller dimensions in stock.
