Description
Insulation board provided with a vapor-blocking layer for insulating roofs The present invention relates to an insulation board provided with a vapor-blocking layer for insulation on roofs. The plate is expediently provided with an absolute vapor barrier on all sides, e.g. B.
provided with a metal layer coating so that the actual insulation body is protected from moisture penetration.
Known insulation panels are butt anein other, with the joints formed between them form unwanted entry points for cold, moisture or steam.
It is the object of the present invention to design the joints between two insulation panels so that the above disadvantages are avoided.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the edge of the plate is formed in a stepped manner, the stepped surfaces also being provided with the vapor-barrier layer. The labyrinthine seal formed in this way enables roofs to be built with coherent, well-insulated surfaces made of insulation panels.
It is advantageous if the insulation panels formed in this way are provided with vapor exhaust ducts on their underside. These channels make it possible for the moisture evaporating in the rock of new buildings to be drawn off without damaging the interior of the insulation board.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the lower edge of the plat tenrandes is beveled to form a half-channel or provided with a groove. In this way, two adjacent plates in turn form a steam extraction duct of the type described above.
In a perfect embodiment, the vapor barrier layer is a metal coating. Exemplary embodiments according to the invention are shown in the drawing. 1 shows a perspective view of part of an insulation panel, FIG. 2 shows a modified embodiment according to FIG. 1,
3 shows a detail of a further embodiment of an insulation board according to the invention.
The insulation board shown in Fig. 1 consists of a heat insulating core 1, which is supported by a vapor barrier layer 2, which z. B. consists of a thin aluminum layer is coated. At the board edge 3, the insulation board is step-shaped, namely it has a step 4 on one side and a protruding part 5 on the other side.
The other side edges can also be shown in this way, as is indicated for part 6 in FIG. All surfaces of the steps 4, 5, 6 formed in this way are also covered by the vapor barrier layer, which prevents any penetration of moisture into the panel body.
The embodiment shown in Fig. 2 has, compared to the first mentioned, on its underside additional vapor extraction ducts 7, 8, which give the moisture in a building the possibility of
to exit to the outside under the insulation panels resting on the bar. In this embodiment, the lower edges 9 and 10 of the plate edge are beveled and each form a hollow channel. Two abutting plates form a steam exhaust duct at these points in the manner of steam exhaust ducts 7 and B.
As FIG. 3 shows, the half-channels can also be formed with a groove 11 instead of being beveled.
